First time smoker purchase.Easy to assemble. Smoker was mostly put together just had to attach a few parts.Good quality. Looks nice on deck. Picked up charcoal & wood chips at local Home Depot. Already used & food was delicious! Easy clean up. Happy with purchase!

These smoker is AMAZING!!!! We cooked 4 different types of meat in it at once and they all came out perfect! When assembling be careful because it’s scratches easy, but it took me less than an hour to put it together!

This is my fourth offset smoker and first vertical smoker; the design is good, although I do have problems with the lower door latch when the smoker is not sitting on level concrete. I've noticed bubbling on the inside of the smoker box after I burned off grease from the drippings. Good, not great.

Got this for my son in law, who’s an avid smoker. He thinks it’s the best thing since sliced bread. Using the high temp silicone to seal was a fantastic tip i got in the reviews. Superb smoker for the price and really uses much less charcoal/wood than the old one.

The smoker is ok , wish it would have came with the sealant that is needed . Also needs a diverter plate inside the chamber. It cooks ok.

The smoker gets a 5 for performance. Dyna Glo customer service gets a 1. Needed missing screws before Thanksgiving. I was promised express service by Tuesday before turkey day. The screws arrived a week AFTER Thanksgiving. Inexcusably poor service.

I have gas electric and the wide body this wood burnner I must say the best flavor comes from the wide body. After 3 back surgery for me the latch for the door on the bottom and the fire box are to low. Also the rack in the fire box needs rails to hold the rack in place when u slide out so it does not fall out. Wish legs where longer to get it up off the ground. That said I would buy again great smoker .

New to the smoking thing. Bought this one after looking at all types because I could use waste wood from my woodshop. The Home Depot website said it was made in Canada which I liked. Turns out this was a lie. Made in China. Never the less, it seems to be a fine cooker. Took a few sessions to learn how much fire it needs for the proper temperature setting, but that is coming. Also thinking of a dual probe thermometer to make temperature regulation a bit better. All in all I’m very pleased with how well it smokes food. It does take a lot of attention. It’s not a set and leave type smoker.

Double check your order for all parts. When I received mine. The box was fine no major holes or creases in the cardboard. But I was still missing all my installation bolts. If that’s the case. Just buy them from the store as it took GHP Group 3 weeks to mail me out replacements

Assembly easy.

Such a great smoker for this price.Assembly took less time than it did to unpack it. I used the food grade caulk on the connection between the firebox and the smoker bin. Its almost a must do.The door on my smoker is slightly misaligned, however the gasket on the door still makes a seal.-1 star

This smoker works great! Everything we have cooked in it has come out perfect. The rectangle cabinet fits large cuts of meat and full rib racks as well as large fish. Home Depot assembled it for us so I can not tell you about that part.

Large smoker, plenty of space for all your smoking potential. Shelves can be moved to make room larger pieces of meat . Fire box works great. Had a dent in the smoker body when it arrived, but didn't deter me assembled the unit in 1.5 hrs.working slowly.one of the nuts inside fire box was stripped so had to improvise.Also used high heat caulking and adhesive around any potential leaks. Smoked two slabs of ribs and whole chicken. Temperature gauge seemed to be right on the money.Im pleased

Followed suggestions of others about sealing between firebox and smoke chamber. Also put insulation around firebox door. To my surprise, the smoke chamber leaked at top weld seam. As another user said, watch out because it will drip some kind of oily black substance when you heat it up for the first time. Held heat OK. Smoke cabinet is wide enough for a full brisket. Overall not a bad unit for the money, but do take the time to seal all the gaps during assembly..

Very easy assembly. LOTS of space for food. My first smoke yielded 2 chuck roasts and 8 lbs of the most tender and juicy chicken quarters!!Some problems maintaining temps. Probably going to get better as I learn to work with it. Also, I FINALLY got my smoke ring!!!Love it so far!!!!

Was dented but I took a rubber mallet to it. Your staff was a great experience in compensation.
