    Guaranteed not to match!!
    This lesson was learned the hard way... when you decide to update your appliances, change ALL of them. Originally, we kept our refrigerator because it worked fine and looked almost new, even at 13 years old. (Whirlpool Gold - side by side) However it was black, we wanted all black stainless and this fridge was never going to quit! So, 2 years after the initial upgrades, we purchased this refrigerator in black stainless...The delivery was a nightmare. Our delivery date was Tuesday from 3pm-6 or so. The end of the delivery window came but no delivery, no call. At almost 10pm this guy calls, apparently the 3rd party delivery driver, to reschedule for SATURDAY! I didn't want to ruin my weekend waiting all day for a huge delivery window, just because these "professionals" overbooked and miscalculated. Nonetheless, the unit did arrive early Saturday morning and we didn't give the 2 guys a hard time, again, it's the people that schedule and have never delivered or setup anything that are to blame.They unwrapped it and as we were admiring it, we noticed it was a few shades lighter than our other 5 Samsung black stainless appliances. Of course, we had already signed and the delivery crew had left. The manager at our local store was very nice and even sympathetic. She offered to send the unit back and send out a different, identical unit. We had until the end of her shift to decide. We called a Samsung representative and they were not very helpful or empathetic, in fact one guy told us we had buyers remorse! It's possible he didn't fully understand the problem due to his heavy accent...We decided not to send the refrigerator back because they have obviously changed the film they use to achieve the black stainless effect. Yes, it is basically window tint, therefore it will scratch easily. We have a small nick on our dishwasher and we are always careful because we know it's prone to scratches. We like the French doors setup, and I don't miss the door water / ice dispenser. The unit is really loud at times. I'm not sure what function is happening, but it is unnerving the first few days. The doors on this model, especially the left one with the flap takes a lot of effort to close, so don't expect it to be smooth or gentle on any glass containers you put in the door shelves. I wish Samsung had designed the separate temperature tray as 2 sections, so it can be opened without having to open BOTH doors - not very efficient. It would even be Ok if you could lift the flap fully with one door closed. I do like the fact that the water filter is easy to access and not at the floor level. I also like the temperature controls at the top and it being a digital display. The freezer at the bottom takes some getting used to, but it's a good idea. What I don't agree with is Samsung only provides 1 divider for the bottom drawer, giving you 2 compartments. I purchased 2 more to make the space more useful with 4 compartments. I also think the sliding tray should also have a divider. Overall, a decent refrigerator. It's mostly quiet except for ice maker functions, or it could be a the compressor, but it's not often. I was upset at Samsung's "customer service" and disappointed with the "quality control" at their appliance factory. Lastly, the 3rd party delivery company soured our experience, but that's not Samsung's fault but Home Depot could/should sever that relationship.As a side point, the website needs some work. I had to download the app in order to leave a review. Twice, I was interrupted by the Helpful Video that popped up and took over my entire screen without touching it.

      So far so good. Seemed like a fair price. It was delivered quick, professionally, for free. I needed an ice maker but didn't want to take up space with an in-door water dispenser. Love the black stainless. I took a star off because the ice maker is slow compared to the old refrig I replaced. Maybe a couple lbs per day which doesn't go far in FL. I also was a little scared by some of the negative reviews so I bought the 5 year extended warranty. The slide out deli drawer seems a little flimsy and I can see that getting broken at some point. Apparently the extended warranty covers 50% of a replacement drawer.

      I bought this same model a year ago and I am extremely pleased with it. So new house new refrigerator same model bought in Nov. 2019. The door is messed up and drawers are hard to pull, and no service where I live. Promised replacement twice once on 12/27/2019, and again on 01/02/20120. No one has called or emailed except me (twice now with no response), phone is impossible to reach call center wait is hours long. Beware Home Depot selling appliances in areas that have no servicer will to work for Samsung. Replacement isn't working either so warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on. Good refrigerator too bad about follow up...

        We purchased this product to replace our current refrigerator. The amount of storage space in both the refrigerator and freezer was substantial, which included SIX shelves available on the french doors. Unfortunately within 14 months, all six doors broke - the warranty on the non-contained components (compressor, etc.) is one year. The broken drawers included the ones we used exclusively for butter/condiments (the least amount of load on the drawer). All six drawers broke in the same fashion and within months of each other. In contacting Samsung, they restated the warranty and suggested buying replacement parts. The total to replace the broken SHELVES is near $460, which is approximately HALF the cost of the appliance.

            we bought this refrigerator, less than 5 years ago. Did not buy ext warranty. It does not defrost right, ice build up, so loud, leaks water underneath the crisper, puddles of water. Have to manually defrost, still does nothing. I have a friend who fixes appliances, he came out twice. He tells me Samsung Refrigerators have defrost issues and that the repairman cannot fix it. So, I am stuck with this piece of junk and doubt the company will listen. I see there is a class action lawsuit with the models that have icemaker, same issue. Water, ice under crispers, does not defrost right. So disappointed and will never buy Samsung Refrigerator again.

