Great precision and accurate

I never liked jig saw because they don't cut straight but Bosh has done an amazing job with this tool. You just need to try it for your self to see.

Only used it few times on small jobs. But it worked great. Very smooth cutting. Very easy to control. Great product. 5 stars

This saw has plenty of power and is easy to use. I like the variable speed and the easy blade ejection. I highly recommend it.

top notch. it can even cut out material without clearing all the way through it, like a circular saw can. I was pretty amazed by that.

Bought new jig saw to be used with Collins coping foot attachment. Had to modify finger guard to fit under coping foot. Hard to bend finger guard. Other than the modification seems to work fine.

I need to cut a section of 2x4 to a particular shape, and this beast cut through like butter. Supper smooth operation, no vibration and quick. I would recommend this above other brands.

Fantastic tool! The grip feels great in the hand. Blades are easy to change out. Very powerful if needed. And it is variable speed for use with different materials and different blades. I am very pleased with this purchase!

Its still quite loud but it cuts much better than my 1970 craftsman jigsaw. The vibrations are much less severe as well. The quick blade release works very well although the blade "shoots" out where it would be nice if it drops out. The biggest fear I had was that it would be too wide to comfortably grip but unless you're the president you will be fine. It would be nice if it came with the dust collection parts thats why it has 4/5 otherwise its very nice

This is my first barrel grip jig saw. I hope this feature allows me better control for coping crown molding. The saw is well built, runs smooth, I'm sure it will give me years of use.

Do it yourselfer for long years, this is the 4th jigsaw I own and it didn't disappoint me. Rock solid, powerful and precise, there's nothing to complain about. Well, one small thing: a LED light close to the blade would add a great improvement.

easy to control and comfortable to use

I knew my jig saw was on it's way out so I did a lot of homework before purchasing. I read all the tool reviews and they all had varying thoughts so I went and looked to see what the tradesmen were using and was blown away 5 of 6 had this Bosch Jig Saw. When I spoke to them they said you can feel the precision of the build of the tool and you won't be disappointed. That sealed it for me and I went right out and bought it and I'm so glad I did.

This thing us a beast!!! It's absolutely amazing!!! Just everything about it rocks!! It almost moves alone, you just guide it. You can't expect no vibration at all from aby power tool but compared to my old jigsaw this things it's like riding a Cadillac. Very mininum. 7 amps and it shows. just great!! i don't see me looking for another jigsaw anytime soon. It came in today and i already used it ti cut out the hole on a vanity countertop.

I was worried it would be to big and heavy but it cuts great with no vibration. I must admit that it is larger (I do have small hands) than most other skill saws I have used. But once I started cutting scrolls in 2x8's I could tell it was obviously a top quality tool. Easy to control and change the blades. On/off switch took some getting used to but setting the speed first and then turning on allows much better controlled cutting outcomes!

Why did I wait to step up to this jig saw. Major upgrade from what I had and couldn't beat the price.

Bosch has always made the best jigsaws around... They still do! Particularly like the barrel grip model...more control

Couldn’t work better or smoother.

Amazing jigsaw, a little on the heavy side but super easy to use.

Replaced an old B&D and what a difference! Less vibration and truer cuts. It's heavier than the old but the barrel grip actually makes it easier to work with. An LED light would be nice, but those are pretty much useless going around curves anyway.Very happy with it.

Being 80 years young, it was too heavy for me & the switch required my two hands to put on & off. Being a Bosch devotee, having owned some in the past, it was very disappointing that I returned it. I only gave it 3 stars because of this.

Have had several jig saws and all seem to wander on deeper cuts - especially in surfboard foam - creating an unwanted bevel, and the blades seemed to 'float' in the chuck. Decided to bite the bullet and spend the money on this Bosch. MONEY WELL SPENT! Blade stays super firm in the chuck and even at 4-1/2" in soft foam the cut remained true! Super comfy to use, just let it do the work. If you're on the fence BUY IT!
