Cashier was rude, no one willing to help load wood onto a cart in the store, paint girl gave me a used dented can of paint - paint was all over the rim of the can, told the cashier we had a military id - didn't matter it wasn't applied to my order. Loading dock - 3 employees helped 1 man load tile onto his trailer. My truck was behind the trailer and I needed help getting the wood from the cart into the truck bed. They helped the man then all 3 employees went back into the store and put the roll down gate down, totally ignoring the fact that I was standing there needing help. Customer Service lady was annoyed and said we would have to wait 15-20 minutes for the discount and was annoyed we even asked for it. Not a good way to treat customers!

I have been shopping at Home Depot since it opened years ago. I have never had a bad experience purchasing or returning merchandise.

Home Depots team members were able to locate a particular dialect of vinyl plank flooring for me that was almost at one point like a needle in a hay stack to find. However the flooring department plus the pro desk were able to come together in locating what I needed. I was very pleased with how everyone went above and beyond to helping me. Thanks again... 😃

I bought Penn Butterfly/hummingbird mixed seeds, miracle potting mix, live tomatoes and pepper plants. Beautiful seeds, very health plants- I love them..

Went for a night trip and the employees were amiable and helpful. It was easy to spot what I needed and fun to look at what I didn’t need as well.

I’ve never experienced so many helpful employees. From the moment I entered the doors, to selecting my AC unit, and I didn’t even have to ask for help putting it in my car. An employee approached me to offer help.

All 3 of the employees I met were very helpful, kind, and very knowledgeable. They approached me to ask if I needed help! So much better than some other Home Depot’s, where employees seemed to want to avoid me, or I had to approach them and ask for help.

I found everything I needed thanks to the employees for assisting.

All I can say is WOW. Tracee was an absolute delight while shopping here. He answered all my questions and got me everything I needed in a timely manor (and there was a lot to get). Lisa was also wonderful when I went to schedule an measurement for installing my patio doors. This experience has made this location my “go to” store for home improvement needs. Just WOW!

Very friendly, well stocked, very clean

Customer Service went above and beyond on my visit on 5/31/23. They spent well over 45 minutes with me to resolve issues that we were having processing promotional financing and preferred pricing on a special order.

I have bought everything from garden soil to nails, light bulbs to fencing, seeds to paper towels, furniture to ceiling fans and much more at Home Depot. They have friendly, helpful employees, good quality merchandise with a wide variety of choices, and excellent hours of operation. Though it may sound a bit unusual for a review, I just really like the store. I look forward to shopping there. It is roomy with nice wide aisles, it has a huge variety of products to offer and the employees are unfailingly polite and genuinely friendly. It’s a great store. I highly recommend it.

Ordered a big plumbing supply list online to be picked up later. They were early with having it ready and didn't miss not one piece, which was not the case when I went to a competitor and tried the same thing last month. Very satisfied

Went in to make some purchases, upon checking out I discovered i could no longer use my military discount. Ginger took her time with showing me how to fix my issue and also set my business up for the Pro Xtra program. She is very knowledgeable and patient. All Customer Service Reps should be like Ginger. A 5-star Employee!

Prices ring up a few dollars more than the price tags say or what the website says. The cashiers and customer service people are rude. Once they lost half of my weed eater that was supposed to get fixed.

Curtis in the cabinet department was very wonderful! He was helpful even though I could see he was busy with designing other clients cabinet layouts but he took the time and was patient with me. I also had another great experience with him before purchasing cabinets when I was trying to determine what we would need and he gave me a booklet and explained all the details. He is very good!

I find that Home Depot’s Employees have come a long way in being more receptive when we shop They greet us and ask if we need any help or will get someone if they can’t It’s more of a pleaseure then a chore. To go shopping

We came from the Tower Rd., Home Depot looking for a large bath tub piece. We’re told that somebody had laid hands on it on 53rd and we headed that way to pick it up after 20 minutes of being told it wasn’t there by Dave. My husband threw up his arms and walked out. I went back in searched The whole store, then went to a nice cashier Clarice she went to two holding spots and found it. It was a 5ft x 5 ft item. Very thankful that my persistence paid off and that Clairice knew where and how to communicate with other employees on where things go. Thank you Clairice! We were 45 minutes away from home so thankful we didn’t have to wait or go to another store.

Down to earth, military family, fully stocked and courteous. The Gainesville Home Depot on 13th is will always be my store and every time I’ve gone in there they have taken care of me and been very respectful and not like some of the stores I’ve been around in Gainesville, so I’d like to say thank you to them and God bless.

If you are ever in need of an applicance make sure you ask for Debbie S. She was wonderful to work with. She showed appreciation of me as a customer and ensured I got what I needed before leaving the store. She explained every detail of my purchase and let me know how and when I would be contacted and why. She gave me all my pertenent documents. She ran into a small snag with the financing part and she never flinched she called her manager Joe and he came over and stuck with her and then enlisted Diance and Clarissa to help out until check out process was completed. I really enjoyed working with Debbie and was extremely impressed with the willingness to ensure that I as a customer was statisfied without throwing up her hands and saying well I can't help you which happens more times than enough. The manager Joe and coworkers Diane and Clarissa were just as invested in making sure I was taken care of. I saw true teamwork in action. Thank you Debbie S for your great customer service and thank your manager and coworkers too. Great weekend I had.

While focused on getting a task completed, I had to run into Home Depot in the Gainesville area and I would like to say it was a pleasure to encounter the hospitality in the building. Thank you Home Depot
