Everyone was extremely knowledgeable about their department and products. Customer service desk was exceptional. Thank you Justin. I was helped in every department in the store that I needed. Didn’t find the plunger that I wanted but I found everything else. Thank you.

My go to store

Store is always clean and well stocked. Just hard to find an employee to help with questions or locating items. I finally went to the service desk and the associates (2) were there waiting on other customers but were very helpful when it was my turn.

I was told someone name Layman was the night/evening manager very poorly ran

I have to give major kudos to Matt. I came in to try to replace a toilet roll holder from my dad's house. The screw was stripped. I couldn't find one that would work in its place. Matt asked if he could help. He saw that the one I brought with me had a stripped screw. He was able to replace the screw for me. He did not have to help me, but he did. And he was super pleasant about it. Needless to say I will only shop at this HD in the future. Thank you again, Matt, you are a gem!!

Helpful and friendly employees

My wife and I have had numerous home projects that we have used this Home Depot for. I am also a military veteran who served 10 proud years in the United States Army. As a salute to my service, I mainly shop with retailers who honor me by providing a military discount. Today I learned after shopping at this location that this store will no longer honor veterans by providing military discounts. Because of this, I will no longer be shopping at this location.

Terrible customer service. Unhelpful staff. Nobody seems to know what they are doing.

This review for me stands out because I have had some terrible service at this store but this and a few prior to this has been exceptional especially the customer service people but Alisha stood out from the rest she really impressed me she was so sincere and came across as if she really does enjoy working there and cares about the customers

I have been shopping at this location every since it opened. It's not far from my home and the sales people are always eager to help. My family buys everything here, from garden supplies, hardware, paint, appliances, etc. If it's not in the store I buy it online and the Home Depot staff ships it to the store for free.

Even little kids enjoy going to Home Depot! There's lots of cool tools, beautiful plants, a nice restroom and a super fuzzy rug to touch! At the end of a long shopping trip, there's even a yummy hot dog stand. What a fun way to spend a summer day and parents can actually get something accomplished!

The customer service is the best! The store is neat and they always have what you want at a fair price. If they don't have it they will tell you where to go and get it.

Employees standing around talking.. not much work being done... Lots of employees, store was well stocked with what I needed.. but if I wanted help that was in short supply.. I was in the area so I went to this location.. other stores are better.. I will remember that this location isnt very good.

This is my favorite store. Things are located where you would expect them. The associates are very accurate in locating small items in a big store.

Today, I went to the Southfield store #2711 to pickup items I had ordered on line. As instructed, I went to the Customer Service desk and was waited on my Christian. This young man was busy, busy but he took the time to help me with my order, he even offered to show me where the product that I wanted was located. I told him no, but thank you, I know where it is. When I came back, I didn't have my Home Depot credit card and he looked it up very quickly and took care of the transaction quickly and easily...all with politeness and a smile. Very professional. I was impressed by his articulation and dedication to his job.

Friendly staff!

I was pleasantly surprised to have a nice young man named Corey in Garden help me take my plants and bags of soil to the car and load my car for me. He even put plastic down to protect the carpet. Corey had the best manners, was so courteous and polite. His smile and act of kindness really made my day. Corey is truly the gem of the Southfield store.

This is for sure one of the nicer stores in my area. Always well stocked and I’ve never had an issue here.

Clean store, well stocked - poor management/bad attitude. Angry when approached regarding poor customer service. The 15% off ($1.28) was a nice gesture but insulting!

The associate in the flooring department was very helpful and he went above and beyond to get me the product I needed.
