I bought and installed this sensor switch last week because I am always running out of the house in a hurry in the morning and leaving my master bathroom light on. Coming home 8-10 hours later and seeing the light still on was not making me feel good at all. I like that I can set the sensor to shut off one minute after I walk out. I feel much better knowing that it will shut off on its own and I am not wasting electricity. I'm a single 40 something lady and I installed this unit myself on a home that's about 22 years old or so. I highly recommend this sensor switch and I will be installing one in my garage soon.

Switch was easy to install, works exactly as indicated.

Very easy to install ,really simple instructions and very easy to set up for your needs . I set mine to shut off after five minutes so the light would stay on while I`m in the shower and if you want the light out without waiting the five minutes just touch it on the way out and it`s out . all I can say is GREAT. The reason I decided on a sensor switch is because my wife had a problem in the night finding the light switch and now she does not have to find it

Worked as advised. However, the install guide need to be better written. It only covers if from the wall, you only have two black wire and ground wire. However, nowadays, it is not uncommon to have two black wire, one red wire and one ground wire. To the people not that handy, it would be very confusing. In case you have the same wires layouts, here's the instruction: 1. If you facing the switch , with copper head part up, there are two black wire from the switch. Upper one and lower one. Make sure you clear about that. 2. Connect the lower black wire from switch, and two black wires from the wall together. 3. Connect the upper black wire from switch, and red wire from the wall together. 3. Connect green wire from switch with group wire from switch, and the ground wire from the wall together. As you can see, they are totally different from the guide. That's why I gave it four stars.

this product did not work after installation. it was a wast of time. Tell me what I am doing wrong???

I purchased this light switch for our laundry room because the light was constantly being left on. This switch solved that problem immediately. Not only does the light in the laundry room come on automatically now when you walk in, but it automatically turns itself off after 1 minute, which is even better. No more wasted electricity!! The switch settings are also easy to adjust ... you just have to follow the included instructions and press the right buttons and pay attention to the flashing lights that indicate which setting is in effect.

I put this switch in my guest bath and was totally happy with its performance turning the exhaust fan off and on for my deaf wife. I decided to put one in my main bath too. Thr first one wouldn't stop cycling off and on, no matter what adjustments I made so I took it back and Home Depot replaced it, no questions asked except to describe the problem. The new one works beautifully! Does take a little time and patience to program, though. Thanks, Home Depot employees for your service.

I got this to control the light in our laundry room. I mistakenly purchased a vacancy switch a few years ago and finally decided to replace it with an occupancy switch. Installation took about twenty minutes but that was removing two old switches and installing a timer along with this switch. I changed the setting so the light goes off after one minute. Everything works perfectly so I have no complaints but I was surprised by all the plastic used in this Lutron switch.

Have 2 young boys and this was perfect for putting in the bathroom, they love it. Plus everyone else who visits loves it. It was simple to install and easy to change the default settings.

Used this switch for our small laundry room located off our kitchen. Every time we walk in the room, the light comes on. You can set the amount of time the light stays on. After a few minutes, the light goes off. Also convenient for closets and garages.

The laundry room light would get left on more than any light in the house. I recently installed this motion detector switch to end that problem. The switch was easy to install. The set up was not too bad either. I set mine to turn on when it senses motion and to turn off after one minute of not sensing motion. This is another one of those projects I wished I had done sooner.

When I built my house I neglected to put a three way switch on a stairway. It would be VERY difficult to rout a traveler and add a switch at the bottom of the step. This is very inconvenient when downstairs and the light is off in what can be a very dark stairwell. This product said 180 degree sensing at a fair distance so I was hopeful that placing it at the top step switch location it would solve the problem. At first it didn't work because the product field of view is purely horizontal - it really sees very little up, or down. After thinking about it for a while I made an adaptor block which mounts the device at the angle of the steps. Now it works great. It picks us up going down, or up with no problem. This actually turned out to be very convenient as the light comes on automatically even if we are carrying something and our hands are full. Also, the lights go out automatically after a preselected time delay. The sensor comes programmed for a three minute time delay to off, but it is easy to program to different options. For our application we find a one minute delay to work well. Problem solved for less than $25. No other options I looked at - such as wireless 3-way solutions, or opening walls to route wires - were as cost competitive or simple to install.

The switches were easy to install and work as advertised. I have only had them in place a couple of weeks so I can't comment on longevity, but I really like them. They are easy to install and easy to adjust.

Have these installed all over the house. Love that you can set them to different styles and time durations. Very hand for each room. Have these installed in the pantry and bathrooms. Just note a nuetral wire is required
