I am so impressed by the Samsung quality of this refrigerator! It went over my expectations! Lots of room in the fridge portion and the freezer was bigger than I thought it would be.

We have had the refrigerator for just over two weeks now. I'm an older guy and the install was straight forward. I selected the model with no ice or cold water dispenser in the door, which freed up a lot of extra storage space. The ice tray in the lower compartment works fine for us, since we don't get into it very frequently. I like the temperature adjustment controls, but the "Ice Maker" on/off switch and indicator are a little confusing and almost impossible to read. We really like the internal lighting. The full width "Cool Select Pantry" tray clear cover has already been scratched by the bottoms of the two drawers above it. When this wide tray is pulled open, the tray cover is raised, then if one of the drawers above is also pulled open, the bottom of the drawer is not smooth enough, or covered with a slick material, so the clear cover of the lower tray gets scratched.

We bought this Samsung about a month ago. To be honest I was a bit nervous. I had read the reviews and worry if we would have the same issue and if it was a wise choice. I even considered buying a different brand. But my heart kept pulling me back to this one. I love the stainless steel black. So we bought it. We have even hooked up the ice maker. I have to literally open the refrigerator to see if it is on. It makes no noise not even a hum to indicate its on. I have no regrets buying this refrigerator was so ever. It was a wise choice so happy!

Absolutely Regret this Purchase. The fridge is incredibly loud!!! Its louder than hearing my own thoughts. It exceeds 44 decibels. This is due to a noisy compressor that rattles, hums, or even has the sounds of crickets all at once. I can also hear it moving water to make ice. (While watching TV, I can hear it from the living room if there is a quiet time in the movie). I went to home depot the following day after delivery to say it is simply just too loud for my space, especially given I work from home sometimes, they said to call Samsung. I called Samsung. After the third call and making various adjustments they recommended they sent a tech... who said this is how Samsung fridge compressors are so he installed a foam sound buffer around the compressor. I am convinced its even louder. DO NOT Purchase. Also the shelves are not spaced for juice or milk jugs you have to remove one of the shelves. Overall, just SKIP this one.

Great refrigerator! Love the open door warning! Kids have a tendency to not shut the door all the way!

Had this refrigerator a few years now, and if I could go back in time, I would definitely NOT buy it again. I bought it in black, and the paint is all scratched up on the handles, so you can see the gray color underneath. The freezer handle feels like it could fall off any day now. The freezer makes everything rock hard, changing the temperature seems to have no effect. It currently says it is 6 degrees in freezer and -2 is recommended. Yet we have to microwave our ice cream to have any because it is so hard to scoop. My vegetables are constantly ruined from the refrigerator section. Can't put them in the bins because they always have a layer of icy water in them. Had a repairman out once already, and the crappy twin cooling section in the back of the fridge had totally iced over, basically shutting down the fridge. The only thing I like about it are the lights inside of it, but that doesn't get me much. The repairman commented on how it was a poor design. Can't wait till it totally dies and I can buy another something. Samsung should stick to TV's.

So far we are very pleased with our Samsung. We have it in our home for about three weeks. So far quiet and it chills very quickly. I set temp to 34 degrees and it took no time to chill my drinking water.Delivery was amazing the guys had to climb 4 flights of stairs of my apartment building and they had the best attitude and service. So far this product has exceeded our expectations.

Love our new Fridge!! Super capacity all around. Separate humidity controls on all drawers. Tons of ice too!

Beautiful and fits lots of food, but scratches very easily for being scratch resistant!

Samsung does not honor their warranty - even in the first year. Technicians say they can't fix it, Samsung says they have to. Each of the SIX days of service (that didn't fix it) was a day I had to be available at anytime that day. Don't buy it - go with another brand.

Great value for the size and features. The finish is a nice touch and it runs way more efficient than our older unit did.

Delivery service and product quality are disappointing. Delivery/install person was on the phone the entire time. He signaled he was done with a thumb up because he was too busy talking on the phone. Left before I had a chance to inspect the fridge. Of course, it arrived with cosmetic damage with one of the fixed glass shelves. A chip in the front and a deep scratch and imperfection in the glass toward the back. Samsung customer service is a joke. The words customer and service should not be used to describe what they do. They sent wrong part. Gave wrong information. Literally left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing because they have two systems that do not talk to each other. Really reflect poorly on Home Depot. Reported to Home Depot. Hopefully they will take this feedback and improve their vendor oversight.

we're really loving our new refrigerator. super quiet, looks amazing, and so many nice features. wasn't sure about not having a water dispensers but after buying a britta water jug that we place in the fridge and using that we like it even better. so glad we made this purchase.

