this refrigerator seems to fluctuate both in the refrigerator and freezer compartments. i can never get consistant temperatures no matter if the fridge and freezer are full or half empty. my biggest pet peeve is cleaning bins and shelves...awful awful awful. i had something leak from the top shelf all the way down and the produce bins seem to have small holes in them which filled with the leaked material and i cannot clean. it looks beyond disgusting. the nooks and crannies that are inaccessible for cleaning are awful. never again would i buy a samsung refrigerator. all my other ones cleaned up nicely. very sad that these bins and shelves aren't sealed better.

I wasn't sure it it would hold my leftover tacos, AND my chocolate milk. To my success, I fit it all, and i dont have to bend down to get my margarita mix.

We bought this fridge a little over a year ago, and in the last few months: 1) it has stopped maintaining a consistent temperature, at times simply quitting cooling the fridge past 45° and needing to be fixed by resetting the breaker; we had to install a thermometer with an alarm to keep from losing more food. 2) we have had to replace one of the door bins (over $60), and two more are slowly coming apart - the design is terrible. 3) the inside bottom corner of one of the doors cracked (we have no idea how, it’s not in a place where anything falling out of the fridge could possibly hit it!) 4) a tiny part popped off of the ice maker, resulting in a mix of large stuck-together cubes and ice chips until we figured it out and managed to find it. It’s still producing lots of half-cubes and chips, but that’s been pretty consistent from the beginning. 5) the bottom fridge drawer repeatedly pops out of its track, resisting all attempts to fix it. 6) the water dispenser button broke, also needing to be replaced (and also a terrible design!) Every fix or patch we’ve done has been with the $80 cost of a warranty visit in mind, but it’s quickly exceeded that anyway. Very much wishing we’d gone with a higher end model in the beginning!

Freezer handle broke off and it's a non serviceable part. I'm handy but couldn't figure how to repair so called Samsung. They put me in contact with Samsung repair vendor. $125 for service call that would go toward the repair, so I was told. Samsung Care arrived and right away told me it was a non-serviceable part because it brook in the door panel and entire door would need to be replaced for $487 with labor. No thanks. Out $125 for service call. Handle is very poorly engineered with the cheapest construction. Plastic is extremely thin for something used to open the freezer door. If I paid the $487 it would just break again. Have owned firdge less than two years. We returned the fist fridge of this model because the freezer wouldn't automatically defrost. Now, with less than two years of ownership the handle broke outside of warranty period. Samsung is better at making phones and tablets than appliances.

I love this refrigerator because the internal water dispenser saves so much room in the doors of the fridge! The dual doors make it easy to put things in/out, there is SO much space for food, and there's a collapsible option in one of the shelves for extra storage! The ice machine works perfectly. The installation was quick and the techs new exactly what they were doing when it came to the installation. They were in and out of my house in less than one hour! The product is phenomenal and this investment has definitely improved my home. I highly recommend this product.

Had nice Samsung TV so gave this refrigerator model a try in late 2014, right off the start the fridge was not cold enough and freezer too cold, called for useless service and they said that is how they are that they cycle themselves. After 2 years it started to freeze at the coils behind back panel in fridge and has done so since every 4-6 months since, I schedule my own service to take this apart and defrost with a hair dryer every 4 months. Samsung has denied the problem and said I have to pay for service and parts, there is a class action law suit on this problem since 2012 and wish I had seen that before purchase, its a design flaw it can't be fixed just have to self defrost every couple months. After Samsung response fair to say I won't purchase any of there products, if they don't stand behind the products they make I don't want any of them..

It's a beautiful slate black color. It goes perfect with my other appliances. The only thing I've observed slight noise when the ice falls into the bin. Overall it is huge in size and compartments.

Nice frig, lots of space in frig part, freezer part smaller than I thought.

