Helps me a lot in my paint jobs.

Very sharp and very clean work. Only thing I don't agree with is the price for this tool is very high for the material it requires to make. They sell the blade separately too now as well.

It's only made for right-handed people

I bought this thinking that it would save a ton of time... boy was I wrong! This thing couldn’t put the tape on the plastic to save its life. Total crap and not worth the money.

This tool will dispense both paper and painter's tape at the same time, but if you want to have the ability to actually CUT the paper and tape you have to spend an additional $17 for the cutting blade is for some reason sold separately and attaches to it. They hide the fact that you are buying an unusable tool among other useless information printed on the front of the packaging, but make no mistake you MUST have the cutting blade or all of your corners are going to look like a rat chewed the paper apart. I am reallyy disappointed in this $30 paper weight, and 3M should be ashamed of themselves for selling it this way.

I was disappointed that the paper cutter is sold separately.

Great tool if you need to mask things off before paint. Would have given a 5 star but it does NOT come with the blade. Have to get the blade separate. Stupid

I ordered this item and it had to be shipped to my home. I live an hour away from the store. I went to use it and there's no blade on it. It is printed on the packaging material that the blade is sold separately but not in the description when you're ordering it. Very frustrating when you go to tape your house off and you can't. Thank God I was able to locate another one from a friend. I will be returning this!

Either I was missing a part or didn't buy the required accessories, but the role of film was too much leverage for the operation and it made cutting the film and tape pretty tough. Blade guard only made things worse. Once I got a system it worked well. Narrower roles of tape seemed to work best.

This thing is awesome for masking. Get the Film Blade to go with it. It cuts paper AND film. I removed the guard strip to make tearing off the paper easier. If you've got a lot of masking to do you NEED this!

For some reason the tape wants to roll off the oaper, I think the tape spool is cocked The overall usage. It's workable, if I had to buy it again I'd use my old one that requires wrapping the tape spool holder with tape to get the tape to stay on reel

This is a very useful tool to have if you have a lot of masking to do in preparation for painting or other work. Easy to use, good value. As per usual with Home Depot check the packaging carefully. The unit was meant to come with a cutter but it was missing.
