Fridge started falling apart week after buying
the fridge had parts break off a week after buying it! samsung said they couldn't fix or replace so offered to refund (after weeks of me calling) then are now not going to. 100 % horrible. they also continue to delete my reviews. so sad cuz i loved samsung products. never again.

    A Menagerie of Failing Parts
    every part of this fridge is now failing. the shelves were the first to break (all of them including the deli drawer). now, after 5 years, the compressor struggles to cool and the control board is now kaput. the fridge will not accurately report temperatures and i had to put in a separate thermometer since the fridge was 15 degrees off of the correct temp! i don't think the next fridge will be a samsung.

      This fridge makes a very loud noise every 15 minutes of the day, if we go open the door and shut it it usually shuts off, but how annoying. It’s not the ice maker either, it’s just the fan of the fridge. Home Depot won’t let us get a refund and Samsung said we have to pay for someone to come out and look at it. Are you kidding me? You sold me a fridge that makes a loud noise every 15 minutes and you want me to pay you to come out and look at it? Great customer service.

        Beware of Shelves
        we have had our refrigerator for just 2 years, so out of the warranty window but now we have had two of the door shelves crack right in half across the bottom and spill all of its contents over the floor. we are not hard on our refrigerator at all and just use it normally. they were even on the side of the refrigerator that we use the least. i tried to contact samsung to get them replaced but the shelves are super expensive and they are not willing to help. i feel like they just make products that just outlast the warranty and then just shrug their shoulders and don't help.

          Samsung doesn't stand behind their product
          this new refrigerator was delivered to our home on june 2nd. literally 2 weeks after we started using it stopped cooling, the freezer. the repair company samsung assigned to us needed to order parts for repair (1.5-2 weeks). by july 17th, have heard nothing from repair center, so i called samsung for help and was told that all parts were not in. i asked for a replacement or refund and they said no because product was not "defective". since then the refrigerator portion has also stopped working. it is now the 26th of july and i still have no working frig or freezer in the house. worst service ever!!! last samsung product i will ever purchase. i really just want my money back at this point, but with samsung i doubt that will ever happen.

            Warranty expired now it broke.
            warranty expired 1 year ago. now it won't cool properly or hold a temp.

              Bad things: Deli drawer gets off track easily. You need to open and close it just right, which is hard to do when holding food in one hand. Ice from ice maker in freezer falls behind the drawer and someone needs to lay flat on the floor with a long spoon to get the fallen cubes out.Good things: Love the water dispenser inside. Keeps the food nice and cold, which is the best thing ever. Makes ice quickly. Quieter than I expected. Shelving is good. Feels sturdy and well made.

              bought this samsung 26 cu ft. french door refrigerator with filtered ice maker in white on june 2020 this is a very loud refrigerator from start to finish, my 10 years old refrigerator is way quieter. ( very embarrassed when family members and friends asking about the noise) it looks like this is a common problem with samsung refrigerators.

MY RECOMMENDATION IS WHAT THE SAMSUNG TECHNICIAN TOLD ME "BUY GE" DEAR SAMSUNG AMBASSADOR UNLESS YOU WANT TO REPLACE THIS REFRIGERATOR NO NEED TO RESPOND. NO I WOULD NOT LIKE TO WASTE ANOTHER HOUR ON THE PHONE AND WASTE MONEY ON ANOTHER TECHNICIAN VISIT.

                  i've owned the refrigerator less than 2 years. it is now making a loud buzzing noise. i searched the internet and found that this is a common problem with samsung refrigerators. it's caused by ice build up around the fan. there are videos on how to fix this problem but it's not an easy fix for the average consumer. samsung should have fixed this design flaw years ago.

                    Don't buy a Samsung fridge they are junk!!!
                    I bought this fridge new and installed it in a new construction home on 8/2017. Since then I have had ice build up under deli drawer the needs to be defrosted ever few months. I have had numerous repairs done for the fridge and freezer not keeping consistent temps. The last repair was done Dec. 23 2019 when the compressor was replaced. June 2020 freezer is not freezing and fridge is not keeping stuff cold again. I am done with Samsung forever!! I am out the cost of the fridge, $400 in repairs and over $400 in lost food. Home Depot should stop selling these fridges with known defects!!!! Look on Face Book for a group called Samsung recall to see thousands of the same complaints.
