Luckily these were common problems and past class action law suits paved the way for free repairs. Still a hassle to get repairs made and I will not buy LG appliances in the future.

Great setting for all needs
I bought this in September for my birthday and I absolutely love this washing machine. All the settings are perfect and each need. I just wish it had wifi on it like the dryer. The sales associate said it did but it doesn’t. Not a deal breaker though, as long as it wash my clothes good as it does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is fine. It doesn’t hold a large load well and hardly uses water which is good unless you’re have a large load then cloth dont even get wet. I do like the delicate cycle for sweaters. I think that is the best feature.

Reliable and amazing features

Repair persons dream
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer for 7 months. It wouldn’t complete a cycle starting within the first week. I made 6-7 calls to customer service. It took me being pretty pushy to get a repair person out. Have had them out twice with in the first couple months. Worked well until recently. Have to restart the washer 2-4 times to finish a load. Same problem and they can’t get it fixed. Not happy with this washer at all.

Mostly Great with a Few Drawbacks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most of the features are top shelf. One major area that could use improvement is the unavailability of the extra hot setting on some of the cycles, for instance bedding and towels. I really want my bedding and towels washed in extra hot water. Also the water level seems low and I often feel the need to choose water plus and extra rinse, both of which negate the water saving aspect of an HE washer. It is a very attractive machine and cleans well.

OE Error
I bought this machine in October of 2018, almost immediately, I would constantly get OE errors, I would have to unplug the washer, wait about a minuted and have to set it to spin only to finish the wash cycle. Most of the time it had not even gone through the rinse cycle, the fabric softener was still there. This last time I got an OE error, I did the usual unplug, wait, start spin but it just hummed. Not draining at all. For the amount of money machines cost now, they should not need repaired this soon. I miss the days when appliances were built to last. (my dryer is 22 years old)

Breaks down all the time
This washer is very unreliable bought 2018 repairman had to replace water intake part. They knew right when I called after 6 months what the problem. They don't tell you tiny strainers can get clogged and you can clean it your self. Now the water intake has crapped out again and they want over 200 to fix. Piece of junk, they don't stand behind their products.

First and Last Time I purchase from LG.
I bought this washer back in december of 2019. On June 19th 2020 the washer would just not power on. Less than 7 months later!. We take care of our appliances no excessive use, no misuse no heavy loads, only moved it forward once to clean behind it......this machine is too new to have an issue like this. Im very dissapointed with LG not only product but how they "auto schedule" service requests. We are still well within the manufacturer's warranty. We put the service in on the 19th, Called to follow up on the 20th and were told we would have someone call us back 24 to 48 business hours.....That was friday night so we waited. It is now wednesday afternoon. So I call back to follow up and the rep states that there was an appointment set for the 23rd..(today) That we were never notified about because the system Automatically scheduled it.....but no call...no service. Our case left in limbo. I know LG has no sense in urgency but you are dealing with people not machines.

Love it!
This machine follows a smelly, no good front loader. We love it for its size and ability to wash comforters as well as soak clothing. It doesn't make clothes smell bad, either.

TERRIBLE SMELL
WE have followed the instructions in the Owner's Manual, cleaning this washer monthly with either Affresh or Clorox using the Tub Cleaning Cycle. We have had this washer for about a year and a half. There are only two of us in the household and we are professionals. THIS MACHINE IS A STINKY DISASTER, in my opinion. We have done a trial-and-error process to discover the cause of this TERRIBLE SMELL, AND IT IS THE WASHING MACHINE. This machine has been cleaned every month according to the instructions in the owner's manual, which is to run the machine in the "Tub Cleaning" cycle using a recommended cleaner (which we use Affresh) or Clorox. We have done both. We have also cleaned the machine three times with Affresh and twice wwith Clorox in the last week trying to get rid of the SMELL.