One star - keeps the food cold; but only buy this refrigerator if you want to constantly replace door bins. Oh, and Samsung does not cover after 1 year of ownership, so don't even bother with customer service. Instead you'll need to spend $60 every time one goes down (normally with a mess as the food in it will be all over the floor). Oh, and don't let anything touch the exterior - it dents when you look at it. Skip Samsung and go for another brand.

I'm so happy with my new refrigerator! I added the optional inside water dispenser. It saves space and works well (no messy tray) once you get tue hang of the angle. The handles are sleek cleanable plastic. The party tray drawer really fits a party tray with a lid! The freezer is easy to organize. It is a little slow on hpw mich ice it makes per day but its enough for us. If we had a party I'd have to go buy ice. Other than that, excellent!

Had to remove the doors to get it in the house but fridge is really nice .

We’ve only had this fridge for a few weeks but I love it. The interior water dispenser is great. And the fridge itself is quiet.

This fridge is great but is very noisy, especially if you have headaches or migraine you will hear every noise this refrigerator makes, even if you are hangover you will suffer from this noise. It starts making a regular sound like any other fridge and then after 3 minutes is when it starts making the noise, is like a running fan making a contact with a PIECE OF METAL.

We have had this refrigerator for 3 weeks now and are very pleased with it overall. Beforehand we read reviews that the unit was noisy but it only has a low hum and gets a bit louder for about 30 seconds when it makes ice. Love the internal water dispenser! Perfect pressure and It does not leak!

Love it owned a Samsung before in white also same 3 door with internal water dispenser and when we moved stayed with the same type unit but this one is much better. Very pleased with this model.

I love that there is such more space than my side-by-side, and I don't feel "cramped" when I'm trying to put things inside! Also, like that I can see everything that I have in there without any obstructions!

This refrigerator is amazing! It's very roomy inside and I love the deli drawer. Everything is easily accessible and my back is happy I don't have to hunch over to grab things I need. We bought this refrigerator for the size and style and were delighted to find it had interior water which we now use frequently. I don't think the reserve tank is huge, so the water isn't always cold, but it tastes great! It is very quiet. I have yet to hear it make ice and we've had it for about a month. I am very, VERY happy! Especially since it seems everyone has something bad to say about every refrigerator.

Love it. We had the other model - ice and water in door - and rarely used the upper ice maker and water dispenser and found it to be messy while taking up almost a quarter of the usable space in the fridge. The water dispenser on the inside panel and ice maker in the bottom are perfect. Great looking unit as well.

We purchased this refrigerator, in the black stainless fingerprint resistant finish, approximately a month and a half ago, and with its stainless steel-colored handles, it blends in great with my all-stainless appliances, two of which have black tinted windows. My favorite feature, hands-down, is the internal water dispenser, which very quickly delivers cold, filtered water at the press of a button. To me, the internal water makes so much more sense than the kind on the outside of the door-- the water is COLD when it comes out (the water that came out of my friend's outside-the-door water dispenser was just cool, nowhere near cold), and little ones aren't tempted to push buttons or put their hands all over things they can't see ;). There are the occasional loud popping noises mentioned by others- usually only once or twice a day. The pops vary in the degree of loudness. They are most often equally as loud as those emitted by our 2011 K*nmore El*te, but occasionally they are loud enough to make me jump if the house is totally quiet. However, I believe that the popping has decreased in volume in the past two weeks, so perhaps the materials of the fridge are getting used to expanding, over time. The motor is no louder than the one in my old fridge, but it has a different sort of sound to it, so for the first few weeks, I'd check to see if someone was coming up our driveway when it kicked on. I've since gotten used to it, and it's no longer even noticeable. The ice machine in the freezer makes less noise than my old machine did, so all in all, as far as noise goes, this fridge and the old one are about equal at this point. This fridge has better lighting, however, than did the old one, and far more little features as far as convenience and space, that all add up to make this a great fridge. If there's one thing I'd change, it's the top shelf adjustment. I think they need to add another row of brackets, so the uppermost shelf could be moved up another couple of inches. I do like the one center shelf that has a split, so you can push half of it back to make room for a tall item-- I never thought I'd use it, but I've used it a number of times already, and we've only owned it for <2 months. I also like that I can open each of the 2 veggie/fruit drawers with only one outer door open-- with my old fridge, I had to have both outer doors open to open either of these drawers. I can also access the items in the very front of the wide bottom drawer by lifting up on the drawer's handle, without having to open both doors and pull the drawer out. I could not do that with my old fridge-- I had to open both doors, then slide out the wide drawer in order to access anything inside. Lastly: This fridge is heavier than my old one, BUT it is easier to roll in and out of its spot, so that I can vacuum under it every week, and the back of it as needed. I'm quite happy with this purchase, and will recommend this refrigerator to others.

