I have used this for several weeks now. I bought a new 100' hose and it fits great. Re-winds with no problems. I may not give it 5 stars again if it doesn't last long and have to replace it.

received product via online order and the lid to the box was missing. Had to be inconvenienced to return to home depot during the Covid 19 stay at home recommendation. Now the product is no longer available. Very disappointed.

Don't waste your money, product is cheaply made, does not rewind as advertised . Very frustrating every time you have to rewind the hose. Nothing but headaches!

Just got it but have other products from Suncast that are good quality.

This is the only product that I could find that uses the water pressure to roll the hose back in after use. It makes using a long hose much less of a chore, when all you have to do to reel it in is to throw the lever and watch it work. However, you have to be sure that you have enough water pressure, which means that a well pump may not produce enough pressure to work well. Also, while this product works well when water pressure is adequate, the construction is rather flimsy. I have always had two of them at my house, and their average life span is only 3, sometimes 4 years, with just moderate use. The unit has to be anchored to the ground to work well, since it has to be held firmly down to the ground to be able to pull the hose out. The anchors provided with the unit are much too flimsy, and I have had to fashion more substantial anchors from metal rods, or wooden stakes.

This is a GREAT product that works SO well. We also have an electric model from the same manufacturer. The hydro power model is far superior - its smaller and seems more rugged. The only caveat is it must be installed in a location where the water used to drive the hose reel can drain.

I'm so disappointed in the quality of this product. I purchased this for my wife and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread, unfortunately it's such a cheap quality product I know it's not going to last. 1 week in after 3 uses I've added screws to keep it together and fought with it more than enjoyed it. It was a great invention until they made it from crap plastic. I thought Home Depot would keep crap like this off their shelves, guess I was wrong.

The first year it worked okay, though it fought the hose at all times. There was NO TIME that it worked well. Second season did it in. This product is not durable at all The primary drive reduction gear is held in place with a thin plastic disk, and it popped off and went missing in the tan bark. Now I have a rather pricey, but useless hose reel. Suncast doesn't offer replacement parts on this other than the hose attachment parts. Poor customer service as far as I am concerned.

This is our second one and so far so good !!

The concept of the hose reel is good but application not so much. It wasn’t until I got it that I found out you have to secure the reel to ground or something. Also a lot of water is wasted when reeling in unless you’re able to capture the runoff which isn’t always practical.

I have 75' of hose, and the cabinet expanded on rewind and the cogs slipped off the rewind mechanism. After a quick look, I could see what the problem was - no support between sides on the bottom. Figured any replacement would be the same so devised my own. Took 10 minutes and it works great now. Do remember to anchor it down so pulling out the hose is easy. Really like the ease of rewind for us older folks!

Replaced a unit that was broken and 8 years old. I like this new unit so well, I'm purchasing another to replace the 8 year old unit in my back yard. For an elderly person with health issues, this product makes rewinding a garden hose as easy as pushing a lever!

Excellent quality . Wouldn’t say it was easy to assemble , we had our gardener do it .

Received in good order. Works as expected. This is my 4th Suncast. They last about 4 to 5 years. Mine are always out of doors 24/365.

It is what we wanted

This was a replacement Hose Reel that I had owned for over 10 years.. I love the auto rewind feature. The only drawback is the plastic leaver that controls the rewind feature. It should be made a little tougher..

We are liking the autowind hose reel. Easy instructions and easy to put together. We didnt anchor it into the ground as it's on a patio but it definitely works well.

This is an excellent product but needs a much stronger anchoring system.

The hose would continually get caught in the wonder after 30-40ft. Leaks everywhere. Cheaply made. Don’t waste your time
