I would suggest that you only shop at the Ithaca Home Depot if you have lot's of time to spend there. Very hard to find help and when you do find help they have no idea where anything is.

your ithaca store is easy to shop and the people are friendly and available when needed

the help i get from the pro desk people. Dave the pro loader has always been great I can ask for him when ever i need something done in a timely manner he's always does what ever it takes to get me in an out with what i need

During May & June 2019, I visited my Home Depot Store over half a dozen times. Each time I met memorable people who were willing to take on my project as if it were their own. They were present in the moment, and each one listened to me describe my projects, and helped me to find exactly what I was looking for. This attitude is rare these days and always much appreciated. I am 73, and home improvement is not my area of expertise, so I need special assistance. If I were to summarize my interactions in a single sentence, one & all of the associates I met were ready to go the extra mile for me. In their own individual way and their own choice of words, they communicated this message: Just let me know what you need, I am here to get you whatever you want. It was demonstrated to me, that I was not just “a number.” I was treated with courtesy and respect. And I consider this a GIFT! The associates I mention by name took care of whatever I needed with a cheerful attitude and a gracious, friendly nature. I was impressed! Joe: pro-active - twice reached out to me without being asked. How can I help you? confident attitude - I can do that for you! This will work for you! Roberta: knowledgeable resource person - cares about her customers! Tyler: At the end of Mother’s Day, Tyler helped me choose the right stone in the Garden Store & loaded my purchase as if I was the first customer of the day! Jessica: Helpful - high energy cashier. Jessica made a duplicate copy of my paint receipt for write-in rebate. Stephanie: Also very helpful - high energy. Even on a phone call, S. connected me with the Behr Representative who answered all my technical questions about house painting. That conversation solved my problems & meant a lot to my house painting project! Dan: D. helped me consider options for blending Alkyd & House paint at the store. Willing to do whatever I need - calm, confident, kind - a real pleasure to work with! Dennis: Excellent customer service - great attitude! Ron: First day on the job - nice to meet him - he put a smile on my face. Whitman: I got my cart stuck in a dead end aisle & he moved things around & rescued me! I like that in a person! Richard: Diligent, tireless worker - strong work ethic - kept up high pace with carts on hot days even though no one was supervising his work. Richard reached out to help me twice without being asked. Sue: conscientious, helped me to filter through some trim flooring choices. Linda: came alongside me and walked me through to find the right paint products. Autumn: kind, upbeat nature - very nice to interact with her Brittany: light, bright personality - creates a refreshing atmosphere Well done, Team! You scored 5 out of 5 Stars in my book - on every single visit. It was truly a pleasure doing business with every one of you. I look forward to coming again. Thank you for your support! Me and Margaret were looking for a riding mower and were going to go with a cheaper model but went with a higher priced model on the reccomendation of an employee " Richard W " and boy was he right ! We bought a Cub Cadet and LOVE it ! We were treated with respect and our concerns and needs were heard and answered to. This is how a store should run ! I hope they give you a bonus Richard W. You deserve it ! Job well done ! You made us happy Customers !

The best experience ever. The employees (Richard in Garden and Linda and Brittany in customer service went above and beyond our expectations. Being older we felt a little intimidated making a large purchase but thanks to the pleasant and helpful employees mentioned it was a rewarding experience. Thank you Richard, Linda and Brittany

The Ithaca store #6155, provides a great shopping experience. Super great and knowledgeable staff that you will encounter. Absolutely, the best place to shop, and the quality is way above normal.

Compared to similar stores in the area my shopping experience at Home Depot was great! I was offered help and didn't have to try to find someone. The employees were knowledgeable. I will continue to go there and no where else!

Absolutely the worst experience in a Home Depot ever. Literally screwed up every part of everything they did.

THE WORST. Uninterested employees who refuse to offer help with the excuse “it’s not their department”. After three separate occasions of this over the last year, I’m leaving a review. Was previously a long-time customer from another city but I’ll be closing my chargecard and taking my business elsewhere from now on.

The one thing I would like to see is advance notice of upcoming sales. Nothing in mail, newspaper it Pennysaver. The only way you know is from flyer that might be at the store and is rare to find one. Mostly never have Wednesday flyers posted. Would probably get them a lot more business too.

Best team ever!!! Anne, Joyce, (two wonderful sales associates) Britt, (Service Desk) and of course Jen (plumbing) make my shopping experiences painless and subsequently makes me look like I have pro knowledge in front of my clients, friends, & family.... I just have to reiterate that I choose this store over your competitors bc of the quality staff this store employs!

We have shopped the Home Depot for many years and done renovations on two homes, we have always been satisfied with the products and service here in Ithaca and also when we lived in Midlothian Va.
