Great microwave when it works - been trying for 2 weeks to get factory service - now referring me to factory authorized service companies - first one i called "out of business" thank you LG

This is a large powerful microwave oven. We bought it mainly because of its extra extend vent for the range. The vent works great and so does the microwave. Very pleased.

I bought this microwave because it was beautiful and frankly it was extremely quiet. It worked well for about two weeks, and I had my mother stand next to it while it was running one time and she couldn’t even hear it. Then… That all changed. For the next four weeks it made quite a bit of noise, and for the last three weeks you cannot hear my television when the microwave is running. I’ve had a repairman out already, and he’s coming back to replace the motor, and the fan in another week. I’m trying to be hopeful, but for the price of this appliance I expected more. I bought 4 of the most expensive kitchen appliances LG makes, a washer and dryer and a TV and I guess I should feel blessed that this is the only issue thus far.

I bought this Microvave but handle could not resist heat and plastic melt and handle came off from one side. called customer serice, they send repair guy, hecame and said that coming with parts, but never heard anything

We just love the extension for the fan. I like the features of this microwave.

Hard to assemble..bottom of microwave gets very hot when stove below is on..

I never realized how much I depend on my microwave. This fits perfect with my LG range The extendavent is great for venting steam. And the light is so helpful. I love the easy clean grey interior.

Replaced a nine-year-old LG that came with the house. We liked the features on that 2013 model and got so used to them we needed to find one that did everything we've come to expect. A bonus is the over-the-range fan system which is a great addition to a rock solid unit.

This was a replacement for the same model that stopped working after a few years. I was satisfied with the previous model - hoped it would not burn out so quickly however. I chose to replace with the same model for ease of installation. The new model was easy to install and fit perfectly! So far it seems to be working fine. Larger and powerful microwave.

We love the way the vent extends over the stove to better exhaust steam, heat, etc. The exhaust has 4 speeds, the microwave is loaded with features, and it was easy to install.

This over range model is a space saver and accomodates even my large dishes. Looks very clean and sleek and extremely quiet.

Microwave is very good. Only issue is the door glass. Has a small view area. I'm 5'10" and seeing what's on the turntable is hard to see.

Replaced an older identical LG extend-a-vent with the new version. The old version had halogen lighting which was warm. This new version has a very cold blue LED that makes food look very unappetizing. With all the color options for LED's, LG could have selected a better neutral LED of this. A color tune-able LED would be a great feature. Looking to return the microwave because of this.

The microwave itself is nothing short of super. The appliance is very easy to use and quiet. The install team on the other hand was outrageously bad. They caused all sorts of problems and damage.

this is our second LG microwave it lasted 7years. we bought our second LG microwave october 2021. in may 2022 it started roaring very loud. they replaced transformer and the magnetron. not even 2 months later its roaring again. we have called service on it again. We will not buy an LG appliance again. my sister has all LG APPLIANCES 3 YEARS OLD THEY ARE GOING BAD

We had a near new major brand microwave, but we bought the LG because of the extra features, especially the pull out stove vent. We are very pleased with our new microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about three weeks ago, and it was definitely an upgrade to our kitchen. The extendavent is nice and helps reduce smoke when cooking on the stove. It’s also much whiter and slightly larger than our old one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll preface this with the fact that I love to cook from scratch and am not typically a huge microwave user. That being said, there are features of this microwave that outperform any previous microwave I have owned and some that are now welcome additions to my cooking routine. You can't beat the extended vent hood. Wonderful power and does it's job extremely well. On this installation, I have it self-venting and the inclusion of the charcoal filter is a wonderful plus. Clean up of the inside of the microwave is also much easier than in previous ones I have owned. I love some of the various preparation features this microwave has as well. They actually perform like one has always wanted, but never experienced in the past. The Melt, Soften, and Defrost functions with their pre-programmed food types are genius. I took a fully frozen loaf of a good, crusty, French bread and defrosted it utilizing the "Bread" defrost setting and ended up with a not hot, still crusty exterior, fully defrosted interior, loaf -- just as if I had left it out on the counter for a couple of hours to defrost on its own. Not something I was ever able to do with a microwave in the past. On the poultry setting, the chicken defrosts properly and doesn't start to cook. The reheat by option is also stellar compared to other microwaves. My "cooking" in this microwave has been limited to steaming some vegetables, heating a cup of tea and crisping up pre-cooked bacon all of which were as good if not better than previous microwaves I have owned. Overall, this oven has substantial power and offers the kind of options that a microwave is best suited for -- and they work! I don't think that there is a better one on the market at any price and I've owned the gamut of them.
