I'm always satisfied when I leave this store. On Black Friday I bought a can of paint for my kitchen in a very bright pale blue. The more I looked at the color on the can the more it looked like something for a little girls room ( I don't know what I was thinking) When I took it back to the store I couldn't get a refund (because it was mixed) but the associate adjusted the color to something I liked more...she talked to me about what she was doing and was very patient. She was very nice and I was satisfied with the outcome. Also this store sells house plants all year round which is a plus, plus to me!

They should have more cart brought in the store The store is clean and friendly Debby has helped me many times. Once with a weird gift card problem she solved. She is always nice and doesn’t seem put off by helping Frank and Karen in paint as well have helped me

Horrendous! Rehabbed kitchen, floors, bathroom. All ordering done through Home Depot. Ordered online so contractor could pick up at store. Employees never had items ready, never knew where to find them, and contractor spent a lot of time waiting. What’s the point of ordering ahead so your items are ready for pickup? Custom countertops? Forget it! The company Home Depot contracts with is unknowledgeable on installation practice. They didn’t put the sink in before the counters, causing the counter to be lifted and it cracked, The company is unresponsive when trying to get issues fixed. 3 weeks without a functioning kitchen sink caused all the junk in the lines to solidify. Causing my dishwasher to drain all over my new floors! So then I needed to have drain snaked. Home Depot or countertop company wouldn’t respond same day. I trusted home depot to vet these companies FOR me, so I wouldn’t have any issues. Easy peazy. Far from it, and ultimately didn’t save any money over having it contracted through a specialty company.

Worst store for customer service of any Home Depot store I have ever been to. Lots of bitter employees who refuse to help and are downright rude. Bought a five gallon of paint and employees (2 of them) refused to let me take it in the cart to my car. Was told carts were for employee use only. I asked for help to then carry it to my car and was told none was available. They stated people were stealing the carts. I asked for the store manager and no one ever came.

Very poor customer service. Manager wouldnt walk over to the register to deal with my issue. If you return an item without a receipt you receive a store credit, which is common among retailers. The "corporate policy" for Home Depot is that only the person who received the credit can redeem it and they ask for an ID. Not customer friendly when I am the person who does the shopping in my house.

Ask for Marshall at the Pro Desk, he is amazing. He is very knowledgeable and efficient. He knows his stuff and can help you with all your orders.

I placed an order online for pick up at the Northlake Il. store and after checking in at the customer service desk with Alma, noticed that one of my products were damaged. It looked as though Alma was surprised that this item would have been given to a customer and said she would have another one brought to up to her. I told her that a would still purchase the item for a reduction in price. She reduced the price and I was all sent. Nice to see a great company like yours giving the associates the power to handle situations that in the past would have taken forever to have someone make the decision she did. Alma is what I consider a keeper, one who make a shopping experience great. Hats off to Alma.

I had a refreshing experience today. The associate got a flat bed cart for me, placed my item on the cart, waited for me while I paid, and pushed the cart and placed the item in the trunk of my car. He was very pleasant and was able to help me with my selection; he had the job knowledge that I was looking for.

Out standing store, your personal are few and far between, keep up the good work.

I'm usually there 3-4 times a week & know the staff pretty well .

Rude and argumentive employee very disrespectful to customers

The #1919 Northlake Home Depot is our go to store!! Courteous, friendly, knowledgeable Home Depot employees make the experience at Home Depot worth the money we spend. We love this place! It is like a Toys R Us for adults!

Items are misplaced in bins. Items are not sorted well, leaving similar but wrong items in a bin. The employees are nice but there are few of them, so you have to look around to find someone to help. Plumbing, appliances and electrical have the best help — the other departments are understaffed and those employees who are there are not knowledgeable.

After my previous bad customer service experience I had from a different The Home Depot store, Jason made sure I was taken care of. I explained my dissatisfaction and disappointment from another The Home Depot store and Jason went above and beyond to satisfy my needs.

On Tuesday, June 4 2019 I purchased a can of wood filler (Bondo 12 fl. oz. Wood Filler) and when I opened it at home I found it had already been opened and 50% used, returned to the store and put back on the shelf. I had to make a return trip to exchange and the store manager on duty had to approve the return causing additional delays.

Travis in garden goes above and beyond the call of duty to make customers happy. Tim in Lumber works quickly, safely and accurately. Sean in Loading is strong, polite and helpful.

I like my Home Depot store in Northlake because is always very neat and organized. Employees are very friendly.

I placed two orders and both were completed in a matter of an hour. The orders were correct and available for me at customer service. I was in and out in no time. The associates were very courteous and the store was clean.

We went for our yearly Mothers day plants this store has a HUGE selection you name it..if your looking for a particular plant I would bet they have it.

Every time we have gone to the Northlake Home Depot, we are always greeted & offered help by many employees. The employees are very knowledgeable in their dept. & many good suggestions for home improvement.

Associate was very helpful with me looking for my bathroom products.
