I am your typical "do it yourselfer" and am occasionally in need of assistance. I am guaranteed to always find a store employee here at Home Depot, who knows how to do what I'm trying to do and is always more than willing to give advice.

The store was extremely crowded by too many displays that narrowed the aisles, making motorized cart access impossible in many places about the store. Little or no turning radii left to make a turn with the motorized cart, esp in front of the store and indoor gardening. Employees very friendly and helpful.

The Abbott Road paint department is far superior to the Tudor Road HD. Kathy in paint is skilled and can color match like the other stores can't. That department was helping people promptly and friendly while I was waiting. The checkout was great and offered me $40 in rebates I didn't know about. They called for loading help that came as fast as I pulled the car up. I like this branch better than the others of HD.

CASHIER MEALILO PROVIDED GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. SHE WASNT SAPPY OR OVERBEARING, BUT INTERACTIVE AND THATS ALL ONE COULD WANT IN A HOME IMPROVEMENT WAREHOUSE.

This store has amazing employees. I have never had a problem finding someone to help me and then they always go above and beyond.

I belong to The American Legion in Anchorage. Recently your employees volunteered their time and resources to help lay a floor in our Post. The number of volunteers that came out from Home Depot numbered a minimum of 21 persons. Volunteers came from Fairbanks, Juneau, Wasilla and Eagle River. Each had a skill set that contributed to the work at hand. Alan from Flooring was especially helpful in giving me pointers so that i can do my own floor. As a result, he assisted me in purchasing flooring and tools I needed to do the work. With the knowledge I gained I will be able to lay my own floor at home. God bless you all.

All associates seemed friendly and willing to help, but on my last visit it took three employees to locate the item I was looking for (box fan). The third employee named J'son knew the exact location of the item and made for a quick in and out shopping experience .

Went in to get a ceiling fan for our master bedroom and we are replacing a light fixture and Bob helped us out in getting everything we would need to get the job done so we wouldn't have to come back. The store was very clean, the staff was very helpful from start to finish and everything was labeled nicely, was in and out in less than 10 minutes.

clean store and helpful people. visited several times with no complaints. The employees are always doing something to improve the store. However they will stop without hesitation to give me the customer assistance i need. This store should be used as an example of how a store of this type operates.

Great store friendly staff

This is a great store. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is not as large as the other in town, but if I need something they don't have they check and let the other store know I am coming for it. If I have a question they take the time to answer it. I go frequently to this store as I am always working on a project and I will not go any where else.

We received the most amazing customer service today. I needed a key made, a shelf pin, a certain kind and size of screws for drawer pulls, and the associate who helped us, Bob, walked us through the store to every item we needed and had our key made for us. I wouldn't have known where to start, and he got us to everything quickly, and even gave me some great tips on how to use a tool I have at home to finish my project. I could not be happier with the service and knowledge we received at this store today! Bob was awesome and so were the associates at the self-checkout aisle!

This is a great store. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about their jobs. I do several projects on my home and when ever I start I get information from them that helps. I recently laid wood flooring in my basement and they help me learn how to cut corners on baseboard. I am having carpet laid down and they walked me through the process. When I was hanging blinds and had an issue with part they worked quickly to get me what I needed.

This is a good location that is close to home and I have shopped it often so I am pretty familiar with the layout so I usually go in knowing what I want and making my choice and purchase quickly. I have used the online purchase feature and picked up my purchase at this store. This is a service I will use often.

The store had a great selection of the product I was shopping for. Everything was neat and orderly making it easy to find the product I was shopping for.

The store is always clean. I bought my washer and dryer at this store. The appliance staff was very informative and helped me make a good decision. They were friendly and spent time showing the different features of the appliances.

I wish this store was as large as the Tudor store. However, this store has better employees than all the other Homedepots.

I live on St George island in the Pribilof and Home Depot has all products to live there. In particular cheaper propane heater solutions like Williams heaters which I plan on buying and 100 propane bottle. Diesel is too expensive.

Not only is SE Anchorage Store #8940 convenient but the staff is always friendly and patient in providing assistance. Their advise is professional and genuine. Ease in locating products (both on the shopping list and sometimes not) makes this a pleasant experience. Home Depot is the home owners best friend!

Great salespeople! Gabriella H was so helpful I ended up buying a fridge when I had only intended to comparison shop. Good prices too!

My son just moved to Anchorage and I wanted to give him a holiday present, a BBQ and therefore did my transaction entirely on the phone. Everyone I spoke to was attentive, conscientious and helpful and seemed to treat me like I was the only one in the store. Even my follow-up call about assembly and pick-up was done in a professional manner. When my wife and I come up next week for a visit, we certainly intend to see everyone in person to put a face to the name, for future transactions.

Heather was in another department and gladly came to plumbing with us. We told her we just bought a dishwasher there but needed an addtional part to install it. The part was not sold individually but was available in a kit. We only needed one part included in the kit. Without question or hesitation she opened the kit and gave us the correct part needed to complete the installation without charging us for the part. She was pleasant and helpful. She made our visit to your store very satisfying. She is an assett to your store and should be recognized accordingly not only by us but the coorporate leadership also as an example of providing excellent customer service. Your store employees have a very good attitude and treat women customers well

Employees didnt know what they were selling or where it was located. Got a bunch of dumb looks on their faces when asked for dies, as in threading dies.
