The store is well kept, in stocks are good, but their employees are truly a disaster at providing service. Customer service desk is the only place that provides decent customer service. Employees in other departments, including paint are just plain rude and treat you like your an inconvenience.

I’m writing you today to express my concerns with the delay of my current home improvement project for the installation of Hurricane/Impact Resistant windows which started in October 2019, on 10/30/2019 I signed the contract after two encounters with the sales consultant David Silverman and one encounter the measurements technician Everald Samuels. The contract stipulates the installation date between 12/16/2019 and 01/22/2020. The actual finish date was February 14 th 2020 and, as I understand it, the delay is the result of inaccurate window size measurements facilitating the ordering of undersized windows for my townhome.
I currently rent out my townhome and have a highly responsible and demanding position at work so the scheduling for the installation of the windows took a lot of planning. I certainly understand there can be unforeseen events that can delay a project, such as inclement weather, vehicle accidents or shortage of materials. I do not believe inaccurate measurements to be an acceptable reason for delay. The measurements should have been performed correctly the first time. Not the fact that I took of work all this days for the project, but my tenant who resides in the unit was inconvenienced longer than necessary. As I understand it, the delay is the result of inaccurate window size measurements facilitating the ordering of undersized windows for my townhome. Monday, January 6, 2020 was the agreed/scheduled date for installation, the truck was in the shop that day. We postponed the job for Tuesday January 7,2020. I took of work again and I told my tenant to vacate the property for the installation of windows. On January 7 th (set installation day) the Robert Brack measured all windows and realized that the measurements were off. The installer called to installation specialist to inform him of the issue. The install service manager Marcos Singler was called and the technician who measured was called as well. I appreciate the honestly of the installers. The installation manager tried to pull a fast on me and get another installation crew to still install the smaller windows using extra shims and caulk. I jumped and rejected the idea. Marcos Singler had recommended that a new crew be assigned to the job, however, I felt confident with the first crew. I watched the installer remeasure the windows and felt sure that he was correct in his assessment of the situation. He told me he could not install these in good confidence.
The measurements were redone and a new installation date was set.
In the meantime, the windows shades in the living room were down for a month and my tenant had no privacy, also in the bedroom the larger window we could not install the shades. This is all due to the way two adjacent windows become one big sliding window. Finally, we got the windows installed on the February 6 2020and February 10 2020 when I signed the certificate of completion, town of Davie inspected the job #10941177 on February 14th.
The installation was done right and besides some window seals being broken everything went smooth.
