Customer Service at this location is horrible. I have been in 2 times and both in the last month was rotten. The men treat you like you don't know anything. Never again will I give them my money. I work in customer service. This store needs help. Rude. Rude. Rude.....

I had TWO amazing employees assist me on this trip,both were helpful concerned and kind ( helping an old lady who didnt know what she was picking up)

We shop at Home Depot often and for a reason. They have the best employees and we can always get the product that we need. Even when goods were scarce in the aftermath of the pandemic, we were given options and advice to get the material we needed for our business.

I stopped in on Sunday, May 29 with my shopping list. I asked a person where the Raid Indoor bug bomb was. She didn't just tell me what aisle it was in, but she walked me to the shelf and found it for me. I then went to checkout at the contractor checkout as I had some large items. Another person, Katie, came up and scanned all my items and gave me a card with my purchases. She mentioned that I could use the card in self checkout if I wanted. It was so easy.

Every person I encountered in this store demonstrated a strong service orientation. I had driven from a competitor in a nearby town, and had to ask 4 people where the Super Glue was located. (never did find it) Here the first person not only told me, but took me to it!

I usually don’t write reviews or do surveys but I feel I needed to take the time and do this. I went into the Home Depot on 1/29/22 and asked two employees for assistance both said they would call someone to come and help and just walked off. After waiting for about 15 minute. I went an found an employee Mike Nelson. He instead of the other two saying he would call someone to come help, walked with me and my daughter to assist us. This wasn’t his department (lumber), he was working in the hardware department. He even offered to go get us a cart. Thank you MIKE NELSON for turning our experience at the Home Depot around!

I came in just to browse the lighting fixtures and led strip lights. Tom directed me right to the led strip lights and while I was in the lighting department, another worker gave me some great information about recessed lighting. I didn't catch his name but he had a long pony tail. Overall all the employees were very nice and helpful!

Was greeted by several people and the lady, Nina Worms, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

We needed to purchase a new kitchen range. Nyna Wourms was the person on duty the day we came in, and she took lots of time to help us look online for the various brands and options, and related her own experiences with some of the new features we were not familiar with (like air fryer setting in the oven). As always, the store is well maintained and well lighted.

I am replacing floors. I had a person from HD come out to measure during all this COVID he came from another town. Very nice. But the Grand Rapids store flooring department I refuse to go back. They refused to help me while they were visiting with each other sitting by the computer. The 3rd woman said she was busy on the computer. The other 2 got a young man to help me buy flooring. It was his first day & couldn’t answer my questions. I left with none. I went back several times to buy flooring each time about the same. I finally got a very very parttime person named Joy. She was wonderful. During all this she left notes for others to call me to schedule a time to put my flooring in. No one would call or return my phone calls or pass on my message to Joy even after I told them to please make a note in the computer. They never did. Joy even stated she did not know why they called everyone else but me. She left them notes to call and they never followed through. I have 4 floors to replace. I paid for the measurements but never had them do my flooring due to the rude service. I could not get there names due to they were not visible but I do know their faces. When I have bought flooring from there before I did have a very nice knowledgeable man name Mike short Dark hair & glasses. It is because of him I went back. I will be finishing my floors now but I will go somewhere else . Other persons have complaints but like myself couldn’t find where to take them too on line.

This is to compliment Emmett, a store associate who helped me. He was very nice, professional and knew his job! He made all the difference in my shopping experience!

WE MOVED TO GRAND RAPIDS A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AND HAVE DONE MOST OF OUR SHOPPING AT HOME DEPOT.

Cashier in the garden center, Kekoa was terrible! I also filled out the survey on my receipt. There are too many other places to buy plants and gardening supplies. One person can be the difference in determining if a customer comes back. Basic customer service! It's really not that hard! He never greeted me or thanked me! I won't be back!

Store employees all seemed happy with jobs and opportunity to help customers such as myself. Thank you Home Depot, I will continue to buy at your store

I just received an email stating my review had been rejected because I mentioned a competitor in it. If you read it again I said...”I have had an acct at this store for years”. Where in that sentence do I mention a competitor? In actuality I am TALKING ABOUT HOME DEPOT. I have had an act at Home Depot for years but because of Home Depot’s record keeping my acct could not be located. It’s strange though because the computer had my name, address, dob...etc . The kind of info you would have on an acct. I was prompted to write the review by your website survey asking about my experience with my latest visit and purchase at the Depot. The rejection of my review goes hand in hand with my experience during my visit and purchase. Your employee assisting me is the only reason I made the purchase. He was so kind and helpful I couldn’t walk out. I doubt I will be back to your store again. You can’t even accept my review without screwing it up. I’m amazed.

Employees will not assist you with anything, primarily lumber and plumbing.

It took awhile to get help in the power tool section, but when I did, they were very helpful. The exact tool I wanted was out of stock. The cashiers were friendly and helpful, but the credit card application process was a nightmare. After typing in the requested information, and repeating the same information on the phone with a Home Depot representative when requested, the entire process took about a half hour, 45 minutes. (This all took place next to a door where about half the customers going in and out were without masks, defying both the state mask mandate and the signs on the front doors of the store.) After all that, I found out fixed-income seniors and low-income customers need not waste their time applying for the credit card, because the Home Depot credit card will automatically be denied to us.
