Store employees are very friendly and helpful. Most of my Home Depot shopping is at this store. Clean environment and always has the stuff I'm looking for. Best Home Depot in Delaware!!!!!!

I primarily use Home Depot stores wherever I have lived. What makes the Newark, DE Home Depot special is that the employees seem EXTRA helpful every time I visit.

Chris is a Christmas Hero! I needed Manger assistance and Chris helped with a hard Christmas situation. He was polite and able to help me get my husband just want he wanted. Thank you and I will come back to this store!

George in gardening/outdoor was generous and patient with his time in helping cut, prune, wrap, and tie our Christmas tree. He made multiple trips to the store for twine and took care with the tree and knots. Additionally he was friendly and pleasant throughout the experience. Kudos!

Everyone in This store is service oriented. I did my shopping via the phone with Lucy in appliances and she was a tremendous help. I ultimately purchased a washer she recommended. Thanks for your help Lucy and Michaela too.

As a homeowner I have purchased many items from Home Depot such as new shower installation, new double pane windows for my 2 story home, all new deck flooring, washer and dryer sets, and many other items for my home. Being a veteran I have always been appreciative of receiving a military discount. Thank You Home Depot. (just a note. No discount on Black Friday deal of 4 part combo purchase.)

Very Curious friendly with out being pushy

Store itself is great, but there was a salesman vendor camping at the "entrance" door and he was too pushy. I recommend if you need to shop here that you go in through the "exit" door, or the roll-up lumber entrance. You might have to find a cart in the parking lot before you go in, since you can't use the main entrance. If you forget and use the main entrance, quickly duck through the returns registers. If you crouch down behind the rack of construction and ideas books you can then crawl across the aisle from customer service to the ceiling fans without being poached by the vendor.

Needed help finding a product. Dominick helped me find it. Got more help, Dave, got a forklift and got down what I needed. They were both very knowledgeable and happily helpful

This is a great place to shop.If you can't find it ask a salesperson and they will be glad to help you.

I appreciate the consistent good service that I receive when shopping at Home Depot (Suburban Plaza in Newark). Anytime I need help, I am able to get the assistance I need with my purchase.

I’ve found staff to be very friendly and helpful. On many occasions, they have taken the time to walk with me to find the item I need. Many are often knowledgeable about items in the departments they work in.

We needed keys made for a new lock-set for a college rental, and the first set of keys didn't work. When we returned, TIM went above-and-beyond to make sure our second attempt would be successful. He found CHASE, who individually cut 8 keys for us, successfully. We were very pleased with the service and their efforts to make our shopping experience a positive one. We were also impressed with the store and their tool rental service and equipment rental service. These services are not available at every Home Depot. I wish we lived near this Home Depot!

Finally purchased a refrigerator from this store after receiving no service at the Christiana store. Refrigerator defective and store offered a lesser brand (price $200.00 less) with no price adjustment. On phone over one hour arguing my case since representatives at GE and Home Depot have no authority to make a deal without me fighting for myself. On my fourth person (Dave, James, Pam and Sherry) with this issue and my third day taking off since new delivery of another frig scheduled for Thursday. Sherry did say HD would compensate me with a credit card (don't want credit card want my cash or credit on my account) once GE decides what they will pay of the $200. if anything. After over an hour on the phone with Sherry and GE stating they could not give me another frig like mine till August 1st -(actual purchase date July 10th) they miraculously found another model like mine. GE refrigerator purchased doesn't tell you what the actual temperatures are just the set temperatures which in my case weren't accurate - had to purchase a thermometer to determine frig not working besides not making ice cubes. Called store Wednesday around 5:15pm for delivery time - told to look on paperwork and call delivery company even though I know information is in their system - great customer service.

The customer service and check-out people are fantastic. The store always seems to be very well organized, well stocked, well lit, and clean.
