The associates in the garden department are kind, helpful, and will take the time to help you find what you need. Overall pleasant experience.

The store is clean and easy to get in and out. I know we have restrictions now but they need a friendlier person helping out in the check out area. I was helped in the garden area by a very lovely young lady. I asked her her name and she said Lindsay. Everything I asked she was able to help me with. Very pleasant and made my shopping experience an easy one.

The man known as Jacobb Ortiz is always working hard great guy extremely fast and reliable this store needs people like him I’d love to have the assistance he gave me again. They don’t do it like this at Lowe’s..

Ordered product online for in-store pick up. Should have been ready the same day, there is plenty of stock according to website. I Received a notification 2 days later stating the order was <<Successfully Cancelled>> without any explanation. I did not cancel the order. I tried texting and calling support number for an explanation. I was put in hold que for 45 minutes.

Had a problem locating a particular stain for deck and the paint dept and manager went above and beyond to help me and rectify the matter.. thank you

Could be the Home Depot website (not this particular store) but ordering online and having ALL items from my cart going to the same store was challenging. Even after getting an operator (toll free number) to fix matters... more items from cart were canceled. These items are in stock. Had to go through the same process and purchase the canceled items again (double-checking store destination every time along the buying process.) Pain in the butt!

Jacobb Ortiz is the best. Look for him

Lack of customer assistance, should not have to go to other side of store to have someone called & by the time you get back, 3 other people are trying to get help also! Do not like to use self check out, should only be an option. Not enough signage guiding customers how line forms( during pandemic), people behind me were arguing about where line was! No one outside aviable for assistance, there were at least 2 employees outside who chose to ignore me as my lumber fell in parking lot, I was using a crutch & my foot in surgical boot! No assistance inside or out!

It is all about service , knowledgeable staff and always willing to help!

This place is the worst, I really don't know why I keep going back. Rest assured I'm setting up multiple accounts elsewhere to better serve my business needs. This place is a joke!

Josh Jacobb works here and was great. Definitely go here for customer service. I’ve been in every Home Depot and none have ever provided the customer service this young man provided me and no one has had the same knowledge or patience to inform me on the difference in certain items

Recovering from hernia surgery I am not allowed to lift anything over 10 lbs. Luckily Josh was in the tool dept. This employee has helped me numerous times when other employees scurry away or fain looking you in the eyes. I went to see if particular items had reduced in price but there was no tag. Josh took the items to the self checkout to scan the price for me, put the unwanted ones back and then carried the purchased item, an 18v ryobi compressor, back to the register and THEN to my car so I would hurt myself. In an era where Home Depot employee caliber has long been dwindling its good to know there are still a few REALLY helpful employees out there. The company really needs to start rewarding good employees like this to not only keep them but find new ones. This is coming from an Ex HD employee (while I finished college).

This store is the best out of the 3 New Haven area stores. The folks are very helpful, you can actually find them when needed, the store is neat & clean and well stocked. It may not have as much available as say the Orange store like rentals, but generally...it's the friendliest! I also like that I've seen many times where workers will take out the damaged or bad wood, other stores seem to make you dig for the good wood, which is very time consuming.

Three employees made my visit to home depot a pleasure. An associate helped me in the paint department and gave me some awesome tips. In the lighting department a associate made some kind suggestions to help me decide on a chandelier. Finally, Debby, at the checkout, was pleasant and efficient. I left the store with a smile. :) I found some cool ceiling paint that starts out pink and dries white. I love it ! Excited to paint !
