[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this appliance in October, 2012 so I have had a few months to use all of it's features. It was purchased to replace an old GE microwave/convection oven. I wouldn't buy any other brand after using the old one a few times a day, every single day, for 25 years. I love this one even more than the old one. This one has many great features! It is also easier to keep clean and has a turntable.

This is not a convection oven, it is more like a regular oven, I purchased this one thinking I was getting a microwave oven and a convection oven so was disappointed in the fact that it bakes like a regular oven. I also agree that it is very difficult to keep clean. Not at all happy.

Looks and works great. User friendly. I would like to be able to just push start after setting the time, seems the extra step of pushing in th button is unnecessary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good microwave/convection oven. I wanted a combination unit so that I could eliminate the toaster oven. It meets most of my needs; however, a browning element would be a nice touch. This is a good size for baking smaller dishes. The controls are a little complicated, but overall I have enjoyed it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product did not compare well with GE signature unit I replaced this unit with. Features are excellent, cooks great, however they replaced the exceptional easy to clean , even spotless after 20 years, white interior with some shiny stainless steel looking, tinny material which promises to be very hard to keep clean. Too bad!!! Not a good way to cut costs.

We've had this oven for a few years and it is really nice, EXCEPT... the light burned out. After looking at the manual AND contacting GE, we've learned that only a technician can replace the light bulb. How ridiculous! What an unfortunate design flaw!

We selected this product because it's similar to our old Oven. Our old oven's rotor gave up the ghost after 6 years of use, but we decided the comparable featues and physical make up made it the choice. It was a GE Profile just as this one is.

I am so glad that the rep at our store suggested this item as an option for us. I hadn't really thought of the combo since I hadn't purchased a microwave in 27 yrs. Since it had done well by us, we had another brand in mind; but we started looking closer at this unit once several options were presented to us. I'm so glad we did. I LOVE this unit. I've used the convection more than the microwave 'cause I don't have to heat my big oven all the time. I love to cook so I use it almost every day!! The manual could be a little easier to read, but I'm getting used to it. I'm learning more all the time.

Love this oven! I can do everything with it and quickly. I especially enjoy the combination feature. I was afraid it would be complicated to operate, but it is surprisingly easy...press a button, turn the dial and hit start. No more heating a big oven for small items or having a toaster oven cluttering my counter.

This unit is easy to use and serves as both a 2nd oven and a microwave. Fortunately we got it right before Thanksgiving and gave it a workout. This is a perfect addition to our kitchen.

I love this microwave! I cooked cornbread in it and it turned out nicely browned on the top and very moist inside. I used just the convection, I think it recommends using the combo of micro and convect but I am not thrilled with the idea of microwaving everything I eat....but I only have one oven and the intent was to give myself a "second" oven.....still use the micro part as well ;) Great oven! Love it!

Originally purchased the over the range convection / microwave to go with a new GE Profile PGB975SEMSS range. After taking additional measurements, we realized we did not have enough space over the range for the unit, and switched to this one instead. I was disappointed that the sides and top are black vs. Stainless Steel - we bought all SS appliances and the sides and top of the microwave are exposed (unlike the dishwasher and dishwasher). The unit is also larger than the typical microwave - probably due to the convection feature. All in all we are happy with the unit, despite the color and size. Having the convection for additional cooking capability is a big plus...

I purchased this microwave a a little over a year ago, and although I am happy with it for the most part, I would not recommend it. I originally wanted to replace my old countertop microwave with an over-the-range model until I realized that I did not have enough clearance space, so I opted to go with this one instead. I find that I don't use the convection feature nearly often enough to justify the additional cost. Although it does come in handy for those times when you need an extra conventional oven, the pre-heat time is very long. Whenever I've used it for biscuits or rolls, they always seem to burn on the bottom. And since there is no slide-out rack, removing large items from the hot oven can be both difficult and dangerous. The unit is also very large, and takes up a LOT of valuable counter space. The interior light quit working almost immediately after I got it, and it is NOT user replaceable. The whole machine has to be taken apart just to get to the bulb housing unit. So, if it happens again now that the warranty has expired, I suppose I will either have to live without a light or pay for an expensive service call to have it replaced. The control panel is also a little odd and not particularly "user friendly." Instead of the usual touchpad, there is a knob which must be turned to the desired time, then pressed to set. It takes some getting used to, and every time I have a friend over, I have to give them a tutorial before they can even figure out how to reheat their coffee. Overall, I think I could have gotten a different machine that I would be equally happy with for less than half of what I paid for this one.

We have had two of these Convection Microwave Ovens; when our first one died (after over 10 years of use!) I ran right out and bought another one. I am SO pleased with its many features, and I actually DO use the convection potential quite frequently. It's especially handy in the hottest part of the summer and when I want to bake I can do so without heating up the entire kitchen. It's small enough to sit on the countertop while large enough to roast a chicken, cook whole potatoes, boil water/heat soup, BAKE COOKIES AND CAKES!!!!!! (one layer at a time, of course) -- this is one VERY handy little machine and I am delighted with its performance.

We eat pizza once or twice a week and this is great for not heating the whole house in the summer. It preheats quickly and cools down the same way.The easy operation allows my children to understand how to use the product correctly. With my guidence it allows them a feeling of indepence for cooking for themselves. I would reccomend this product to anyone who has a very busy life and cannot afford unhealthy fast food!!!
