Electronics have broken 2 months after the warranty ended. I cannot recommend LG products

          Love the washer!
          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My LG washer is almost 5 years old and I have been so pleased with it! Is has not fallen apart like my last two washers, both of which were Maytags. The LG is easy to use, washes and rinses well, and is easy to load. Will stick with LG for lots of my appliances!

            A big beautiful piece of junk
            This was a gift from my daughter that worked for a year and a half then became unrepairable. This definitely a design flaw.

              Two years on, and no issues
              [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the washer (a top loader) 2 years ago, and have had zero issues. It cleans clothes as well as any washer we have ever had, it is quiet, can hold quite a bit, has setting options for days, and even looks nice. No complaints thus far.

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer in November 2019. I love it! It really gets clothes clean and has great features. The only issue we've run into was the DL error code. It's happened a few times but I've been able to get it to work. The last time though, I had to call and get it repaired.

                    BEST I'VE EVER USED!!!
                    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought the set for me 9 yrs ago and I've had zero complaints. My LG washer and dryer both are the best I've ever owned or used anywhere. Everything comes out of the wash impeccably clean. Some things are nearly dry due to the excellent spin cycles and it's so much easier to keep clean compared to front load machine in a different brands that I previously owned. It only just recently required a repair; some splines are worn down on the bottom of the agitator plate so it would not stay seated. I put in a work order through our home warranty service & was contacted almost immediately from a certified LG repair company. They had me actually upload photos and a description of what was wrong via text. The technician arrived with the exact part needed and had it installed and was gone in less than 20 minutes! My machine got a thorough, DEEP cleaning while I waited and now it's back working like brand new again!

                      Look elsewhere
                      Our unit is but 1 year out of warranty & experienced a broken drive shaft in the clutch unit. Service tech stated he has never seen this happen b4 & we contacted LG for extended warranty assistance. NO GO! Even though there is but 2 of us in the household manufacture stood their ground on the 1 year warranty. Interestingly enough, the failed part is excluded from the 10 year drive warranty. I wonder why? If this in fact such a rare failure you would think LG would want to look into why the premature metal fatigue. My guess is they new it was problematic, intentionally excluded it from the 10 year warranty & didn't really care about retaining a customer. They definitely lost one here & I'll make it a point at every opportunity to tell people about how little LG cares about standing behind their products.

                        Washer is great, but breaks down after 6 yrs.
                        I bought my front load LG in 2013, and loved it. I replaced the mother board in 2020, and now my spin cycle is super loud so tech ordered a part.

                          Doesn’ last long
                          We have had it repaired multiple times over 5 years. The bolt on the agitator motor sheared off. Had the replace the entire motor. Replaced the water I put valve because it leaked when not running. Amd over time time it simply smells of mold. Modern washers do not empty completely and build up mold. This thing is five years old. Just don’t build them like they used to.

                                It works, little smelly but it works

                                        Washer repair
                                        In the beginning there were a few problems with scheduling and I kept getting message that my repair request was canceled which resulted in extra phone calls but after that no problems. The technician was nice, polite, respectful and knowledgeable of what she was doing. She clean up after herself and left my utility room neat. She informed me of the problem with the washer and what parts she had to order and told me when to expect them. She also scheduled my return appointment

                                            Extra large capacity won me over!

Being able to fit so much clothes in one load, and for it to come out fresh and clean, is amazing! With the family of six, I don't have time to be doing laundry all day long. With this extra large capacity it's one load a day and I'm done! Could not imagine my life without it!

                                                  I don’t think you want to hear my review. We bought the LG washer and dryer about five years ago, top-of-the-line, and I’ve had to have it repaired twice already. The motor went out once and some kind of stabilizers went out another time. We do not overload this washer and treat it Very gingerly.

                                                          Washer & Dryer
                                                          We bought both washer & dryer 3 years ago. They are energy efficient, which we wanted. But within 3 years the efficiency is less than efficient. We have to run loads longer for them to get cleaned and dryer. Currently replacing the electronic panel and suspension in washer and dryer isn’t drying, which we are waiting 1 month for a service call. Very disappointed in product.
