This store consistently provides great customer service, availability of most merchandise advertised and has improved their check out experience. They also show much concern for cleanliness and safety during this difficult period of uncertainty and risk.

Even though it was pouring rain yesterday, I had a great shopping experience at Home Depot. They had everything I needed in their nursery department. The prices were great and the inventory was plentiful. The cashier was particularly helpful.

I do frequent this Home Depot and all though it is one of the ones that is arranged differently it is always well stocked and seems to have a bit more to offer than many .

I like the Patchogue store. Its well run however the masks must muffle customers voices? I had a cashier completely ignore me when I asked her a question where to find a specific item and maybe because I was wearing a mask and she was behind that shield she completely ignored me not even picking up her head. I don't yell so I will assume she wasn't aware I was standing there? Which in my opinion is not very good considering she was by the contractor door and anyone could of walked out with anything they wanted. I worked in retail for decades you need to be constantly looking around and up from your task to be aware of the customers around you. You can use some more front end training on that.

Highly recommend this store for it's cleanliness and organization. The employees are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly!

Shopping there for many years have and improved immensely throughout the last 5 years.

I put 4 stars because it’s realistic. The store is always clean , nice employees, knowledgeable employees . Usually have great inventory. The only issue I have , which I am not the only one. If they could make it mandatory, that employees are in their sections , so we don’t have to spend a lot of the visit looking , or waiting for another employee . That would be really good!

I had a wonderful experience, with the cashier Mia, she was happy, knowledgeable, and didn't miss a beat to be of service me! She deserves a raise. The store was clean and I felt safe so far as COVID is concerned.

This store is often out of common items that the website says they have in stock ,,employees don’t bother looking for them ....that’s if you can even find an employee to ask and you end up going to another store!!! Very frustrating!!!

Had a great shopping trip just a little while ago, two of the young workers helped me with some garden supplies, heavy bags of rocks. They couldn't have been nicer and besides the rocks, since I knew I could never lift the bags myself, they were exactly what I was hoping for as I drove to the Home Depot.

This Home Depot has always been a pleasure to shop at . Staff is always helpful and courteous.

I went to the store to buy a 5 pound box of screws, they were out of the large size so I was forced to buy a 1 pound box. When I was checking out I asked the cashier if she could reduce the price of the 1 pound box to match the savings of the 5 pound box which was around $4 difference. She said she could not do the mark down that they have to do it in the department, as anyone that has shopped Home Depot knows the cashiers are allowed to mark down upto a certain amount. She tried calling a manager but nobody was available so after five minutes of waiting she finally did the $4 markdown. On the way out the door I happen to see the heavyset blonde assistant manager on duty, I mentioned to her that the cashier said that she could not do a $4 markdown, She said” yes she can“, I said yes I know she can, maybe they need more training to let them know that they’re allowed to. With that she snidely said have a nice day sir and walked away. She was the least bit interested in hearing what I had to say, I was talking to her in a calm, respectful tone. Of course I will shop there again that is my home store, I was just a little annoyed with how the assistant store manager interacted with me. And she has been there for many years too.

Very impressed with my last visit to the Patchogue Home Depot store - I was able to get help and staff was very friendly.

always had good and somewhat better than other home depot experiences here. This time was the worse. Seems there is no management. Could not get anyone to fill my propane tank even after 3 very long walks back into the store and being unable get someone to answer the phone. Associates I ran into while entering the store all told me they were busy and couldn't page. No manager despite my repeated asks. This store is going down hill fast.

Matt was super helpful when I went shopping in garden section for some Mother's Day gifts! Helped me find what I needed, check out, and load my purchases into my car all with patience and very quickly for my convenience.

Even with all this social distancing/corona virus craziness, every employee I came in contact within this store was great, super friendly. They had what I needed when 4 other locations did not. I would go back there even though it is a little out of my way.

During this pandemic, Home Depot store #1258 is being very cautious and caring about the health and well being of their customers. I have also had the wonderful experience of an excellent employee named Michael A. who saw to it that my needs were met in a caring and friendly manner. i definitely recommend this Home Depot Store.
