The employees at this location have excellent people skills and knowledge about the products sold at this store. There advice to please and assist you with your project needs is A1. I'm pleased with the advice and service. Highly recommend this store location.

It seems every time I need something and can't find it readily at other stores I just go to Home Depot and it's always there and at a very competitive price. I only wish I lived closed to Home depot..

Employees demeanor was very welcoming, eagerness to help and very knowledgeable about the products. The store was very organized, clean and very shop able.

John from the Electrical department assisted me greatly with finding the correct LED to use for my project. He knew all the LEDs and incandescent bulbs, explained what would work and what would not work, what could even be a fire hazard, he spent time helping me look at all the products before finding the exact right product for me. I took them home and they worked perfectly, just what I needed ! He saved me time and from bringing back purchases that would not have worked. I like to figure things out for myself, but sometimes that means returns because I didn't obtain assistance the first time. Some stores in town have employees who really cannot provide assistance, they are really just stockers put into roles for which they have no background. But this store, and John in particular, really gave me a valued service. I didn't hesitate coming back two days in a row. Cashier Doris, was so friendly and helpful to me as well and she packed my unwieldy purchases.

Customer Service employees are always on their cell phones and act as though you are putting them out when you request assistance. No one comes to help when they are called to assist you. This store has a serious management issue. Product diversity is lacking. Associates ignore you and when you find one to help you, they do not follow through.

5-15-2017 at 11:37 Cashier's name: Nicole. I think her cashier number is 61577. I would like to commend Nicole for providing wonderful customer service. She was thoughtful and helped me package my plant purchase. She also remembers my name and military discount. Nicole is very polite and asked questions about my garden. She has been working with Home Depot for several years and treats all her customers that way. Kudos to her. She deserves to be recognized for a job well done.

I do not live in the Lafayette area, however, when I am working I often stop by this location on my break. Though it’s a smaller location than the one near my home, it doesn’t disappoint. The employees have been very helpful, friendly and accommodating every time I’ve needed assistance.

I was offered knowledgeable assistance and salespersons were readily available when I needed them! After I made my selection, associates were waiting to assist me with loading my purchase! I appreciate their customer friendly approach.

I contacted this store regarding having a fence built at my home. I set an appointment and nobody ever showed up. I contacted the store after waiting at home all afternoon. The store person was annoyed to be dealing with me and let me know it was a contractor service and they had nothing to do with that and his response was "if they said they would be there then they should be there". But, they weren't. I finally got in touch with the company and they said they were on their way. They never showed up, never called. I called the store again and got the same response that it wasn't them but a contractor. I asked to speak with a manger but he wasn't there. I left my name and number. No response. I went into the store for another reason, again, asked to speak with the manager. He was not available. I called or went to this store and asked each time for THE manager at least 5 different times. That was 12/2020. Today is 4/2021 and STILL NO RESPONSE. I contacted another store in the region and asked about an area or district manager - my information was supposedly forwarded to her. NO RESPONSE. This store shows a total and complete lack of proper training, poor customer service, HORRIBLE leadership from an incompetent and unqualified and unresponsive manager. This is a complete disgrace to Home Depot Corporation to have so many failures and so much neglect of only ONE customer. It makes you wonder how bad others are handled with far worse problems. Why push your home services with outside contractors if you are going to fail to deliver and then ignore the issue? It makes no sense at all. I have had subsequent issues with lack of communication on the purchase of a patio set and the delivery of an outdoor rug from an online purchase. It seems that NOBODY has the ability to simply do what they say they will do.

Excellent staff and they almost always have exactly what I want - when they don't they usually have what will work.

I have been to the other home improvement stores in the general Lafayette area and it is like pulling teeth to get assistance. At this Home Depot store, I was asked multiple times if I needed assistance. This was a pleasant surprise. Will shop again.

Certainly not the place to buy a major appliance. They don't know anything about them and it is not their problem or policy to do anything about that.

Brett in the plumbing department was very patient ordering a hot water heater that was out of stock. Thanks for the great service!

Associates were very helpful and friendly. We were greeted and then directed to someone who helped us find exactly what we were looking for.

I would recommend this store because Jenn in flooring made our floor shopping experience so easy and enjoyable, even with us having to drive 40 mins from home. I would not recommend working with Amy in flooring, she lacks patients and was not very pleasant to talk to over the phone.

Like most Home Depot’s the app is more helpful than the staff. Co-workers chatting about personal life’s on there. I was grateful to find the tool I need, but the app, online, and 4 other store’s didn’t have. Disappointed not one person asked if I need help carrying a 2ft by 2ft by 3ft box. At least the young cashier was helpful but seemed more interested in signing me up for a credit card, which I already had in my hand. Home Depot is a great store but needs more helpful employees that want to help more than they want a check. Stocking shelves is great but if you’d get them talking they’d probably help sell more...

The store is well stocked up with things. The store staff is friendly but certain aisles are not well attended. I think Home Depot should employ more people to have help at hand.

Vicki at the checkout is very friendly and usually jokes around about finding more items to fill the cart. She is efficient, friendly and helpful.

Cashiers are incapable of reading a tape measure and charge for a wildly different amount of material than what you have.

Extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I love coming here and I’ve recommended my family and friends to go here as well. This Home Depot also seems to have their minds in the right place unlike crawfordsvile.

Thanks for great customer service and taking the time to find what was needed. The young gentleman found what we needed and we did not have to wait a long time to get the product.

a swell store with swell employees!

Cashier HAD TO TOUCH every item I purchased even though I wanted to hold them for them to scan. 2 of one item, 4 of another. Do they not know there is a Pandemic going on!!! Really!!!

If you have any painting needs, please visit the Home Depot in Lafayette. A very helpful, efficient, friendly man named Casey will be there to help you. And if you need paint matching...he can do that very well too!
