Nice little fake fireplace for ambiance. No heat. Does have sounds but they are not realistic-disappointing. We just turn the sound off.

Would have liked it better with realistic flames

This is pretty nice. The log lit up and the lights have movement and changes intensity creating a nice ambiance. I placed on top of my grate so it is more visible. I have a can gel log that I really like but I am unable to use for few years since I have an infant. Meanwhile this was an affordable replacement. I agree with other reviews the sound is a little odd and I do not turn it on. I wish there was a remote or that it could be used with a timer, oh well we need to pay more for those features. I am satisfied and my holidays were nicer with the fireplace on without the danger of burning my son’s fingers!

Flame Crackling noise sounds like a broken blender . Returning it

It’s nice and just the right size

This looks fairly real inside our fireplace. The glowing embers are relaxing. However, with the sound turned on it sounds like large planks breaking so we leave off the sound.

Welove Home Depot and buy our Christmas trees and decorations there. I read the description of Pleasant Hearth fireplace logs and thought it said there would be flames and crackles. We were very disappointed it just looks like embers. How can this be corrected? This is the only one that fit my budget. Thank you very much for your attention to this and excellent follow-up.

Perfect fit in gift receivers fireplace. Gives a cozy feeling. Crackling noise is to loud & fast though, but it can be turned off.

I read the reviews of 1. If you are looking for a fireplace that has dancing fire and all that, this is not it and IT DOES NOT HAVE heat. I will say, I keep the sound off. It's not a good sound to me but it is a nice little ambience creating item, when placed in the right spot, that can be used all year round. I just hope the lighting doesn't go out but I really appreciate the product so far. It's nice.

This fireplace is really easy to use it makes my fireplace look like it is really in use it has a beautiful flame to it I would recommend it to everyone

It was a good addition to the living room since the fireplace isn’t used anymore. Gives a holiday feel

This is perfect for what we wanted. Except: the sound of the fire is far from something to make you think it is a fire cracking. That should be an easy thing to fix. So we don’t use the sound.

Great looking burning ember fireplace logs. I added a set of twinkling orange lights behind it for added realistic look. My only complaint is that the On switches are on the right side of unit, and my wood stove's doors are front and left side. So I have to squeeze my hand on the right side to turn it on, and my hand gets black soot on it. Other than that, we love it. Wish I'd thought about buying it years ago (didn't know they made such a thing until I searched for fireplace lights).

The fire place was easy to assemble and my daughter and husband love it.

the crackling 'sound' sounds like gunfire, so I dont turn that part on

the "burning fire sound" sounds like cap toy guns going off inside the unit