                Put simply, do not even think about purchasing a Samsung refrigerator. The unit is not 4 years old, and for the past 18 months we've had to defrost it 6 times. If you don't have a backup refrigerator in the garage, you will wish you did. Ice dams in freezer (you have to silicone the back and side of the ice bin to keep refrigerator air out, which melts the ice and causes the dam). The back coil freezes over because the defrost heater coil is underpowered. Use a hair dryer for 3 hours, after emptying refrigerator, removing shelves and taking the unit out of service for at least 24 hours to unfreeze the coil. Replace parts, and it still doesn't work. The duck bill drains located on back of the fridge clog, and require cleaning. I've never had to do this in my 40 years of owning refrigerators- this caused water, and lots of it, to pool under the deli tray, and it sometimes freezes as well. So, in summary, it's a useless product. It's going straight to dump, I wouldn't even give it away when it leaves my home later this week. My trusty 20 year old Frigidaire will remain my backup in the garage.

                  We have owned this Samsung french door refrigerator for several years. So far it has run well. However, the plastic bins in the refrigerator section have had to be replaced twice at considerable expense. My major complaint is with the handle on the freezer door. The plastic part on the right side broke and I have learned that the entire freezer door would need to be replaced at a minimum cost of over $200 just for the part. Very poor design and poor quality of the part. If you take the time to read other buyer's comments, you will see many with the same complaint about the freezer door handle. Will not purchase Samsung in the future.

                    ice maker stopped working july 2018 the unit was purchased nov 2016. the unit began freezing up april 2019 and made horrible noises from ice build up.

So here I am writing this review after enjoying our fridge for 2years and 4 months. This fridge is huge and has enough flexibility with the split shelf, adjustable door bins, and ample produce and deli drawers to fit our ever-changing needs. It is well lit. Very happy not having in-door water/ice service...not needed as the appliance is only 3 feet from the sink area and we have great well water. Filter lasts a long time and not horribly expensive. Popping noise that some complained of lessened over time and now is rare. Still love this fridge.

                        It's a really nice looking refrigerator. Interior is well lit, adjustable shelving makes storage customizable, large capacity fridge and freezer to fit all your needs. My only complaints are that the refrigerator is a bit noisy and the ice bin in the freezer overflows and ice cubes fall behind the pull out basket in an area you cannot reach to retrieve the cubes. I'm used to a metal arm that comes down which prohibits additional ice cubes from dropping into a full bin. Almost everytime I open the freezer section upon closing it , it lets out a "sigh" Almost makes me want to apologize to it for opening it in the first place. I can hear my fridge running from the living room. Not crazy loud, but loud enough to hear it another room. My last fridge was very quiet. It suits it's purpose. Just glad I got it on sale otherwise I would have returned it at the $1700+ original price tag. I've had it for over 4 weeks and I can live with it but feel potential customers should be aware of these things prior to purchasing.

                        while the refrigerator actually runs well....nearly every plastic part inside has broken. I purchased it 3 years ago and slowly but surely the water dispenser, drawers, trays, ice maker, and bottom handle have all broken. Crazy! The Samsung said they pride themselves on quality but the cheaply made interior and their unwillingness to send replacement parts ( I was willing to put it back together myself) prompted me take time out of my day to write a poor review. If you buy it, keep your receipt/warranty info handy and plan on spending extra money/time to stay on top of the repairs as they come up.

                          The fridge initially makes really loud noises. After a week or so it got better. It is a fridge and it does its job so far. I've only had it a couple of weeks so we will see. I would not reccomend buying any appliances from Samsung though. Their customer service is insanely difficult to deal with. I've put in 4 or 5 calls over the same issue and keep getting the run around and keep getting told to call back in another 48-72 hours. I shouldn't have to keep calling them. As far as the features, the amount of light is nice. I can actually see everything inside. I like having the freezer on the bottom because nothing falls out and everything is easy to organize and see. I guess this fridge is ok if you don't care about customer service or if you don't plan on dealing with them for issues. Otherwise steer clear.

                            Don't trust their dimensions.
                            So we just got our fridge today at 8:30 am. Dimentions state that this fridge will fit a 36"opening but it does not. We have and opening that exceeds 36" and after working 2 hours and 30 minutes at grinding down extra space from cabinets, we still have not been able to fit it in our space. So it seems that the problem is that the walls of the fridge are so packed with what ever they put inside of them to insulate them makes the wall bubble out so this makes the fridge wider than 36". I hope we can work this down and that we end up loving this fridge, if we can't fit it I see a head ache coming up.
