tweezers in kit are pretty flimsy. Would be better to have different size pins in individual bags.

Watch the videos, watch the videos and watch the videos again. The part about don't remove the key is, pardon the pun but key. Even if you think you are not removing the key, watch out because you still might do it. Happened to me. Good news is, there are videos on how to put all the springs and parts back in...but it might take a while and some patience. Bottom line this kit works.

Simple fix for Schlage door sets to use one key.

Was rekeying a lock to a key I already had. This only includes the pins needed for the key provided. Wish that were more apparent on the packaging.

It worked just fine. It took me longer than the listed 15 per lock. I was working with older locks, maybe that’s why. But for the money it’s a good deal. Locksmith wanted $130.00 for four locks.

This was easy to do. Worked great.

Works as advertised, Plastic tweezers would benefit from being more rigid. I launched a couple of PINs by accident.

Great set to rekey a few locks! Made it nice and easy, would for sure use this set again.

The tweezers that was included were very poorly made. I couldn’t use them because they were mold poorly. The one side was longer than the other side so you can’t pick up the pins.

Key bitting was a bit too similar for most cuts but otherwise this worked out okay.

The tweezers weren’t very good but the rest worked as advertised.

This is not for the faint of heart. It took a long time to figure out the method to the madness but once its figured, these work fine. the keys are cut in a close combination however as far as picking it. Its the same difficulty for a picker. Not sure if these pins are brass or Aluminum. The operation is not smooth until the key is inserted and taken out about 30 times. in the end I will get these again if needed. Adequate tools. My tumbler was 6 pin but high security schlage has more pins. one could just use 6 pins and this key. I have done this before in a pinch if the high security is not a concern. be sure to insert the key completely as I said they stick at first and will not line up. All the locks work well now.

Great product. I was hesitant at first, but the process very easy. I changed two door knob locks and two deadbolt locks. I would recommend this kit for anyone that wants to de-clutter their key-chain.

Did not work for adding an existing whole house key

Low quality, all pins are low pin numbers resulting in a very easy to pick lock. It was not even worth the time and trouble to return.

It worked well, included tools were sufficient. 4 stars because the new key is not as smooth as the original one.

Very hard to use Messed up lock

Not compatible with matching existing Schlage pins, so only works if you want to rekey with Primeline pins to their key. I wanted to repin to the original Schlage key. Product is fine otherwise, but I will try to return it.

The kit is fine, but the job is tricky. I lost a tiny spring and ended up taking apart another lock to get another spring. It would be nice if the kit included a few springs.
