A:  Hi md51- This is Sue at GE Appliances. We are excited to hear of your interest! Yes, PEB1590DMWW is a GE PROFILE™ SERIES 1.5 CU. FT. COUNTERTOP CONVECTION/MICROWAVE OVEN. Choose Convection cooking when baking or browning is desired. During convection cooking, a heating element is used to raise the temperature of the air inside the oven. Any oven temperature from 225°F to 450°F may be programmed. A fan gently circulates this heated air throughout the oven, over and around the food, producing golden brown exteriors and rich moist interiors. It also features Combination cooking which uses microwave energy along with convection cooking. You cook with speed and accuracy, while browning and crisping to perfection. A:  Yes, but it takes way longer than our convection oven does, so we never used it in the 3 years it actually worked.

A:  Hello Toni - This is Michelle with GE Appliances. We only recommend the current trim kits JX1530DBB and JX1527DBB for this microwave model PEB1590DMBB. We cannot recommend the use of an older trim kit that was not designed for this model. Thank you for checking.

A:  Hello Lee - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. The JE1540WV002 used a trim kit JX1527 or JX1530 that required the following cabinet cutout dimensions: 18-3/4" High x 24" Wide x 21" Deep. You would want to go with one of our convection models, PEB9159SFSS or PEB1590DM as the trim kit for these models require the same cabinet cutout dimensions. You will also need to use the new trim kit has they have changed over the years. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

If the GE Profile Series microwave PEB1590DMWW is installed in a cabinet, a built-in trim kit is required: MICROWAVE OPTIONAL 30" BUILT-IN TRIM KIT JX1530DMWW or OPTIONAL 27" BUILT-IN TRIM KIT JX1527DMWW. The trim kit uses air flow from the top, bottom and sides of the trim frame. Blocking the air flow can cause the microwave to function improperly and may cause damage to the microwave.
