I bought this little fireplace insert because I wanted a fireplace look for Christmas and since I don't have a real fireplace, I was able to put this in a cabinet (minus the doors) and surround it with Christmas items. It looks really great. It works exactly as is described The only thing I would say is that the crackling sound doesn't really sound crackling, it has more of a popping sound but that's okay. Even if you just turn the crackling sound off the log itself still wavers which makes it look like you have burning embers going. I love it and I would buy it again!

The logs look great, the crackling sound effect isn’t great (a little tinny, no volume control), but it’s still a great value. Ps, little cheap Bluetooth speaker hides well behind it if you really want to have it sound more realistic

This set of fireplace logs is really quite nice. I do not mind the lack of flame effect as the smouldering embers are quite nice on their own. It worked very well where I wanted it to fit. I felt so pleased, until I turned on the sound. The only way I can describe it is it sounds like someone wadding up paper which is then punctuated by distant gunshots going off. It is so sad, because proper sound could have made this product truly perfect. Instead, it spoiled it. Because of the price I would recommend this product to others, with a caveat regarding the sound. If sound is important to the buyer, I would not recommend. Nevertheless, we're keeping it, because it's better than a fireplace dvd.

And barely, your description mentions Heat Source : Electricity. Yet it does not emit heat. A bit disappointed.

It wasn’t what I really expected. Smaller than I thought & doesn’t look as realistic as it did in the pic. Also the sounds are more like fireworks, not a fire. For the price I expected a little more.

Very dim light and the crackling sounds are very obviously fake sounding. Spend the money on a more expensive model.

It's smaller than I expected and the overall look is just too even (solid black). It could do with some ashy highlights on the log ends. I am using actual ashes from the back of the fireplace and a brush to dab on the ends. The crackling sound is terrible but we weren't going to use it anyway.

I didn’t like it. It was too artificial looking.

Unit works well, simulates a fireplace nicely.

Looks good, but the cord was too short.

The log looks very nice in my fireplace, nice color etc....but the 'sound' is not good at all, it actually sounds like gunfire, if they could fix that end of it, the unit would be great. But, sadly I don't use the sound effect at all.

It’s a pretty piece, but the “flickering glow” is unimpressive and the “crackling” sounds like gunfire. Very disappointing.

We returned to the store. It was too small for our fireplace and the flame didn’t look real.

It was delivered when you said it would be and very prompt. It was a gift for a co-worker and she just loved it. I was afraid it wasn't bright enough, because of a review I read, but it was beautiful. Thank you so much for your and the young girl who helped me when ordering was awesome..

Really easy to connect and enjoy a lifelike natural fire sound that it produces. Great product!
