The ice maker has not worked since the day it was delivered. Samsung has issued a ticket for a replacement after our second service call the second week after purchase but it has now been a month with no replacement. Not a very happy person.

Great interior layout with flip up shelf for tall items. Love the enclosed icemaker that doesn't allow ice to pick up orders. Great lighting and excellent storage bins. Much lower energy usage that my old side by side. Definitely would buy again and home depot delivery service was excellent.

    We upgraded the appliance in the office kitchen. Layout of the fridge and adjustable shelves works well for the staff. Sufficient space for lunches. Freezer handle flexes to open, this is a good feature. Water and ice maker are very handy, we now cancelled cold water deliveries for the office.

    I've had this fridge for about 3 months now. Works great as a fridge however few obvious things that you expect from a brand such as Samsung definitely disappoint you for example - Water drips after you use use the water dispenser - Freezer drawer hinges freeze - On arrival one of the shelve's hinge was cracked due to poor plastic - Hard to remove bottom shelf for cleaning purpose after milk bag leaked - Doors creak when opening and closing - The left door's inner flap does not always align with the right door and has to be manually aligned

      The ice dispenser in my 2 year old fridge freezes over to the point where it no longer makes or dispenses ice. I have to manually defrost it every month.The maker/dispenser also takes up a lot of space in my fridge. This is a very common problem that Samsung is aware of but will not issue a recall to address.

        This Refrigerator is JUNK! We have owned it for 4 years and have been unhappy with it from Day 1. First it came with scratches in the door and shortly after that the large tray cover broke, then the ice maker started freezing up. We called Samsung who sent a rep over. He looked the issues and said he would replace them and never came back or contacted us. That was over 3 years ago. We called Samsung again and were told unless we had an Extended Warranty we were on our own. Now there is an odor coming from it that regardless how much we clean it, it doesn't go away. DON'T BUY SAMSUNG OR THIS REFRIGERATOR!

          Ice maker sucks and they know it
          I have had this refrigerator for over 3 years. Have had 2 new ice makers installed. Still have to take a hair dryer and thaw it out every few weeks. Have had repairmen out several times. At this moment the ice maker is iced up. And the back of the refrigerator is icing up and will need to be defrosted. Don't buy it. Please research first. You will find more like me.

            Ice maker stopped working after 2 weeks
            Literally 2 weeks to the day, after delivery of our brand new Refrigerator, the ice maker stops working. I was so pleased with the salesman that helped us in store, the delivery men were awesome and the first two weeks of ownership went without a hitch. Now 2 days before Christmas, this is what I have to deal with. I will Never buy another Samsung appliance again.

              Ice Maker DEFECTIVE
              I bought a Samsung French door fridge/freezer in 2013, and from early on, the in-door ice maker regularly freezes up. I will totally defrost it manually and it will work for a week or two, then it freezes right up again. There is an alleged "fix" (replacing half of the parts in the ice compartment) but it does not work for most people. Before buying this fridge, PLEASE educate yourself. A quick google search will show you thousands of customers with the same problem, and a pending class action lawsuit because Samsung has refused to address the issue. This issue has NOT been fixed in the newer models, there are lots of accounts of French door Samsungs purchased in the last few months suffering from this same defect. Best bet is not to buy Samsung French door fridges until they get this issue entirely resolved.

                Terrible Product
                This fridge has a known defect where the evaporator freezes up and the fan begins to hit the ice making a terrible noise. Home Depot needs to stick up for their customers and demand Samsung fix this issue or stop selling this product.

                  Do not buy this fridge! Ice maker freezes up every two to three weeks. Had a spill on the shelf and had to you tube a video to take apart the shelf to clean. Will never by a Samsung appliance again

                        Purchased this refrigerator in July 2019, along with the 5 year Home Depot Protection Plan. On October 24, 2019, the freezer compartment completely stopped working. The digital temperature panel is blinking and won't stay put on a specific number. Put in a claim service through Samsung, and the technician made an in home service visit on 10/30/19. According to the service technician, the compressor needs to be completely replaced. It's very disappointing that a fridge at this price point is already malfunctioning less than 4 months after purchase.