It is a good refrigerator. I would not recommend the stainless steel version, though. It scratches VERY easily. It is coated stainless steel, so you can't repair it either. Other than attempting to clean it with a baking soda/water mix, there is nothing you can do to get scratches out. I'm not talking big scratches either, I'm talking about tiny, hairline scratches. Samsung has very bad customer support as well. You are very lucky if you can even understand the support person. Even if you can understand the support person, they have no idea what they are talking about. I think you can buy a new door, but the prices on replacement parts are ridiculous. One of the handles, for instance, will set you back almost 100 dollars. I can't imagine what a new door would cost.

Absolutely loved everything in this fridge from space to color finishing, no regrets at all paying 100 more for the black stainless steel, no finger prints, loved having hiding water dispenser and ice maker without kids messing with dispenser all the time!!

I absolutely love the look and space of this refrigerator. We haven't hooked up our icemaker and water dispenser yet so I can't comment on those features. The inside of the fridge is plenty large and the movable shelves are great and easy to move. I love the deli drawer that you can adjust the temp on. We have the black stainless and the look is great while also keeping kid fingerprints off. There is one thing I'll mention that kept me from rating this 5-stars. The fridge has the most irritating popping sound. After googling it, we found out it's a common problem but requires a technician to fix. A quick fix but apparently difficult to get someone out to fix. I would suggest reading the google reviews and see if this would keep you from getting the fridge. Other than the popping, I love the fridge. [Now I need to update the rest of my kitchen!]

We had this fridge for less than a year before it literally started to fall apart. We had purchased the extended warranty so I called Samsung, and Home Depot but they both said that it was classified as cosmetic and the warranty doesn't cover anything cosmetic. It looked good for about a year but unless you want broken plastic on your floor every time you open the door and and ugly looking fridge after a year I would stay well away from this one.

Samsung is a reliable manufacturer and this is a great refrigerator. I have had this fridge for about two months and it is super spacious! I previously had a similar Samsung french door fridge with water and ice through the door, but I sold it with my house. We owned it for five years but really didn't use the ice and water too often, so this new model seemed like a reasonable trade-off considering the price. Turns out to be MUCH more space in the fridge after moving water and ice out of the door. There is still chilled water, but on an interior wall and ice is in the freezer. Shelves are easy to move and door storage easily accommodates your largest items. Water filter is easily accessible. Temp and operational displays are plainly visible. One caveat; this fridge is noisy. My last one made virtually no noise. I read reviews and didn't understand what folks were trying to say, but believe it! There is like a motorized whirring that is fairly loud and runs a majority of the time. If you can deal with that, then this fridge is fantastic! However, if a droning noise would bother you, then keep looking. For us, this is wonderful refrigerator and I would buy it again.

