Great so far
We had this unit delivered and installed about 2 weeks ago. So far it has been great with no problems. Very nice refrigerator and the ice maker and water in the door is quite nice as well.

very dissapointing
this product worked great for about 2 years than the freezer went out and thankfully i bought the extended warranty so got that fixed and less than a year later it went out again,, never again will i buy a samsung appliance bc something similar happened with my oven

    Disappointed
    The refriderator is only 5yrs old and we are having continued issues with the fan freezing up and making a loud noise and the ice maker freezing up and not working. Very disappointed!

        Good fridge, crappy ice maker
        No problems with the fridge, but the ice maker is crap. It freezes up and has to be thawed by hand. It's expensive to fix so not worth the expense. Had it since 2017 so it should last longer than this.

          Terrible ice cube maker!
          I purchased this refrigerator about a year and a half ago, it worked wonderful in this time span, but now the ice maker,which never worked right , now doesn’t work at all. The ice maker never made cubes; just ice dust. I had another refrigerator which lasted 16 years and never a problem. An ice maker is not a new addition. It should work more than a year. Bad engineering!!

            Terrible and frustrated
            i have very disappointed in this fridge with samsung. i had it for over three years and it is giving me a headache and two problems again and again. the ice maker gets ice build all in it and the back panel gets ice build up and makes loud, i mean very loud noises. when we open door then it stops. this is the third time this has happened. samsung needs to give a recall or some type of refund to get a new fridge.

              Huge Disappointment for a Loyal Samsung Customer
              i've been a loyal samsung customer for years, i've had a galaxy phone since they first came out, i have a samsung tv so of course when my old fridge went out in october of 2016 i purchased this refrigerator and loved it for the first year. in october of 2017 as soon as my warranty expired, the ice maker started freezing over and stopped making ice. i have had it serviced, the repairman said that i had made a huge mistake with purchasing this fridge. he said that they were known for icemaker problems. he was able to thaw the froze over icemaker and it worked for awhile. then stopped completely. ive used a portable ice maker and dumped it into the bucket so i could continue to have ice from the door. now it has froze completely and the ice bucket will not come out.

                Terrible ice maker
                the problems with the ice maker started just after barely 3 years of using the refrigerator, a technician came in 4 times already, we spent hundreds of dollars in repairs and the ice maker keeps building up ice and stops working. youtube is full of videos of people showing the problem. i would seriously doubt we will buy a samsung refrigerator again.

                  this product has well known frozen icemaker issue, entire facebook group dedicated to the issue. constantly frozen solid, defrost and same thing in a week! i own samsung oven and dishwasher with no problem, but would not recommend any samsung appliance until samsung steps up and recalls/ replaces/ refunds these refrigerators! repairs do not resolve and not a long term solution.

                          New fridge, ice maker consistently unreliable
                          bought a new house with all samsung appliances. ice maker froze up 4 months in, defrosted it, then found out it freezes up every 2 months. i use the defrost feature of the fridge yet the problem continues to plague the fridge. this fridge was not cheap, sad that something simple like ice cannot be trusted to work.

                            Dont buy a Samsung.
                            Bought a samsung RF263BEAEWW 2 years ago. Ice maker went out after about a year. Bought a replacement for almost $300.00 it lasted about 8 months. Now it leaks water at the filter connection (Ive only used Samsung filters) the water freezes underneath the "cool select pantry drawer which is a pain to pull the drawer out once it does freeze. Water pressure is within factory recommendations. Ive been an hvac technician since 1980. I spoke with some friends of mine who are in appliance repair, they all said the same thing. They asked me for the make and model number. As soon as I say Samsung they say "theres your problem, dont buy refrigerators from and TV manufacturer. I promise I wont make this mistake again! And yes I do realize the model I have isn't the exact model as the one above.

                                The doors are very thick and do not open very wide, so jamming a drawer into a door is a constant thing. The drawers are going to have to break at some point... well before I'm ready to go refrigerator shopping again. The spacing of the shelves/spacing options are awkward. Where are you supposed to put a gallon of milk? I know, I know, the door... but then it goes bad really fast. While loading it for the first time, I kept wishing I could have hauled my groceries into a store and tried it out. I guess we have abnormal groceries? I'm not finding a lot of intuitive storage in it, other than deli supplies in the wide bottom drawer and veggies in an upper one. The flapper lid on the bottom wide drawer is SUPER flimsy. It jams in the open position at least half of the time. (I think the only times it closes are when you try to show someone how it jams open.) No way is this door going to make it into the new year (arrived mid August). It's always in the way/open/jamming and needing to be hand-closed. Also, I find it inconvenient to have to open both doors full width to open one drawer. The depth of the drawer is pretty good though: single layer only, nothing can hide under anything else... however we keep losing things in the back. This thing reaches back forever! The ice maker drawer is nearly impossible to remove. Is there a hidden latch?!? It's a 50/50 gamble as to whether or not you'll be able to open it. ...Which, you're going to keep trying to do, because the ice dispenser dispenses pretty slowly, making filling that pitcher an all-nighter. Peeling off the protective film was rather a pain (the whole family took turns), what with not being able to pull it out of all the edges/attachments. That's a one-time thing though, so no big deal. I like the lighting! The refrigerator is nice and big too, although that does make it really deep (hey, the space has to be somewhere, right?!). I don't think this one is going to last anywhere nearly as long as the cost merits. Rats. I was hoping for a 'true-love-forever-and-ever' thing. Or at least 7-10 years. I'm hoping my predictions for drawer-life are very wrong. Maybe I'm wrong and we can have a long and fairly content life together? I'd recommend seeing this in person and visualizing how your normal groceries will fit... something I'll do myself in the future! We ordered online, sight unseen.
