Answer This Question

A:  Hello and thanks for shopping GE Appliances. We no longer offer a 36" wide over the range microwave. You can use this model microwave, PSA9120SFSS, and will also need the optional side filler panel kit to fill in the 3" on each side of the microwave when installed between the cabinets. The side filler panel kit is JX36BSS. https://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-36-in-Over-the-Range-Microwave-Accessory-Filler-Kit-in-Stainless-Steel-JX36BSS/205834453 -- Hope this helps. Geoff@GEA

Q:what are inside dimensions of this 120V microwave/convection oven? Will it fit a baking/cookie sheet?

      Answer This Question

A:  Hello there, We'll be happy to answer your question. The dimensions are 21-5/9" W x 9-6/15" H x 14-1/4" D - diameter of turntable is 13 1/2" - Baking tray could only be used if it is within the dimensions listed and you are using convection bake and an oven rack. It will not work on speedcook because the turntable rotates and it will get caught on the corners. Have a great one! Mike@GEA

Q:Would this unit fit is the same place as a Model JVM6175SK2SS - I notice there is a slight difference in the width. 29.75 for the old unit and 29.88 for the new unit, would this convection be a direct replacement for the old unit?

          Answer This Question

A:  Hi there, this is a great question! You'll be pleased to know that this will fit the space of your current microwave. All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. We hope this is the answer you wanted to see! We couldn't be happier to have you in our GE Appliances family. - Guy@GEA

Q:I ordered a PSA9120SFSS. On the model I received the model sticker on the unit listed it as a PSA9120SF6SS. Notice the "6". The registration card that came with the unit listed it as the original model number PSA9120SFSS. Which one is it? Is there a difference?

              Answer This Question

A:  Hi Mike, thanks for reaching out! We'd be happy to help clear this up! The extra 6 that you're seeing is called an engineering code. This is mainly used to look at the parts breakdown for your specific variation of model. Rest assured that the model with the extra 6 and the model without are the same. We hope that this helps! Stay safe. -Michael