We only had ours for a week now but so far we love it. Very well laid out for storage in fridge. Love the freezer drawer and the eas of changing the water filter on ice maker.

This refrigerator arrived quickly and the delivery staff from Home Depot were very helpful and professional. We have been very happy with this purchase so far. Our new refrigerator is energy efficient and it looks and works great. We love all the space and efficient organization options. Would definitely buy again.

So far, it is beautiful! A lot bigger inside than I thought . The lighting inside is bright. Bought the whole set and my kitchen is going to look great. Can't wait until they are all installed!

I've only had my refrigerator for a couple of weeks, but I absolutely love it! We chose the black finish and it's absolutely beautiful! It is very roomy and all of our food items are easily accessible. Love the Cool Select Pantry feature!

Love the almost 26 cubic feet of space!

Looks great and it's so spacious! I can access everything and rearranging the shelving is easy to set it to your liking. The bottom freezer is great as I can organize things much better in there (tip: you can get generic plastic bins to organize stuff too). The ice maker noise is not as bad as I thought when I read other reviews. It did scare me the first time as I didn't expect it but it generally is not something that would keep me up at night. I think the biggest part of the noise is on an emptier tray when the cubes fall in. If you line this up with a rubber mat or something then the noise would be immensely reduced. I highly recommend this fridge for the price! Great Value!

Bad refrigerator!!!! Wouldn’t recommend this refrigerator to my worst enemy,after waiting 16 days my brand new fridge arrives only to stop working 3 days later . Samsung send a technician he has no clue what was wrong so he said the problem was fixed , half a day later the fridge stop working dead as a door nail I think this fridge was a compressor problem.

I have had this refrigerator for 4 weeks now and absalotly love it. Good looking, quiet, roomy and so easy to find stuff in it.

Excellent refridgerator! Purchased the display model and just realized when review was requested that the one we purchased had this SKU. It is the same one but with ice & water in the door!

DO NOT BUY a Samsung refrigerator. I'd give this and Samsung a 0 stars if I was able to. Bought this at the end of December of 2016. For one year was great but not anymore. Now nothing but problems with this refrigerator icing up. The evaporator ices up, either stopping the fan from spinning or it makes a horrible grinding noise. The 'repair' is to empty the contents and manually defrost for 48-72 hours. Problem is the drain in the back also freezes shut and even 72 hours may not be enough time for it to clear. Mulitple calls to Samsung have resulted in, 'we will have a technician call you back." Well its been 3 days and still no call back and no refrigerator. Also, the referigator was never installed correctly by Home Depot. The instructions specifically state that it should not be resting on the front rollers to use the adjustable feet instead. So after paying $1800 plus dollars I had to do that, myself. Good thing I read the book. Do your homework. Search the internet first, before buying; it is full of complaints with people experiencing the same issue. A current class action law suit is still in progress and and one guy has 8 you tube videos on his fight with the icing. Here's what happens- water leaks beneath the fridges’ crisper trays, noises including a loud grinding, knocking screeching noise when the fan hits the ice in the evaporator compartment, the ice bucket sticks and is difficult to remove, the ice maker freezes from slushy water forming in the bottom of it, odd size ice cubes, when water is selected partial ice cubes come out or vice versa. You have to menu through the touchpad again to get it to work it. This typically occurs 12 to 18 months after purchase and installation. Just happens to coincide with the warranty expiring at the end of 12 months. Samsung is of no help and even though there are two class action lawsuits (current and a past) against them they pretend to not know anything about it. We called one refrigerator repair store and they suggested buying a new refrigerator stated "there is nothing we can do to fix it. It's just a poor design." Also good luck finding any parts if you want to attempt to do something besides emptying your refrigerator out every 3 to 6 months for it to manually defrost. I spent five plus hours today disasembling, de-icing the drain and evapoirator, checking the temperature sensor and heater elements resistance and voltage supply then reinstalling everything knowing that in another 6 months or so I will get to do this all again. Let me tell you also that at first you can't remove the back panel because the ice is so thick it binds the panel to the evaporator core. I had to use butter knives and a blower drier on the cold setting to slowly melt the ice to gain access to the evaporator. After 48 hours and 2 hours with a blow drier the amount of ice left over is visbile on the heater element and evaporator of my refrigerator. Think about that before you spend your hard earned money.

It is a beautiful refrigerator, the only thing is, I was able to get the plastic off the one door but not the rest (it had started coming off the one door so I took it all the way off. Where is the starting place to get the plastic off?
