I purchased this oven with excitement. It was a microwave, oven and speed oven in one. For people in the city in small spaces this is a great space saver. After less then one year the cosmetics of the face front started to deteriorate. While the mechanics of it works well, the cosmetics of it is not done well and seems to be poor quality. I have tried soap and water and stainless steel cleaner but there are spots of discoloration all on the face of the appliance. I called GE and they said they cannot fix it. They said that is what stainless steel does. I do not believe them, they should have stood behind the product, instead of telling me there was nothing they could do. i cannot recommend this product due to quality that is not up to a reasonable standard and GE's lack of standing behind their product.

I brought this Adventium microwave to replace a 14 year one. I like the new one as it is simpler to use. Adventium microwave are much better than conventional microwaves as it cooks frozen pizza with a crisp crust

Bought a new motorhome and ordered it with an Advantium Oven. Our 1st one was bought when we built our 2002 bus conversion. We liked that one so much, we got one for our house. Then we had one with our next coach in 2011 and had to have one with our newest coach in 2018. We've cooked everything in it and wouldn't be without one. Thanks GE for a great product!

First on lasted 12 years. Loved it! Replaced it with the current model.

The convection feature is incredible! Best microwave we have ever owned

We did a complete kitchen remodel and when we saw this at the company that made our cabinets we knew we had to have one! Since we had done away with our range and put in a wall oven, we had this oven installed over a counter between the sink and a patio door and it works great! I use the vent when I use my electric frying pan. And it had even more features than we knew, so we have ended up using this product more than the brand new wall oven!

Only had a few weeks and after I put a dish in, my wrist bumped the bottom latch and it snapped off. Very cheeky made! It didn't even leave a mark on my wrist. Unit won't work because it says the door isn't closed. We have been without a microwave for a couple of weeks which is very inconvenient! We had to unplug it because the oven light wouldn't shut off. What little I got to use it features seemed nice.

We owned our other "Advantium" for over 12 years and decided it was time for a new one. We love this style of over-the-range microwave with "speed cook", and look forward to at least another 12 years.

It's the 2nd one I've owned. 1st one lasted 25 years! It is the best appliance I've ever owned. I can have any meal ready in 30 minutes or less. No one I've told about seems to know about it. You need major advertising on this. I couldn't live without it and this new one even does convection cooking. The speed cook feature is awesome which cooks with heat and microwave at the same time!!!

Phenominal product, so useful, we call it "Robot Chef" because of how quickly it works and how easy it is to program. I can program it, for example, to microwave an apple cobbler until the apples are cook, then broil the typing to make it brown and crunchy, dessert in 12 minutes instead of 45!

This is our second advantium and we are well pleased with it. It has several improvements over the old one which we really loved. I guess the only downside is the halogen light for me, but that's fairly minor. Love the racks and we use them quite often. Highly recommend this oven.

Wow! This microwave does it all! Absolutely love it!

I think it’s great EXCEPT for that the clock only displayed when the door is open. It should stay on even when the oven is not in use.

I love the versatility of this oven and ease of use

This is the second Advantium oven I've purchased. The 1st one lasted 25 years. It is by far the best appliance I have ever owned. You can cook almost anything is 20-30 minutes. It is easy to operate and I love that it microwaves or cooks with heat and microwave or straight convention. It is a must for any busy person!

Best appliance I have EVER owned. Will not be without one!

The issue with this Microwave is that it heats up to max temperature of 450 degrees in Convection mode. The problem is that many parts are low grade plastics which fail at these temperatures. Over 3 years I’ve had 2 handle replacements and now the selector knob is malfunctioning.

This is my second Advantium. I bought my first in December 2001 and it served me with NO ISSUES until I had to leave it the new homeowners in June 2022. I could hardly wait until the microwave in my new home died! LOL! It passed in Feb. 2024 and now I have the newest Advantium. Cooking directly on the metal tray was new. It is very convenient to do this and it cleans up easily. I like the one dial to manually input my recipes.

As a recent purchase we only had the opportunity to try only a few features of this microwave/oven. I particularly appreciate the oven’speed-cooking.

We had a 240 watt model before and now we have a 120. This one is ok. it just takes longer then before. I do like having the convection oven feature as baking was also iffy in the 240 model. I just hate that the clock does not stay on except if you open the door or have it in use. That is the stupidest thing in the world.

I had a 240v, white, over-the-range Advantium oven for 22 years that just died. There are no parts for it as it's no longer supported so I had no choice but to replace it. I was bitterly disappointed to find this product is no longer made, period. I had no choice but to downgrade to a 120v Advantium, in stainless steel, which I do not like at all. White is no longer available either. So far I have only used the microwave portion and it seems to be fine. I do NOT like that the clock doesn't stay on all the time. It only illuminates while you are actively using the unit. Therefore, I can't use it to read the time at night. Several features are gone and I greatly miss my old Advantium. Boo on you GE!

Love the different ways one can use this appliance

Easy to use and great features. It’s like adding another oven in your home.

We have owned Advantium ovens in the past and have loved them. THIS purchase, however, was different. The clock on the oven does NOT STAY ON (only when you open the door). This new "feature" is a factory setting and cannot be changed. They claim it is due to some energy mandate, but then they continue to use a halogen bulb as a surface light - NOT an LED halogen replacement, but a HALOGEN bulb! Firstly, it is TERRIBLY, HUGELY aggravating not to have the clock stay on. It is useless and makes daily living very inconvenient. Secondly, if GE is going to claim some kind of energy savings, they should have changed out the surface halogen and LEFT THE DAMNED CLOCK LIGHT ALONE! They chose, instead, to inconvenience - REALLY INCONVENIENCE - the customer. I will NEVER purchase another one of these ovens that are made this way.

Excellent performance. Very powerful. More powerful than my old advantium.

So here is the deal, I have the 240V that is about 2 years old and I love it. It is much more powerful and versatile than the current 120V, now the only one produced by GE. Why GE would end the production of the 240V that out performs the 120V in many ways is beyond me, other than stupidity. The 240V can use all of the cooking functions at one time: microwave, top halogen lights, lower heating element and convection. The 120V cannot do this and is by far an inferior project. GE you blew this one, I am an architect and no longer recommending GE appliances to my clients.

Replacing one like it that I had for 9 years....wonderful machine. I love the racks in the oven and was so glad to find the updated version! sure hope this one lasts 9 +years!
