PREFERRED STORE FOR HARDWARE!

HOME DEPOT HAS MORE OF WHAT A HANDYMAN NEEDS!

QUICK AND EASY! I USED THE AUTOMATED CHECK OUT AND A NICE LADY STILL SAID "THANK YOU" AS I EXITED.

Went here for black friday for a Dyson v8 animal vacuum. Inventory showed that the store had 4 in stock. None were to be found in store. Sales person called the Joliet HD store to have them check their inventory. She specifically asked that they physically check their inventory and not rely on their inventory system. They replied that they had 10 physically in the store. Based on this, we completed the purchase in the Shorewood store and went to the Joliet store to pick it up. We arrived 1 hour latter at the Joliet store to pick up our purchase. We were told that they didn't have any on the sales floor or in the pickup area for items on hold. We were told that the units were "on the truck" and that it would be the next day before we could pick it up. We later received a phone call from HD stating that they didn't have the vacuum and stated that they would "have to" refund us our money. I have never seen a company so eager to refund our money instead of giving us the product we wanted. We are going to go in and get our refund and have bought what we wanted over the phone. Great deal!!! Our old Dyson, which we purchased back in 2006, finally died this year which is why we wanted another Dyson.

Every time I visit this home depot every one is very helpful. I recently purchased a dryer and Latosha helped us and she made the process so easy for us. We are newer homeowners and this was our first appliance purchase and it was great. Will keep in mind for future purchases.

Staff member Jean was very helpful. She was working the front entry way. She helped me get a charged scooter, as I cannot walk for long distances. She also guided me to the department I asked to go to. She was helpful and pleasant. Thank you.

Love This Home Depot. I always come here for Gardening supplies, Paint supplies, Tools and any Home improvement or quick fix supplies. Staff is wonderful and helpful. Keep up the good work.

The staff in the flooring department is amazing. Tara and Kristi know their products and provide great advice. I highly recommend working with them for all flooring needs.

Love the garden center. I can always find such healthy, beautiful plants! They're reasonably priced, and well-cared for.

Store employees told me I qualified for an 11%rebate which made me decide on buying an almost $1000 item. Since there were incorrect I was obviously concerned I would lose almost $100. First store manager said back on the credit card for error. Then arrived second store manager said computer wouldn't do it. Gave me an in store credit. Bought a 5 gallon of paint and used credit. Then employee handed me a $40 rebate on my 5 gallon of paint. Went from worse to worse to worse to better to better to ya baby!

I am handicapped and went to check out there were no cashiers at any register to check out there were about 20 people in line only 2 self checkouts were open and every one checking out were having trouble with the process. If I didnt get paint mixed to match I would have left a cart full of products there and went some where else..

Never enough help on the front end and the front end employees that are working the front end make you feel like you are pestering them by shopping there.

Recently purchased a refrigerator and had a very helpful sales representative help me find the right model, helped me purchase it and schedule it for delivery. I was very pleased with my recent experience at the Shorewood Home Depot.

Since Jeff became the Store manager this store has improved 100% The Customer service is amazing largely because the moral of the employees has improved. Every experience has been good this year.

Anne was our salesperson who helped us pick out appliances, she was very helpful and very friendly. A pleasure to deal with no matter how many questions we had or prices we asked for.

Pam from appliances is the only reason I'm giving the store a 4, I almost walked out cause I couldn't find help or anyone to answer any questions on the project i was working on instead every question was quickly fallowed with an "i don't know" "not sure" and "yeah they'er not answering the phone sorry" until i ran into Pam that is. Did she have all the answers? No but it didn't stop her from looking it up or tracking it down and walking me to what i was looking for, she stepped out of her department to help me and I'am thankful for that level of customer service.
