Purchased this and installation online and am incredibly happy with the results. The product itself is great. Love the monochromatic look and the hidden controls. It's also very quiet, although perhaps its because our last dishwasher was cheap and loud. The normal wash cycle with heated dry can take over 3 hours but the 1-hour wash cycle is a nice option that cleans the dishes just fine. It also holds a TON of dishes! I purchased the installation services with it and am very pleased with the process. It was a very quick install and worth the extra money even though I had installed one on my own before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After several weeks of use I can honestly give this washer 5 stars!The silverware basket is great because it's not stuck in one place! It can be attached flatly to the door, balanced out of or inside the bottom rack. So no need to move it around anymore!!The top rack has the ability to be adjusted also which has already came in. handy!!!!The cleaning cycles are vast and frankly my favorite part is that you can see to the minute how long it will take to get done!Love it!!

The washer is exceptionally quiet while running which is a big change from the one it replaced. The silverware spray does not seem to be as amazing as it was billed as, but perhaps we are just not loading it properly, and trying out different loading options. We've only had it for a week at this point. Exterior finish does seem to show dirt and fingerprints, and not as easily cleaned as our old washer with a painted front.

This dishwasher cleans the dishes well, but they are always dripping wet and not dry at all afterwards.

This is a great dishwasher. It holds a lot more than our previous one with the improvement of having the silverware tray on the outside of the bottom tray. The top tray also slides up or down if you have tall items to place on the top rack, which is nice. I also like the controls along the top because I have a very curious 11 month old and I feel that places the controls much more out of his reach. In terms of function, the dishwasher works well, cleans our dishes as expected, and it relatively quiet.

The most important feature to me, for selecting this dishwasher, was that the silverware holder was located on the door (not in the racks). We tend to fill the lower rack and need every inch of space for plates and more. It didn't hurt that this newer version has an extra sprayer for that silverware holder. This washer replaced our former Whirlpool dishwasher that lasted for 15+ years. I will say that the racks in this washer do not seem as sturdy as our previous machine but I like that the top rack can be adjusted to a lower position to allow for taller items if needed. So far, I have found that some or our items that were not fully rinsed prior to loading were still "dirty" at the end of the normal cycle. The wash cycle time takes much longer with this updated version but it is much quieter than our previous machine. Also, the machine is very wet inside after a cycle even with heat dry selected but the items inside are not as wet luckily. I am also a fan of the adjustable time delay for starting the wash cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this to replace the same model, from 11 years ago. We are quite impressed with the quality of wash as well as the quiet operation. This is a vast improvement from our old dish washer and, for the price, it is superb.

I wrote about the rinse aid cap getting a vacuum so you can't open it at all (Dec 5th). Now, the sprayer under the upper rack keeps falling off. Bad design elements unfortunately.

We've had this now for a little more than two and a half weeks so it's getting 5 stars, but we have a long way to go. However, it's like a SMART dishwasher. It is put them in, turn it on, and see you later. It senses the loads automatically so you don't need to figure out how long it will take. It's roomy. It even has a dedicated space for wine glasses which is a major GOOD feature for us :} It makes your dishes and silverware SHINE! I mean sparkling. And, perhaps the greatest thing of all, you can't even tell it's running. It's super quiet. We used have to turn our TV's up majorly loud to hear things over it. NOW, we turn the TV's down. That's how quiet :} And the price reflects all of this. It was the BEST Whirlpool on Consumer Report's list of dishwashers. And it's a mid-range priced. Plus, installation was a breeze. Under an hour the guys came in, took the old one out, put this in, and were done. Super professional!

We've been slowly updating one appliance at a time, all with the new Whirlpool Gold pieces. This dishwasher is such a vast improvement from our old one that we have been running loads just to see what it will clean; it has yet to disappoint. You cannot even tell this thing is on, as it's incredibly quiet, and it's cleaning power is far superior to other models. Could not be happier with this purchase, especially considering the price of comparable models.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had the dishwasher for a month and seems to work just fine. Just needed a dishwasher without all of the bells and whistles.

Great price, works great. Our 1st load did not dry on "Sensor" setting and "Heat Dry". I read the instructions and it said a "rinse aid" will improve drying performance. We tried again with a rinse aid and there was a HUGE difference. So far I've only used the Sensor/Heat Dry setting, the whole cycle takes about 3 hours but does a great job. Dishes come out clean, dry, and spot free. Couldn't ask for much more. There is an option for 1 hour cycle but it uses more water and energy. I've not yet felt the need to have my dishes done quickly so I haven't tried that mode.

And I love setting it to wash at night ready to un load in the am! Very pleased with the design & the look. It now completes our stainless appliances.

The product stopped working less than two weeks after we bought it. When I called the manufacturer they said they would send someone out to fix it but that we weren't covered under the warranty because we're a small business so we would have to pay for all the repairs ourselves. At no point in time when we made the purchase was this mentioned or made clear and definitely would have affected our decision in purchasing the appliance. I then spent the next four hours calling back and forth to the Home Depot and Whirlpool customer service and corporate numbers who kept telling me to call the other company who's fault it was until I finally got on the line with a service rep at Whirlpool who said she could help me then the call got disconnected. I am extremely upset 1. that we have to pay to repair a dishwasher that broke less than two weeks after we bought it and 2. that we we never informed that we would not be covered under the warranty because we're a business. I will avoid making any purchases in the future from Home Depot and Whirlpool.

I'm very happy with our new dishwasher. Having the silverware rack on the door gives us plenty of space for more dirty dishes inside. The best part is how quiet it is compared to the one we replaced it with. I work from home, so it's very nice to not have to stop the dishwasher from running when I have to get on a call.

Trying not to break the bank we settled on this model and we couldn't be happier. It is very quiet; not silent, but quiet enough to run while we are still in the kitchen. We can hardly hear it. The dishes come out clean and the glasses are spotless.
