Still costs too much but at least you had the product.

Bought house with this already installed. Have owned houses with salt based conditioners as a base line to compare. My shower door is full of water stains a week after installing. Not really sure this does anything.

Not recommend for wells. It only lasts 3 months. @ $90 each.

This is the greatest thing, because my home has NO room for a water softener. A few years ago, I was watching THIS OLD HOUSE and they were discussing the installation of this system. I researched it and had one installed.

When I change cartridges, it leaks between the ring that holds the canister in and the main part of the unit. It seems that it needs a gasket between the unit and the cartridge holder. It will not screw on any tighter, believe me I've tried so I have to put a bucket under the softener to prevent soaking my laundry room floor. As far as use quality, I am happy with its softening performance.

No they are junk I quit using them two years ago, no need to send me any more I'm tired of sending them back!!

This has been a great simple water system.

It seems to me, and based off water bill usage, that these cartridges aren't lasting as long as they used to; and at almost $100, it's ridiculous compared to a salt softener. Our water usage has gone down quite a bit in the last year, yet these cartridges are struggling/failing to make it 6 months.

While there are certainly advantageous aspects to this unit over a salt system, you do need to be very sure you purchase the correct size for your home. Too small and you'll be changing out expensive cartridges more often, plus it doesn't work as fast or as well as a salt system. Also, this system does tend to leave citrus water spots on everything. But the small space it takes up, not killing your grass by having to flush the system out every year, and not having to store and haul 40 lb bags of salt is great, and it DOES work at keeping the worst of hard water build-up from occurring!

The NuvoH2O system came with a home we recently purchased. Testing the water with this new cartridge installed revealed the water was still hard.

It works well, however the price went up $20 in just the last month!

We love this system. We’ve had it for over ten years.

Arrival time for the product was longer than expected. But, so far, product is working well. No problem with installation.
