We have had this refrigerator for a week and love it. It functions as promised and has lots of usable space. The freezer is large and has separate compartments to help keep frozen foods organized. Delivery was as promised and the guys were super fast and efficient.

This refrigerator is just "okay" for the following reasons: 1.) It's overall very loud. It's as loud now as my old refrigerator when it was broken. In an 1,100 sq foot house, I can hear the refrigerator running from the living room. Mostly what I think I am hearing is the compressor fan running. Okay, just now the fan stopped running and I've heard 2 successive loud cracks, as loud as ice falling into an empty tray (it was not ice that I heard). 2.) I know I did not hear ice falling in #1 above because the ice maker is unbelievably loud. Errrrrrrrr eeeeeeee ddddddhhhhhhhhh ssshhhhhhhh eeeehhhhhhh. Come on, seriously, I have to listen that every hour or so. Much remains to be said on how long that baby lasts! At least I'll be able to hear it when it, or as it gradually, breaks down. 3.) Samsung delivered 2 brand new refrigerators to my house. The first one had a huge ding on the front door, so it was refused. The second one seemed okay (until you get to my point #4) but realize that this thing ships brand new with styrofoam plates covering the top and bottom, and only saran wrap covering the front. Be prepared to refuse upon delivery. The delivery people are very nice, it's not their fault, this is all Samsung. 4.) The air seal on the right door allows air to leak, causing condensation, which accumulates and drips down, passes through the seal on the freezer pull out door, and condensed water freezes there in the freezer. Much awaits to be seen how Samsung will fix this; my bet is they do not act too quickly. 5.) This refrigerator uses 5.3 amps (amps x volts = watts). My old energy "inefficient" side by side used 3.5 amps. I need to know that for my generator load during hurricanes. Obviously, the more amps used, the less energy efficient the machine is. From what I saw, and I saw some models of refrigerators going as high as 14 amps, this was not too bad. But still, I'm not happy with 5.3; all this technology, and we can't produce a 3.5 amp refrigerator anymore? 6.) I'm not a fan of the freezer at all, because to open the freezer you pull out the whole freezer as a drawer (which I know is pretty much standard nowadays) which wastes energy. Then you dig through bags of frozen vegetables to find the peas please. It's like digging in a laundry basket, I guess, to find a matching sock, but no one does that because that's annoying. Who thought of this genius configuration?? 7.) Organization of space is just enough to be not enough. The doors have shelves, but the sides of these shelves are too high. For example, due to tall wine bottles, I have one shelf that's 7 3/4" below the one above it. The shelf side is 3 3/4" tall, this means I have only 3 1/2" to get out objects out. If a mason jar of homemade BBQ sauce is 7" tall, it will fit on that shelf, however getting it out will not be easy. (But it will be done, because that is some GOOD sauce!) [see photo] If I move the BBQ sauce shelf down, the wine will not fit. Based on my dislikes, I would not re-buy this, therefore I would not recommend this to others. Here's what I do like: 8.) The finish leaves no fingerprints. I did my best on it at the store, and nothing was left behind and it's the same at home. 9.) Without a door water / ice dispenser there is much more room in the refrigerator. 10.) It's better than having nothing.

It has ample space and cooling perfectly. It has different section for different cooling and it serve me well. I had it for few month and it is perfect satisfaction. It has no water dispenser outside and at the beginning I missed it but it is much neater and have no problem.

I have only had this for 1 week. I would prefer the long deli drawer at bottom of the refrigerator to be 2 drawers so when I want something out of it I only have to open 1 door as I do for the rest of the refrigerator.

We purchased this fridge in March. Delivery /set-up/removal service was excellent. It is attractive, fits décor. Unfortunately the icemaker is terrible. It sounds like a plane ready to take off at times,(I assume when it is emptying/refilling trays) and ice production is very limited. It is barely enough for two people. We now supplement with two ice-cube trays. I have read other reviews with the same complaint. If Samsung fixed this issue, this would be an awesome fridge. My 15 y/o refrigerator made tons of ice quietly until it died, so I know it can be done!

