They helped me get what I was looking for

In this particular Home Depot store, the service is excellent. It is clean and the employees are very observant and attentive. However, they do not smother you like a loss prevention guard. In fact, the positive attitude of the employees is catching and you can even approach another customer with the questions about where something is. I'm serious, Friendliness, good manners, patience, and courtesy can be quite catching in a positive environment. I have been to other Home Depot Stores in New Castle County Delaware and this one is the best!

The level of customer service we received from Chrissy was exceptional. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient in providing the information we needed to purchase a French door. She went above and beyond by providing us with color samples to take home. As a result, when we went back to purchase the door, we waited for her to finish her lunch break to see her for our purchase. Again, we received excellent customer service, because she listened and made us feel like a valued customer. This positive experience will ensure that we will continue to shop at the Home Depot # 1610 Newark.

Memorial Day was busy but every staff we interacted with was helpful. We were walked to where the product was, asked if there was anything else we needed and thanked for shopping! We've had 'iffy' service here in the past but it is our closest option. The staff we saw and worked with were all helpful and dare I say, cheerful?? What a breath of fresh air after months confined and feeling nervous about life.

We Ordered a front exterior doorJan 14th 2021, with an expectancy date of March 1st. Every week the delivery date was changed. The door department stop returning my calls so I had to physically go into the store for any updates. I was advised at the end of March my door would be shipped by April 20th because the doors were in the process of being painted. April 20th comes around and new shipment date is now may 11th. I guess they are still painting.

Messed up my special order and went through 3 hours trying to get it reordered. Now it is out of stock and money returned and two trips for nothing. Thanks HomeDepot.

People are very friendly and knowledgeable

This is my "Go-To Store" for building materials and craft supplies. The people are friendly AND capable. They will interrupt their other work to get you what you need. Smooth check out and helpful loading, when you need it.

We've always had good experiences here. There always seems to be enough staff to help answer questions or help find a hidden product. Maybe we're just lucky as to when we shop, but it seems they've managed to hire some really nice people!

I ordered my important and expensive item via a phone call. After calling many of the Home Depot branches and the competitors, I received the most information and courtesy from Home Depot in Newark. Thank you for your help and your professionalism even during this very difficult pandemic time.

Recently switched my loyalty to big box stores to Home Depot. The Newark store has become my home store even though it is thirty minutes away. Service and associates make it worth the trip.

Bought a 6 ft. fiberglass ladder. It was FILTHY. Spent an hour cleaning it when I got home.

Simply put, this is a awesome store and they did what they do the best, have what I want and a great price.

Went to the store today to buy kitchen cabinets. I had looked in other stores and did my pricing while at the other store. When I went to this store to purchase because they had everything in stock. What I found was though, their prices were higher then the other Home Depot stores I was in, for the same items. They refused to price match THEIR OWN STORES. Buyers beware, you may get a better deal going to another Home Depot.

Probably the biggest and most organized HD store in DE. does need more employees on the floor but is a nice store!

This Home Depot location is always clean and organized, and the employees are always helpful and friendly, that I’ve experienced.

The minute I walked into the store I was greeted by a staff member. In each department I as greeted by an employee asking me if I needed help. Lucy in appliances was very helpful and I left with a new dishwasher. There was no wait and I was in and out quickly. Everyone was very friendly and went out of their way for their customers.

Helpful and friendly staff make this the BEST home improvement store in the region. Staff morale is great and they are so helpful - saves me time and money!

Home Depot employees are always friendly and have the knowledge to get me what I need

Bought a log splitter from this store recently. Upon inspection of the splitter once I got home, I realized that it was missing several washers and the main bolt to allow the splitter to be used in a vertical position was missing. Assembly instructions were clearly not followed, as one of the log catchers was installed upside down as well. At this point, I'm just thankful I got home without any accident on the road while towing.
