Almost identical to a GE convection-microwave oven we purchased 11 years ago. The old one had a handle for opening, the new one has a push button. We liked the handle better. We bought this one because it has the same features as the old one, which we liked, and because it could be installed effortlessly with the same mounting hardware.

I love my convection oven! I rarely ever have to use the 'big' oven.

Had to replace our 18 year old Profile because the digital board went and it was as expensive to repair it as get a new one. Hindsight... The former had an almost black door and the current has an almost clear one which allows the insides to show with door closed. The interior was larger too. Don't like that you have to spin a knob to set the time. Also it's in 15 second increments instead of 10. It works and does the job though. A recommendation would depend on what the other person was used to I'm a microwave. P.S. Your rating website has a lot of hesitation when typing in it.

We purchased this unit to replace a wall unit that finally failed after 20 years of service. It fit into the cavity (with some mounting adjustment) and looks good and performs great.

The oven is large enough to accommodate various platter sizes.

This microwave is a replacement for a 13 year old profile model. So far it has met and/or exceeded my expectations.

In my household we have buy GE products through our marriage and now with our 5 children. GE microwave is reliable and no problems so far!

Microwave has easy to follow guide and cookbook. Enjoy using several of the features.

I bought this near the end of Jan. and we have had 4 services calls on this appliance. The convection part of the convection/microwave does not heat properly. The temperature is 50-100 degrees off from what it is set. I had bought a GE convection/microwave 10 years ago and was pleased with it. When it wore out I replaced it with this convection/microwave and I can't use the convection part of my appliance.

This is our second one -we literally wore the first one out. We use it morning, noon, and night.

We really like the many features on the Microwave. We have yet to use the convection oven feature though.

I just purchased my second unit. The first finally gave out but it went through a lot in our house! It's a very user friendly microwave with lots of versatility. The only issue is that the door will stick shut at high temps. What's strange, too, is the first one did the same thing but it stopped after some time. I forgot all about the problem until I used the new one and it does he same thing! The door will open but you have to pry it open, but be careful not to mar the front. Enjoy!!

This is my second one. I bought one in 2001, and the convention oven feature is such a plus! Great for cooking those appetizers while the roast is in the stove oven at a different temperature.

Absolutely identical to the brand I replaced, right down to the old installation kit and trim fitting perfectly.

I bought this product last year. I like it. I would buy it again.

Although the measurements seemed to be right for the cabinet, it doesn't fit in space correctly. Door won't completely open. The microwave itself seems fine, but something needs to be done about the door.

My family loves this appliance! Very easy to use, even our 6 yr old can use it(with supervision of course). Everything is clearly marked. We love being able to make fast dinners during the week with the convection oven, saving us a lot of time to focus on other things. I would highly recommend.

3rd GE microwave I have owned. Don't like the 15 second intervals especially for working with a few items that heat quickly. Really like the "reheat" options and glad they kept the express button. I also cook frequently in the oven and have learned to use the convection combo feature. Works great on casseroles that need a brown top to be appealing (cheese, breadcrumbs, etc.) The oven is noisy. Disconcerting at first but you get used to it. We are pleased with the oven.

This microwave does an excellent job of heating your food quickly.

This microwave/convection oven has an attractive appearance inside and out. It has many useful and easy to use features. I am definitely pleased with my experience during the first month after purchasing this appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this appliance and have used it quite often. We like it and it is not very noisy.

I have just ordered a second one after the first had the rotor that turns the turntable break after 6 years like another reviewer did. The part to fix it was under $20 but involved labor I couldn't/wouldn't do as a DYI project. I have loved this oven and the only improvement would be a larger turntable but, as a built in, I have no way to acommodate a larger case if they had one. Never had to change a lightbulb in 6 years so that was never a problem for me. All in all, for me, a great product.

Don't like the 15sec intervals on the time set and find the controls less than easy to see without looking directly at wording (i.e. not easy to locate correct control by feel). Could be less noisy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this countertop convection microwave does what it is supposed to: it microwaves things efficiently, it bakes things well, and it defrosts well. What I don't like is it's size; for the cooking and baking I do I prefered the GE over the stove micro-convection oven I had. It allowed me to use lasagna size pans and to have two levels for cooking. (My kitchen set-up in a new house didn't allow me to have that model.) Also this makes a lot of noise especially when I am using the convection. I wouldn't have anything but a microwave/convection. As I mentioned this one does what it is supposed to do, but doesn't have the flexibility of the over the stove model.

The microwave is easy to use and easy to maintain. We haven't used the convection oven feature that much -- doesn't fit our lifestyle. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a similar product.
