I like to replace the filter about every three months....
I like to replace the filter about every three months. I usually prefer to buy local and products made in the USA, so for the past several years I’ve purchase these at a local plumbing store. This time the filter was at 112 dollars. I saw these at the Home Depot website for almost half the price. So I gave it a shot. Turned out they are from Nuvo and made in good old USA. Excellent.

The new cartridge turned my water blue and I called...
The new cartridge turned my water blue and I called the Nuvo company. He told me to run all of the faucets for 10 minutes. Still had blue water and was given a series of steps to do including taking the cartridge out to dry overnight. Then there was a series of steps to do and eventually I had clear water. It was time consuming and messy.
