I am a frequent shopper at Home Depot in East Haven. The quality of the products and the staff there is excellent. I also order online and have had items shipped to the store with great results.

Home Depot is great! I've purchased many items there- and they have turned out great- I especially like their garden supplies.

The rating would be 5 for Rena at the East Haven store, but the other issues I encountered that had nothing to do with her brought it down. Rena was super helpful and pleasant to me

The entire front area of the store is so over crowed with items for sale that there is no room for shopppers and their carts. Very unsafe

Excellent customer service. Every trip we have taken to this store this Summer has been excellent. The staff are always wiling to help. We have been very happy with all our purchases in various departments. The manager in of the patio furniture was outstanding, unfortunately we don't have her name, Jeremiah in lighting was extremely helpful, and Jake in landscaping was also a huge help. Everyone has been great.

If you are shopping for flooring I highly recommend contacting the young man in that department named Julian. He has curly hair, Julian was extremely helpful with quantity, underlaying material and the difference of floor quality.

This is store is phenomenal. The location for me is like a walk in the park. The employees are very customer oriented. Major purchase I did last year was a new Snow Blower. There was a slight misunderstanding regarding the deliverance of the unit. But the problem was solved by two individuals in the store. The first is the Assistant Manager, Kiana. She humbly apologizes to me about the delivery date. She solve the problem professionally. The other person I would like to thank is Vlad. He help me to get the snow blower and arrange for it to be deliver that day. Both Kiana and Vlad deserve a thank you from me. I totally understand how busy they were especially in retail. I would not hesitate to shop there again. This store is my get my home project done helper. Everything I need are there.

The website/app often says items are in stock and then when you arrive at the store these items are nowhere to be found. It’s also impossible to track down an employee to help. Today I was finally helped by someone after searching for help for close to 20 minutes. She directed me to the hardware department head. When she and I asked him about the item I was looking for, he shrugged his shoulders, said I don’t know, and said he was too busy to help. He was extremely rude and absolutely useless. I had to travel to a different store to find my item because he was unwilling to help. I can’t believe someone like this is a department head. How awful. I’ll shop elsewhere from now on.
