Back story My father had my mothers ice cream chairs redone for my mom years before he passed away.. so for my moms 87th birthday I went to the Home Depot in East haven because the website said it had the Bistro table that I wanted.. so I drove down from Watertown and they couldn’t find them Sabrina searched for them and finally found the table I wanted. She had to get it down from the storage on the top shelves which was not an easy task she went above and beyond for me.. I can’t begin to tell you how pleased my mom was.. she is an amazing asset to Home Depot!!

Products alway meet expectations

Bought 12 gallons of distilled water. Would you believe when I went to pick them up it was in a carriage with 12 individual jugs. Seriously, when you walk through the store you can see the cases on the top shelves. Is it that hard to use your brain and figure out that maybe grabbing the 2 cases would be the best idea!! I get to the store and say I want them in the 2 cases. They made me return them. Seriously you don’t have a box on hand to throw them in?? Then I had to rebuy them in the actual cases! Someone needs a brain geez!

Do to a disability I am unable to lift anything. Alex walked with me and helped me with everything including checking out and loading my car.

Patty toro is amazing! She is patient and knowledgeable and made our experience easy and smooth. She deserves a pay raise. I have been in customer service and this generation is not the most polite. I admire Patty’s loyalty to the company. She is a valuable asset to Home Depot. Don’t let that one go.

I needed to purchase a few supplies for some home projects and the store employees were phenomenal! One of the representatives actually became a personal shopper for us and helped us find not only the products, but the accessories that we would need to complete the job. I would absolutely recommend this location !!

I was unable to return a gift card that I bought with my original receipt. I am not some kind of gift card scammer. I purchased a Starbucks gift card for a gift swap for my job department which is 95% women so I thought Starbucks would be a good gift item. Later that day the swap was canceled so I went back the following day after the purchase to return the gift card with the original receipt and gift card in the original packaging. The attendant at the returns desk was unable to successfully refund my purchase with the original receipt because she said her computer system was unable to process the request.

When I accidently left behind a newly purchased $100 Home Depot gift card, a male employee in the self service area was quick to return the card to me on my way out of the store. He could have kept the card, but was an honest employee.

I just purchased a new Frigidaire stove and refrigerator; good selection and price.

Store is always clean and the people are friendly

I was ignored by the staff in the lumber department. Brutal

The woman who helped me, Linda, was extremely friendly and helpful in taking my order. She explained everything I needed to know about accepting delivery and arranged to have my old unit removed and hauled away. Much Thanks to her for being so helpful

The individuals that work in this store are always so helpful and friendly. It really improves the shopping experience.

Extremely satisfied with the way the young lady helped me and explain to me everything about special orders. Can’t wait for my new blinds.

I had an awful day and east haven, CT employee Gleimi went so far out of her way to try to change that. I have worked retail, and there are not many workers like Gleimi out there. She was such a sweet and helpful young lady who took an hour out of her OWN time to help me figure out a charge I didn’t recognize after I left your store. She saw my stress and walked me through everything I needed. Had she not helped me, I wouldn’t have what I need and my day would’ve been worse. She is an asset to your company, and I hope she is recognized for the outstanding service she gives.

I found everything I needed on this trip and all the parts fit perfectly.

this is a very busy location; my biggest complaint is not really the store's fault; people park anywhere they wish blocking the pro entrance and making it difficult to exit with longer items

Make shopping experience easy

I love to buy at this Home Depot. Personal at the pro desk is amazing, they’re very attentive and they would help you to find everything you need even if they don’t have stock at the moment. Service is faster and you de less lines even if it’s a crowded place.

I spend a lot of time at Home Depot and generally find what I’m looking for and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly.
