I’m usually overwhelmed at home improvement stores because I am NOT the handy type, but the employees I interacted with tonight were so kind and helpful! Yan, Fernando and Sara were able to answer all my questions and get me exactly what I needed!

I go into The Home Depot maybe 2 to 3 times a week. Everyone is so nice. Always smiling and asking if I need help.

I’m in the process of updating my kitchen after 50 years. I just love what you have to offer.

Liza and Margaret were very helpful with meeting our needs.

Of all the Home Depots in our area, this one is the best so far. The staff are also very nice.

Every time we go to Amsterdam, ny Home Depot, every one is so helpful, from the manager Carm, to any one else that works there.

I am remodeling my kitchen and Jane made this a very easy and stress-free experience. She was knowledgeable, patient, professional with me. Steve from appliances was great also explained everything in detail.

We have purchased kitchen cabinets, refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, bathroom fixtures, tile, rugs, doors, and a variety of other items from Home Depot. We are very pleased with all our purchases and will continue doing business with Home Depot's Amsterdam, New York store.

I was looking to buy a Milwaukee heated vest. The display shelf had 2 vests hanging which were too big. Upon approaching checkout I noticed many of the heated jackets amd vests located high on a front shelf. There were multiple sizes in which I spotted the size I wanted to try on. We were not allowed to access them or open the packages therefore there was no sale. I asked the Pro desk associate Brookelynn if I could see them. She rudely replied "Excuse me?" I asked if those were accesible and that I just wanted to check the size. She asked with an attitude what I needed. She was agitated. She said to hang on and called for someone to help. She was yelling behind the desk and making a scene while trying to deal with a customer on the phone. She shouldnt be working in the customer service industry if she cant deal with people.

I was there to get a lawn mower on display and went up to customer service and was addressed immediately, she found a person to get the display down and also help me put it in my vehicle. He checked it over and customer service checked me out quickly and printed a manual for me. It was put in my vehicle and both employees were courteous and helpful. I was in and out quickly.

The store was clean . Employees were friendly and helpful. I had the best shopping experience in a long time. Burke, Ed , Melodie and those I don’t know names. Great job. I hope I run into all of you again. Ed thank you for the cold water.

Great store and team for customer care.

Terrible customer service! Purchased a grill which was to be assembled in one week. Not ready. After second week, went to store to pickup grill. Wrong one (a cheaper one!) presented with my name on it. Obtained a refund.

I would say that overall this Home Depot store is excellent. You are only as good as your employees because they reflect the store. It has been my experience that I am always well please when shopping there.

Big Jim who waited on me went above and beyond to help locate my product that was ordered online. It was a big ladder and was received with some damage oh, but he inspected the damage it was minimal and he saw to it that I had my order to pick up.

One product was broken and had to return and get another, I special ordered a kitchen cabinet stand up double oven and the store received a small over the microwave cabinet claiming to be what I had ordered. The manager said she could get the vendor to send me a 50$ gift card and that was all she could do to spend at Home Depot and didn’t even offer any kind of rush delivery. Furious because I had someone come out about an hour away to get it and now I have nothing for my double oven that’s supposed to be in next week.

I come here and shop here quite a bit, probably once a week. I ordered something online and had to return it because it was broken and the woman who processed my return was very rude and kept telling me that it looked used, BECAUSE IT WAS DAMAGED IN SHIPPING. I tried to tell her this and even showed a picture from when i took it out but she couldn’t wrap her mind around it. A supervisor/ manager or whatever she is came over and I explained it to her and completely agreed with me. At least there is 1 sensible person there. The woman who straightened out the situation was Brooklyn so thank you to her for the help.

The Amsterdam Home Depot’s associates are always helpful. The Pro Desk Associate Kim Buchanan listened to what we wanted to do. The pricing of materials was very reasonable. I look forward to going to this store for any future projects.

Since Home Depot is supporting MLB's decision to move to Colorado, I WILL NEVER shop at your stores again. Been a customer since the day you open. Corporate America should NOT get involved in politics. We DO NOT care about your opinion. Just stick to selling products for the American people.

Store employees are very helpful and knowledgeable! Always asking if they can help versus other comparable stores in the area.

Was helped right away, salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful in picking out the appliance that worked best for me. I will go back in the future for any further needs that I have.

The only issue I have are the young female cashiers. They take their time when it comes to cashing you out. A two minute cash out takes at least 10 minutes. Other than that, I have no problems

the bathrooms are always clean. and for the most part the store is tidy

I think its a great store to shop at with better deals than other places.Would defintly shop here again.