I've only had this fridge for about a month now and so far it's great. I purposely didn't get the version that had the water/ice dispenser in the door because I've read they encounter more problems then those without. There is a water dispenser on the inside of the left door and that is all I need. As for space this fridge is about the same size as my previous side by side door (fridge on one side, freezer on other) but feels ten times bigger. It's also much better lit. Some people have complained about noise of ice maker and ice overflowing bucket. Yes there is some noise when it drops ice into your bucket then for a couple seconds you can hear water flowing into ice making area to reset but the whole process is all of 5 seconds and doesn't bother me at all. The ice bucket has never over-flowed. The delivery guys were AMAZING! I was thinking either my front door or sliding glass door were going to have to be removed to get the fridge into the house. They used straps and easily climbed my deck stairs to the second (main) floor and simply slid the freezer door out, opened both fridge doors and curved the fridge through the opening. They then proceeded to hook up the new fridge remove all the protective plastic and hauled my old one away. Super quick and professional.

Contrary to many of the other reviews "high star" reviews, I'd like to make sure that I mention something other than the looks of the fridge. It's a nice, big fridge. I moved from a GE standard fridge at 23.7 cu. ft. from 1993 to this one. It takes a bit of getting used to looking down for the freezer stuff. Other than that, the inside of the fridge is well lit, with good interior space. Positives: LED Lighting really shines nicely and gets in all the nooks and crannies. The shelves for the door and main section are easily movable and you can fit most items in this fridge. I have the Sterilite 1 gallon pitchers for tea and lemonade or kool-aid and all of those fit nicely. A little tough to fit a bottle of Sour mix (due to how tall that it is), but the shelves, again are easily adjustable and things fit in beautifully. The Freezer is large, with a good storage area. The shelf that slides out for most things is good and negates having the feel of a chest freezer so you don't have to feel like you are digging in the Arctic to find food at the bottom of a glacier. The fridge and freezer both cool quickly. Negatives: When you open up the freezer, the ice sometimes drops 1 or more pieces of ice down under the fridge. Now it falls onto the fridge itself and so it doesn't get on the floor under the unit, but to me this is a concern with whether or not there might be condensation, etc from the ice melting slowly. It's not a huge concern, but it is something to consider. The ice machine also seems to fill slowly. BUT this might also be that I'm used to a smaller container of ice which 'seemed' to fill faster. With regard to the fridge itself, I decided not to get an in door water and ice dispenser as the reason I'm buying a fridge is to store food, etc. I can open the freezer and get my own ice (that doesn't fall down) and the faucet is, like, right over there. I did, on the suggestion of my friend, get the fridge with a water dispenser unit in the left wall of the interior of the fridge. This functions. It's close to the shelves, and it is recessed in the wall a bit so a larger bottle or glass will not put enough pressure on the button to activate the water flow. You also have to keep the door open when you use it. Be that as it may, it's nice to have. Note, when you first get this fridge, make sure you run it a bit (2-3 gallons) else every time you use it and sometimes when you don't it will leak into the fridge itself. All in all, I wish I'd saved the $50 and gotten the fridge without the spigot, but that's on me. Now, to address some issues that others seem to have mentioned. When I was reading posts and reviews about this, (and being the researching fool that I am, I read these AFTER I purchased them) I was worried about "clicks" and "pops" and the sounds of thousands of buffalo barrelling over hills in vast herds about to run me over. Yeah. No. Apparently people who wrote these things have never had a fridge that uses an ice maker, etc. When the ice drops, there's noise. Not a lot of noise, but you hear it. When the water turns on to fill the ice maker, you hear that water run. It's like hearing your clothes washer run in the basement, when you are upstairs. That's about as loud as it is, if even that. All in all, it's a great product. No problems with it so far and I've had it for a month and a half or so now. Oh, and it's absolutely gorgeous. Had to say it.

I bought this model back in Oct 2013. It's big and has lot of space for storage. The ice maker is noisy and sometimes does scare my family who thought that there were someone knocking on the wall or trying to break in. But, overall it's okay. Recent;y, the gaskets on both french doors have started to curl out. Hence, it's not tightly sealed. I can hear hissing sounds every time after I shut the doors. Not sure if the gasket replacement will be covered by warranty or not. I just hope that my electricity bill will not be spiking up.
