I needed to buy a dishwasher. This location had a few that could be installed in 1-2 weeks, but most were backordered until April (3 months away). I purchased one that was available and also paid for the delivery, installation, and protection plan. The very first night, I tried to run a cycle and 15 minutes in, the dishwasher shut off and displayed an error code. I attempted to fix the problem with the manual troubleshooting information. I could not get it to clear. Called Home Depot, who told me once I buy an appliance there is nothing they can do. I then called the protection plan number, who told me I had to call Maytag. Called Maytag, who told me it was installed incorrectly. Spent several more phone calls trying to get Home Depot to give me the phone number of the installers. They confirm it is installed correctly. So, now I'm out $1000 and still have no working dishwasher.

This is the best store to navigate and it is easy to find your items that you are shopping for. This store is also very clean and tidy, probably the best looking home improvement store in Lansing.

Great in every thing. In got what I needed

Sara and Penny, in the flooring department, are incredible! Penny taught me how to lay tile and led me through the process of purchasing the materials I needed, without unnecessary expense. Sara helped me order the flooring for my next project and spent almost two hours with me my room measurements, finding all the supplies I needed for the floor and the stairs, and even wrote down aisle numbers for supplies I would be coming back for in the next couple weeks. Can't say enough good things about this department and Penny and Sara.

The store in general is ok. I recently made an online order and received my email to pick up my merchandise. I arrived and went to pick up my order and only half of my flooring was there. I was then sent to flooring and had to pick up the rest of my 9 boxes of flooring. They refunded me for half my purchase yet they had the flooring on the shelf? Really ? What sense does that make let alone the least contact possible for safety and I was sent to deal with the flooring department after the store made a horrible mistake? Definitely unsatisfied by all means with this experience and I just recently spent 150 dollars in gift cards for Christmas to the the Home Depot. I am definitely contemplating returning them now cause if this is how they handle online shopping well I don’t want other friends and family dealing with this type of service.

This is still my favorite multi-purpose, all around big box hardware store. Employees are always friendly and helpful. The selection and quality of the merchandise is always dependable. From tools to paint to hardware to lumber to gardening - I shop here first for everything.