Leave turn on for 24 hrs. Don't open! We heard about the popping noise... Didn't have any issues. By all means NO magnets".... They hate technology. We should know as our daughter put a fridge magnet into a disc drive at school and whala..... we bought the school a new computer. Magnetic and tech don't mix! Did not want the ice maker but came with it, we did not hook it up as it's just another tech issue we didn't want to deal with down the road and we did not need it anyway. Hard to buy one today without it. My suggestion is.... Read the instructions before you buy. Ask where they are fixed. Call and ask about the issues they have. Do Your Homework! Today they are expensive and we're tired of throwing money away. Blessings to you all.

We have had this refrigerator for several months now and it is perfect. It is very spacious and we can now see and get to all of the food easily (nothing is stacked behind). The light is amazing and we really like not having the ice maker taking up the refrigerator space (Having the ice machine in the freezer part make sense.).

Great sleek looking fridge. I have only owned it for a few weeks but thus far it has worked great! Home depot installers did a great job taking the doors off to get it through my narrow doorway.

WE have had our refrigerator for about a month now. WE absolutely love it, it has a great freezer, keeps it so cold almost like a deep freezer. The fridge part is very large and spacious, the pull out drawer at the bottom has a lot of room too, and it keeps my fruits and veggies fresh for a long time.

Caveat emptor - stay away from Samsung & their refrigerators. This refrigerator has frighteningly loud popping noises that randomly occur 24/7. The noise is so loud, it wakes us up at night (it is not the ice maker). Samsung says the noise occurs with every refrigerator - NOT!!! The most disappointing part is Home Depot refused to get involved with resolving this problem. As a very frequent HD shopper, I was surprised at their suggestion that I shop at Lowe's in the future if I want better Customer Service. I have now converted to being a devout Lowe's customer.

Love Love Love this fridge. So big and fancy looking. I love the room it has for our groceries, etc. The freezer is really spacious as well.

Noisy, and ice forms under cool pantry drawer. Called Samsung - no help. Ice build up under pantry drawer prohibits movement of drawer, requiring removing ice and mopping up cold water. Samsung support useless. In summer, intermittent frosting of food in freezer. No cause could be found.

All I can say is.. WOW!!!!!! its beautiful, very roomy, I'm in love with my new fridge :)

I just have spent $400 to fix this refrigerator after less than 2 years of purchase. About 1 year ago, ice maker stop working. Online solution told me that to push re-set button right under ice maker....nothing tapped....so I was out of ice for 1 year. Repair person told me today that ice maker motor was not function at all. About 2 month ago, refrigerator started making horrible noise. Online solution said unplug 2 hours or so to re-set. It did fix noise. But refrigerator started to sweat a lot so that most of vegetable and fruits were getting moldy in a couple day. Then I noticed refrigerator temp does not go down more than 54F....Finally I called servicemen. It turned out original drain pipe was clogged by poor design. No water was going through and backed up water stated freezing all over and finally affecting fan behind panel. Serviceman replaced original parts and ice maker. I paid $400...I purchesed this at $1100, 2 years ago. I should have bought high end one from the beginning.

Great fridge only had for a week but looks great lot's of space very satisfied so far - Mine has no front door ice it drops it in the freezer bin

We were excited to get this fridge as our previous fridge had so much wasted space and was too small for us. This fridge fills our space well and is so much better organized. The french doors helps keep the cold in and the adjustable shelves help with storage. I will say that you can have trouble storing large bottles like wine, but if you adjust your shelves correctly, that can be avoided. The freezer has been excellent and the crisper drawers do their job very well. At the price of this fridge, you can't beat its performance. We'd highly recommend it!

This is a great Samsung Refrigerator as I due like having the water filter in the front as for easy changing. The Ice maker actually have a off button on the inside in the front, it makes it very easy to use as all the controls are in the front. This runs very quite and is a cost saving in the long run compare to what we have looked at along with what we had in the past.

