I installed this unit in my double garage And it’s amazing keeps it very cold Living in Tampa Florida.

Unit is working beautifully. Biggest problem I had was the window unit was totally a piece of crap to work with. My windows are 27” across and the 3 pieces of this unit made it mpossible to fit n the window until I finally had to have a neighbor saw off about 4”. Still doesn’t fit well. Using a fairly large quantity of duct tape to seal off the holes between window frame and window unit. Looks a bit tacky, but it works. This part of the A/C unit needs some serious redesign.

I just installed mine. Works great. Just some one needs to design an air tight window kit for an RV. I bought this unit to help in the Arizona heat and was noticing that it really wasn't changing the temperature in the rv. Once I closed the window that I had the exhaust hooked up to the rv ac's finally made a change in temperature inside the rv!

Good for first year and the problem is on for 2 hours then full tank of water is alerted then drain out water and repeat the same thing. How can I fix this issue?

The unit was easy to set up. I've used it for my home office and it cools the room quite nicely. I have not used all the settings (timer, etc) but for what I need it, which is to cool down during hot peek hours, it works great. Also my room is less than 325 sq ft which I think its why it cools down the room quite fast. I've used the unit on the floor as well as placing it on top of a small table. Honestly I get more satisfaction when the unit is elevated.

The unit cools really well. The only 2 issues is that the cold air does not blow out straight. It blows out to the left and right. Because of the exhaust hose I cannot turn it to force the air in the direction I want. It cools the bedroom well enough to sleep comfortably and that is what I purchased it for.

I ordered a newair portable ice maker beena great help saved me lots of money on ice and when it died i talked with even and he was a real help with replacement even helped with shipping would def order again

Unit only cools down to 75° Fahrenheit. It is hardcoded to change to fan mode < 75°. Wish that little fact had been in the description before I bought it. Has temp selection settings that you can set down to 62° but is meaningless since default setting overrides. Fan is LOUD. But have to keep it on high to circulate air to prevent unit from creating cold zone arround it that will drop it into fan mode. If temp was controllable, the unit would probably be ok.

My loft can't support window box AC units and there is no central air, so having this unit really helps us keep cool. I also like the fact that the control panel on top is really easy to use and I don't have to stoop down to read the buttons.

Using this unit in our open, approx 450sf living area. There are no appropriate windows to vent out of, so we are using the exhaust piping on pellet stove to vent out roof (about same size as ac hose, removed bottom cleanout, bought metal elbow that would connect, fitted together, and taped) We keep adjacent bed/bath doors shut, and ac unit is able to keep room temp down to comfortable mid 70s on really warm days...our space is upstairs, with huge windows (covered) so gets unbearably hot-this has been a lifesaver! Humidity is usually around 60%, so water collects inside tank door-easy to once daily absorb w/cloth-no leaking. Unit seems well-built & simple to use-happy so far, and grateful to have found a solution with this Newair ac unit. PS-Chose Newair because we have a well-functioning fan from them that serves us well.

This is not a good AC. Within a month we started to have problems. It doesn't cool down the room, it keeps shutting off, a "E2" error keeps popping up. Just a horrible AC. I regret purchasing this AC.

Cools bedroom very nicely. Is a little loud, but able to sleep. It is now just white noise.

It's easy to set up including the window pieces. Quite, strong and very efficient AC. It was our second one of exact same model. We keep one in each large rooms and very satisfied.

We have has this air conditioner going on 4 years and it still works very well. During the summer months we use it in our bedroom and I have been amazed how it can take the room from 80 degrees into the 60s in less than half an hour. I recently needed to replace the exhaust hose and a caster and I found the customer service to be more than helpful! would recommend!

This AC unit has done so much to save us over the last couple of years. We live in the Puget Sound area, and it feels like each summer gets worse and worse in terms of heat, and none of the rentals we've lived in have any sort of installed AC. We finally purchased this unit, and it is one of the best purchases we've ever made. It's relatively easy to install and move around. The only downsides we've ever encountered are how loud it can be while we're trying to sleep and the window mount doesn't completely fit our current windows, but neither of those are deal breakers (especially since our current windows are EXTREMELY tall. All in all, a great purchase.

This AC is used as our primary cooling in our main living area and it is outstanding. Provides great cooling, easy to operate and seems quite efficient. I am considering adding anther unit for our second floor.

This unit sits in a very large room and not only cools that room well but the bedrooms connected to it.

We have appreciated having the the Newair portable air conditioner these past five (or so) years, especially during the really hot summers. However, the hose became damaged over time. I contacted customer service and received a response in a timely manner. Shanice, the customer service rep, was quick to respond to my following emails and she was able to find the replacement part for me. One thing that I would appreciate more would be making the website easier to navigate to find replacement parts.

Customer service were very useful. Thanks to them I am able to get a replacement for my portable air conditioner
