WORTHLESS...
Back of the fridge had frozen over, had it repaired, less than 6 months later it happens again. This fridge isn't even 4. years old. No wonder it was discontinued. I'd like a refund!

    Fridge won’t stay cool
    fridge worked well at first. but then ice built up on bottom of fridge under the deli drawer, now it won’t stay at the temp we set it to. we set is at 34*, check after several hours and it would be at 44*, this morning it was 50*.

      Ice maker sucks
      i bought this model specifically for the bottom freezer ice maker. what a disappointment! the short version of my issue is that my ice cubes have never been solid. they break apart. i might get 2 or 3 solid ones and the rest just crumble. we had a technician come out and he said that our ro wasn’t supplying enough water. we fixed that problem so all the ice cube molds fill to the the top. guess what…same problem! i am better off filling up ice cube trays. they freeze solid and don’t break apart.

        Absolutely awful
        Purchased a little over a year ago. The French door flapper broke, the freezer handle broke, the ice maker works when it wants to. Often have to unplug it and let it sit a while as it will stop cooling. Last fridge was a Samsung as well, trash.

          No grill guard
          the refrigerator works great. i can’t believe there isn’t a front grill guard to stop things from rolling underneath the fridge such as childrens toys, pet toys, etc grill guards have come with refrigerators for years. very inconvenient to keep getting things out from underneath the fridge.

            Do NOT BUY
            Hello, 6 months after buying my fridge in 2019 it stopped cooling. It's about 45-55 degrees at all times and when it first happened my kids and our whole family got sick from spoiled milk and food. Water runs down the back of the fridge (inside) and i have to clean out about 3 gallons weekly. Home Depot refused to work with us to replace the fridge. Stay away from all SAMSUNG appliances.

              Ice Maker issues
              first: icemake water fill over flows, and wets the ice in the tray below, causing it to freeze all the ice made into a single block of ice.. you need a hammer to break it up, or toss it.. unreliable, no way to adjust it so the ice cubes are a tad smaller and don't over flow. second; lower crisper drawer doesn't track smoothly unless you apply a slight downward pressure.. replaced the drawer, same problem third: this finish is not fingerprint resistant.. and this finish will scratch very easily

                Does not last long
                I had this brand new refrigerator for 3 years and unfortunately I did not purchase any warrany. There is a major issue with the refrigerant tubing system and the repair will cost just as much as a new refeigerator. I have read about others who experienced the exact same issue with various Samsung models. Long story short: Stay away from Samsung refrigerators!

                  From day one
                  We have had this fridge for 6 years now and fed up! When we first got it the fan was hitting something so we called out the repair person, he saw the problem took pictures and Samsung refused to fix the it. Finally the blades wore down enough the noise stopped. Our freezer door handle has come off several times, simple fix. We have never hooked up the ice maker so no problems with that. Now when we open the freezer we need to make sure we make the right decision or the freezer door locks and we have to wait 15 minutes to open it again. There is a small condensing tube in the back of the fridge that freezes up and fills the bottom of the fridge then overflows onto our floor. We have to empty the fridge get a hair dryer and defrost the tube. The vegetable bin door seams collect pieces of food and cannot be cleaned without prying off the the fronts with a big screwdriver. Finger prints?! Ugh my husband has bought every product on the market but the finger prints are permanent so we resolved that problem buying a full refrigerator magnet which covers the entire fridge.

                    Had it just over 3 years and going to have to replace it. Will never purchase a samsung aplliance again as long as I live, and will not reccomend them to anyone else. I’m actively advising people to stay away from these appliances. Have a convection gas stove that have had nothing but problems with, also as soon as the warrenty ran out. Fantastic

                      Absolute piece of junk
                      This refrigerator had issues 3 months after purchase. I've had technicians come out 21 times over the last 4 years. Recently the seal system went out and its taken technicians 3 weeks to figure out I need a replacement. Samsung customer service is horrible. I was told I get an exchange but now they are issuing a refund which takes another 1 - 2 weeks. The Asurion from HD has been subpar also. This has been an all-around crappy experience with home depot and Samsung. DO NOT RECOMMEND any Samsung refrigerator. I am frustrated with the level of service from Home depot AND Samsung.

                        This refrigerator has been a nightmare. It works but every drawer, shelf has broken. It started as soon as I got it and bought the extended warranty but it doesn’t cover the interior. 3 years later and we need to replace it.

                          Worst refrigerator we have ever had
                          Do not buy this refrigerator. Ice maker broke after 2 years. Stopped making ice because the water line would freeze up in the back of the refrigerator. Water leaked into the fridge under the large platter tray forming a sheet of ice. Two shelves on the inside of the doors cracked and broke off after 4 years. Plastic piece on the top of the left door that helps seal the door when closing broke off. Now we have to pull out the long plastic piece that folds out to seal when closing. Overall, a piece of garbage. Very dissatisfied. Sadly, I told my mom to buy this fridge when we first got it. Her ice maker no longer works either and a piece of her door joint broke off two weeks ago. Never again buying anything Samsung.

                            Great refrigerator if you don't like ice
                            generally, the refrigerator does what it is supposed to do...keep things cold; however, we have now owned this unit for 15 months and the ice machine has broken twice. first time was just two weeks before end of warranty and now we have to shell out nearly $400 to fix it. there are online reviews all over the place discussing this issue. i wish i had seen them before making this purchase.

                              lots of room, and easy to configure the shelves etc to suit your needs. nice and bright when you open it. we haven't had any of the noise problems others have mentioned thankfully. it sits right behind the couch in our living room and we never notice it. the only 2 thimgs i don't care for much is 1- the wide vegetable/deli draw is a little flimsy and ours cracked a little in the front corner a few days after bringing it home, and the divider for that drawer just slides in a couple of grooves and is easy yo bump out of place. 2- the ice maker is slower to produce ice than we thought it would be. it cannot keep up with a family of 5.

                                  Have you ever defrosted a refrigerator?
                                  Ask your mom or grandmother how much fun it is to defrost a fridge. This fridge collects ice sheets under the produce drawers and our fridge is now going ice on the wall of the fridge. I'm talking about sheets of ice that are several inches thick. Sorry, but this is a deal breaker, and although I thought the fridge was a great value, I wouldn't have purchased it if I knew I would have to spend all day defrosting a frost free fridge.

                                    Do not buy... ice try overflows leaving ice cubes
                                    I bought this in May. The refrigerator itself is fine. It’s one small problem that is a nightmare. The ice cube try overfills and then spills out the back of the tray. The ice cubes gather in the bottom of the refrigerator and eventually spill on the floor when you open the freezer drawer It is very irritating and I cannot find a way to fix it other than turn the ice maker off.

                                                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i baught this refrigerator 01/05/218, on 09/11/209, loud noise was coming from the unit so i call a repair company to fix it, then june 23, the same problem. i did recommend this refrigerator to my sister & my neighbor and both have the problem. i'm real estate broker, so i always recomemed samsung appliance to my clients. this is not good for my buisness.
