We had really hard water that was hard on our appliances. This system has made a world of difference. My dishwasher (with a chrome lining) is actually shiny again. This filter is really easy to change.

The product was as good as advertised and I will continue to use it.

It is great on salt to buy and only have to replace cartridge ever 6 months

Been using for seven years now

I love this product very much, in fact I installed them in all 13 of my properties that I managed. The filters are not that difficult to install or switch out. Here is how I do it. PLEASE NOTE, I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL BUT HAVE DONE THIS MANY TIMES...... SO IF YOU DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE THEN PLEASE CALL A PLUMBER AND HAVE THEM INSTALL IT FOR YOU. 1. Shut off water to the garage water shut off valve or the main street valve as some have a shut off in the garage towards the garage door, on the wall. 2. Then go inside the house and turn on the closest faucet to the garage and leave it opened for the water to empty from the pipes (if the water continues to flow and you shut off the valve inside your garage, please not that your valve is bad and you need to shut water off at the streets main valve) if your water continues to flow then you need a professional as something is wrong. This is for the water to clear out for you to open the Nuvo water filter unit at the top to exchange filters. 3. Grab a bucket (put under water filter unit) and sponge for the excess water that is inside the unit. Use the gadget that comes with the unit to loosen and unscrew the top of the unit. Water will come out as expected, but only a small amount should come out, if it is flowing out, tighten it back up and call a plumber. When the water is out of unit you can then pull down the outer casing to get to the filter. Grab the old filter and replace it with the new one. Make sure you insert the filter the same way you take it out as there are holes in the filters that have to go a certain direction. 4. After exchanging filters, put the unit back up and screw it back on tightly. But not supper tight as you don't want to strip it. 5. Turn the water valve back on/open to get the water flowing into your house. 6. Go inside to make sure your water filter unit is Not leaking and it is sealed correctly. If No water comes out........ follow step 6, but if it is leaking then you either have the filter in the unit upside down or you didn't screw the unit back on correctly and need to fix it. 7. Go into your home and make sure the water is flowing out of the faucet smoothly and has No air coming out. As sometimes air will get into the lines during this process of shutting the water off and on, you need to make sure there is No air in the lines. So if it is spouting water and air out, wait a while and leave the faucet on until the air is out of the lines.

This is making our water taste awful. We’ve had this system for 3 years and no filter has ever done this. Do not use this product.
