The employee from the wood section helped me find the tool section I was trying to find a tool item to hold my tools and knifes/box knife.

Sandra was AMAZING! She went above and beyond to assist me. The first cashier quickly told me she could not help me and it wasn't until I asked for someone else that I received the BEST employee. I've had an issue with a product since Nov 2019 and after waiting for a back ordered replacement I went to return it. I didn't save the receipt as I know Home Depot can bring it up by credit card used, well my credit card was stolen so I didn't have the same card. Sandra found my exact receipt from the store it was purchased from and quickly issued a refund. She could have easily brushed me away as the first employee did but NOPE, she provided what she could do to help me rather than what she couldn't.

Wow!! I'm buying a house mid-remodel, and wanted to view the "Black Stainless" in person while I was there to pick up a new shop vac. Jimmie was eager to help, without being pushy. He gave me so many valuable tips! I have been dreading buying an old coil or glass top stove - I didn't even know you could convert a gas stove to propane! He made fantastic suggestions for the new kitchen, and I will be making the hour-long drive from Canyon Lake to buy everything from Jimmie! He is a great asset to HD, and a credit to management.

Overall I would not recommend this Home Depot location due to the attitude of the employees and the clutter in the aisles.

Just so convenient for us and the staff is always so helpful and happy to assist us with questions or special orders, with whatever we need.

We just bought a washer and dryer. They're having a great sale on exactly what we want. Our salesman was the same guy we bought a fridge from. It was a great experience as he was very friendly and very knowledgeable.

The HD on Slaughter Ln in south Austin is always clean and organized. Most of the customer service employees recognize me and know my name. It's so nice to be greeted with a warm smile and a "Hello, miss....... !" They're always so friendly and ready to help and I truly appreciate their pleasant demeanor.

This store is well stocked and has convenient hours. It is as clean as any other large building products/home improvement store. It is often hard to find someone to help if needed because staffing isn't as generous as it could be. Generally I have found the people there knowledgeable and helpful when I have needed help finding things. The location is awkward to get in and out of. This isn't Home Depot's fault. The entry point from the I-35 Northbound frontage road is precarious because the road narrows from two to one lanes right around where the driveway is. The other entry point is off of Slaughter Lane east of I-35. It is impossible to use if coming from the west because of the huge double line of cars either waiting for the light if red or speeding through the intersection if green. When leaving the store you are almost always stuck going north on 35 unless you can cut across multiple lanes on Slaughter after turning right. I recommend you come here at odd hours or use a helicopter.

This store is always clean and everyone is always friendly. I always find what I need and I enjoy how close to home this location is.

we go here all the time. we love the survice. the new stuff is awsome. we can find stuff easily.

Don't plan any projects, they will cancel your order the night before the contractor shows up without even contacting you. To make it worse, it was only an hour before the store closed. Horrible customer services.

I would give this store 0 stars if I could, the customer service is non-existent but for one employee. such a shame that despite multiple visits the loading lanes are always blocked, store staff refuse to page to get it cleared, and be prepared to load all your own equipment, drywall, and lumber. they tell you to move out the way in a check out when a forklift is moving directly behind you, with no safety personnel to direct or protect customers. Other staff employees stand around and do nothing but get in the way of customers at checkout at the contractor checkouts, which should be cleared for people that are actually working and trying to get to job sites!!!

Always quick and easy to shop. Employees are friendly and available when I need help.
