A:  On the one I own, all it says on the label is,"Bosch Tool Co. Mt Prospect, IL." Doesn't say anywhere anything like "Made in USA," "Made in China," etc. Mine is about 3 yrs old.

A:  Only T shank style fits, not U or bayonet blades which are obsolete but for a few old saws.

A:  this only works with t shank blades. i would recommend bosch blades

A:  The JS470EB is 7 inches high when you switch this on it locks in position The JS470E is about the same height. IT has a lock on button on the handle left side of the trigger switch.

A:  The barrel of the saw stands 5.0 inches above the work surface. The forward section is 7.5 inches above the work surface. The on off switch clicks into either the on or off position. There is a speed dial above the power cord

A:  Thank you for your question. The height from the bottom of the footplate to the top of the jigsaw is 7 inches (without blade). The tool is equipped with a slide on-off switch. Slide the switch forward to lock in the "on" position for continuous operation. To unlock the switch, slide the switch button backward.

A:  About 7" tall and long. You actually do not have a choice in locking the ON button, it DOES stay ON, which is my biggest gripe too. I like variable speed at the trigger, not a separate dial. Come on Bosch, listen to pro woodworkers! Festool and Metabo are beating you..
