Poor experience at the Pro desk,if your a casual homeowner who occasionally buys materials the store is ok. If your a pro contractor don't waste your time,store management has no clue how to serve us.

We were very happy with the Amsterdam store. We went in to look at snow blowers and the staff was right there to help with any questions or explanations we may of had. After giving us the information we were looking for, he stepped away to allow us to converse before making this large purchase. There was no pushing of sales. THAT means a lot to us

One of the items I purchased was defective. I returned it the same day for a replacement. Return process was fast, friendly and efficient. Thanks.

Store was clean, employees were there where you needed them. Employees were very helpful, and i had a polite and courteous cashier that checked me out.

Purchased $534.21 of flooring on Oct.22 it took untill Nov. 8 to finally receive my complete order with me calling customer hot line to see what was the hold up. I purchase most of my materials from Home Depot. Just was not happy with the time it took to get my order.When my flooring arrived the the boxes were in bad condition so they stated that on my pick up confirmation in case there were any problems. When you purchase items from any store they should be in good condition and pretty close to the schedule date. Hope your service gets better. thank you

in this store the staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and patient. the store is always well stocked and very clean. There exists a welcoming air when you walk in through the doors.

I was told that by becoming a "pro" member using my Phone Number my receipt could be found by only using my Phone #. I liked that idea because I cant hang onto receipts for more then a few days. This worked in the past, but last time I was told that I should save the scan code of the item or the receipt when bringing an item for return (and just get replacement). It was safety glasses I was returning and expected them to have the purchase on file when I gave my phone Number to the Customer service lady. She did not seem to be having a nice day is all I will say. But she did allow me to switch the glasses as a "courtesy" she said. Most times the store is nice to shop in. They were out of the glasses I brought in to return and was given a substitute. Now I am confused as to Whether or not I need to attempt to keep my receipts for all my purchases.

Excellent customer service. We were looking at sling stack chairs, selected 2 and Melissa took them to the check out for us so we didn't have to carry them!!!

I purchased Deck Over in 2016 which I was reassured by the HD staff that it was the perfect product for my aging deck. However, it peeled off in huge sheets within two years and the product ended up in litigation and many people are suing for reinbursement of the damages done to their property. When I went into HD for a copy of my receipt as proof of purchase I needed for the litigation, they were unwilling to supply me a copy. It is interesting how HD is helpful when it serves them such as in a sale, but not when it does not serve them well. Also I went in recently for flooring tiles. I bought all they had and the associate told me they had no more in stock. However, after scanning a box, he told me there were 10 boxes in Schenectady, 70 boxes in Latham, and 0 boxes in Saratoga. I drove to Schenectady to be told they had none. I drove to Latham to be told they had none and was scolded by both stores for not calling first and making sure that an "associate puts an eye on it." I don't know how it became by fault. I ended up going to Saratoga and they had plenty of boxes. Communication and efficiency are not high on HD's priorities.

Staff extremely helpful, pleasant, professional and friendly. Very helpful finding items for you, giving opinions of what looks good with colors you are looking for. Store was clean & orderly. Would highly recommend this store.

Went online to order project list. All items were in stock . Made my order to be delivered. Found out i cant get it all at once. They shipped what i need last first , what i need first , i have to wait to get . Set my project back 2 weeks. Im receiving stuff from out of state in piece mill. It was all in stock at my local store. Get it together guys!!!!!!!!!!

Associates at this store are always willing to help, if they are unable to answer your question or take you to what you are looking for they will get someone that can. Customer service desk associates are also very nice.

Need to have at least one normal register open and not just self checkouts. Some items don't always have a barcode and waiting for an employee to scan it in when there are others checking out and needing help is annoying. Otherwise do like other stores with self checkouts and give customers the ability to look up an item.

I continue to patronize The Home Depot in Amsterdam due to the professional, friendly associates who always make me feel welcome, are readily available and willing to help me with my shopping needs. I always find the store clean, well organized and stocked with the items that I am looking for.

Materials were available..staff very helpful ..checkout went well and staff helped me to my car and loaded my purchases..Over all was a very successful visit

This was a very pleasant experience! Received great customer service from Eric and Fernando. They took their time answering questions and explaining the entries on my receipt. You don't see this type of help in too many retail locations in today's world.
