I liked this washer initially. However, after 5 years of use, the impeller sheared off and it would cost as much as we paid for the washer to have the 3 parts replaced and installed. It’s not like it was a basic model or inexpensive. I will not buy LG again for washer or dryer

Was a terrific washer for a couple years… almost. Then gradually the dial has worked erratically & the drum creaks & does not spin well. Itseems whatever bushings, springs, &/or bearings responsible for holding it are shot. My research says the repair may cost as much as a new washer. The motor has a 10 year warranty, & the drum still looks pristine… but that doesn’t help everything else wearing out so fast for a pricey washer.

Brought a washer and they tried working on it but the serial number fell off to faulty work man ship.Here a picture of the problem:

I wanted the grandfather clock, but I am so thankful he go the the washer/dryer. I love the several options/features to select as to how I want the clothes washed. My favorite is the "speed cycle". I am totally impressed with the large capacity of the tub. It allows to wash a large load. The performance is exactly what needed to ensure clothes are clean. The notification ringtone is a plus as a reminder of clothes are done.

Just out of warranty, i came home to find the machine side panel blown out and top shifted to the right- as of someone took a hammer to it! Several plastic pieces inside the tub. Probably should have bought a better brand.

I am having random items come out with bleach like stains on them. It isn't all items in a load and some loads don't have any issues at all. It happened on a king size quilt, bed sheets, delicate items, towels and normal loads. Bleach has never been used in the machine, since we bought it new. I have used Tide Pods, Tide, Method Free and Clear, Downy Fabric Softner in the machine as process of elimination and it occurs with all of them. It doesn't matter if what temp the cycle is either. The machine gets cleaned monthly with OxyClean washing machine cleaner. I also tried vinegar and ammonia recently to see if that made a difference. To no avail. I would hate to total up the amount of clothing and bedding that have been ruined due to this!

I have owned three different washers in the past 12 years & this is the best one by far. The features of this are great & come in very handy having 4 dogs. It is able to sense small & large loads & adjust when needed. The sanitary settings are amazing & a game changer for us. I have been using it for over a year now & it has performed better than I expected.

I purchased this washing machine new on Sept. 10, 2018. Today I had a small load of three delicate shirts on a quick wash. Heard a horrible noise. The agitator plate completely busted off. The warranty is only good for one year. Now I have to pay for the repair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased over 6 mo. ago to replace our recalled samsung washer that looked similar but drastically different. can reach down into the washing tub without hurting your stomach and it is the same size tub , its quiet and does an outstanding job of cleaning.they really put some thought into designing this washer.I could go on but LG has done it again and made an Outstanding product .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is very quiet even when spinning. It is quicker than my last washer. I don't think it is damaging my clothes or linens as Not much lint comes out in the water.

It's awesome. We have had the washer for roughly a month, and we absolutely love it. Handles light and heavy loads with ease, and is relatively quiet. Would recommend it for sure!

I have only owned this washer for a month and have only used it half a dozen times, but, I am very impressed with the overall quality and capability. The agitatorless wash tub is a real plus. Clothes get cleaned very well and the auto-balance feature really works! I used the extra water setting once on a set of bathroom rugs that needed to be completely submersed in the water, and it worked very well. I have also purchased the companion dryer and am also very pleased with it's performance. I recommend this both the washer and dryer, especially when they go on sale.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been about a month or 20 loads and could not be happier,does everything we expected and more.

I am only giving this washer a 2 star review because I did love my Washer however after 5 years, the area around the water sprayer and under the bleach cup has rusted out pretty extensively. Home depot and LG say this is a cosmetic issue and is not covered by either the manufacturer warranty or the extended warranty. An LG rep went on to tell me the the rust was because I didn't wipe up spilled bleach. If you want rust on all of your laundry this is your washer!

My old washer had a long list of issues so I replaced it with this one and I was using it within minutes, it's faster than my dryer which I've never experienced. My favorite part is how clean my clothes are and gow great they smell. I also enjoy being able to view the clothes as their washing!!

This washer seems to operate with just the right amount of water. The sounds are about 50 percent less noisy as compared to a traditional machine. However, customers should be aware that there ARE still sounds, but they are different sounds than what they might be accustomed to.

I am enjoying all the features especially the sanitize for my office laundry as I am an esthetician and Reflexologist and I want our linens to be clean and user free.

I love the machine. There is no small load feature like on the dryer. When the tub turns it squeaks. Which is scary, but I did notice even when the Machine is stopped & you touch the tub it squeaks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its been more than a month since we had this washer and very satisfied. Clothes come out very clean and still there are so many features and options that I didn't have chance to try yet.

I am in love with this washer that I have had for 2 weeks now. The drum is large and I can fit a king size comforter in it with a little room to spare. I can also fit most of a weeks worth (2 adults, 1 potty-training toddler and an infant) of clothes in it. I do have to really reach for some items at the bottom, and I am 5'4". I would not be able to use a larger capacity top-loading washer. There are many pre-made cycles (sanitary, allergen, whites, towels, normal, sport, etc.) on this washer that allows my husband to also help with the laundry easier. I feel like this washer gets my clothes really clean and spins a lot of water out of them before drying, which is really nice for highly absorbent clothing, such as comforters and cloth diapers. I also love the color on this washer. I do not like that finger-prints are easily visible on it, however. Overall, great product.

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage girls so the large capacity is great! The balancing feature keeps it spinning quietly and there are plenty of cycles to choose from. We've had it over a month and couldn't be happier!