I have owned this exact model just under two years now. It has been repaired twice for electronics issues. Last week the freezer door handle broke off. In case you are wondering we never pulled hard or kicked or pried or did anything out of the ordinary opening the freezer door. The handle is part of a mechanism that helps open the door. Upon investigation I have learned that the tiny little piece of plastic that is load bearing can not be replaced. You have to replace the entire freezer door. I am appalled at how poorly this refrigerator was designed. I don't necessarily hate the fact they used plastic, but the fact that the entire door has to be replaced is down right disrespectful of the hard work I put forth for the opportunity to buy this disposable refrigerator.

Stay away from this one. Compressor is loud, makes popping sounds as other have mentioned, and it gets worse over time. The front door also develops rust spots even though we live in dry CA (see photo).

Delivery set was great and knowledgeable. I love the lights and the filter system. My food is staying fresher longer, which makes for less waste. Love the alarms for those careless people. Space is great and movable. This was my first brand new Frig. It is a beautiful addition to our kitchen. And no messy finger prints to look at. love it!

I got my new Samsung refrigerator just before Christmas and was so pleased to see how many leftovers it could handle! I kept saying, "I love my new refrigerator!" over and over during the holidays. I'm not one bit sorry I chose this model....it holds a lot of food, everything is at eye level and easy to find plus it beeps if the door is left open or ajar too long.....and I love the freezer on the bottom...I think it holds more than my former freezer on top style! LOVE this new fridge....wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Hello, We received our Samsung refrigerator from home depot on Sunday 02/08/2015 and it's missing a white plastic cover on top of the right side refrigerator door (please refer to attachment for your reference).

I have had this refrigerator for about a month. I have to admit that I was a little hesitant as there were some reviews that were less than glowing. But I couldn't be happier. Some reviews indicated that this was a noisy refrigerator. After putting up with a noisy dishwasher I was in no mood to add a refrigerator to my list of little aggravations. Glad to say that there is just a very slight purr every now and again to let me know all is well. Several of the comments indicated that there is a tendency for the ice to fall behind the drawer. I can see where this could happen and it would be difficult to retrieve. So I just tun off the ice maker when there is plenty and back on when I need more. I love that the ice drawer slides out when you open the freezer making ice cubes easy to reach. My brother's refrigerator requires that you open the freezer and then slide out the ice drawer. This model, the ice presents itself when you open the freezer drawer. I love my new refrigerator. And am very happy with my choice. Looks great too. The other models were more square and boxish, this one is modern and sleek. The Home Depot delivery team (yes a team showed up) were on time (within a two hour window), professional, courteous and helpful.

I am happy with my purchase because i got it for such a good price but it does have a few things that are a little annoying. The wheels are really ugly and the manufacturer made no attempt to hide them. They really stand out. The door handles are also just hollow pipe painted white. So the refrigerator itself is really nice and then it has cheap looking handles and wheels. It does make alot of noises. Its not loud just different from any other unit I have owned. It doesn't sound broken, it can't be heard from other rooms so it doesn't bother me.I had a kenmore elite that I adored before this. If I had the money I would have bought the Kenmore Elite again. This unit is close enough but the cheap accessories on it really annoy me. Kenmore Elite really has everything done perfectly so I was really spoiled. This is a nice refrigerator for the money. If you have the money skip this one, if you want a really nice frdge for a great price and can live with a few minor details not being perfection, then this is still a great buy. Sorry about any typos. I did this review from my phone and it was interrupted a few times.

Although I haven't had it for only a few weeks the value for the price is outstanding. Very high craftsmanship and detail. You can't go wrong with the Samsumg.

What a pile of junk. The ice maker has constant problems and I hate the below drawer freezer.

Brand new when we purchased our home. One headache after another!! Every single side compartment broke- reduced load of condiments- still broke! Expensive to replace like $70ea!! Ices over constantly making ice maker stop working. Constant error messages. Water now collects under sliding pantry section and freezes over into a sheet of ice. Pantry lid has never stayed in place-constantly pops out so we just took it off. We keep things away from the back, so no excuse. Horrible fridge overall.

One of the worst appliance purchases I’ve ever made. In the two years since we purchased, we had to have someone come out two fix it three times ($150 each time not including parts), and it’s still broken. Won’t keep temp below 60 degrees. Service company says it can’t be fixed any further… Samsung has never responded. What a rip off
